I am homesick for a place I have never been
Where my spirit is high and my soul is clean
Away from the apathy and the resentment that I can only describe as obscene
I look to within as no outer energy can cleanse my aura
Mother Earth replenishes me and helps secure me
But keeps my crown open to receive his power

On my knees my soul had broke

giving me a new look on reality and helping my light shine

I try to be free from fear resentment and live for now

People wonder how I can let go of someone I love so much, with such ease.

by impassioned people who end up causing unintentional pain.
I am crushed by the weight of the universe.
They say to be an empath is a gift - but to me it feels like a curse.

I never understood why people said
"I feel your pain" it's not like you can actually FEEL someone's pain right?
Now I know more than ever what they mean...
I do feel your pain
I soak up all of your emotions
Sadness
Anger
Euphoria
I cry all of your tears
I know why you're agitated
You laugh, I laugh along with you
Your happiness is my happiness
Your sadness is my sadness
Your anger is my anger
I'm not sure you'll understand
But
I feel your pain, I understand
I'm here for you.
