In gentle mornings  .  .  .
Chorus after making love,
  .  .  .  Coos of wild doves.
William A Poppen Aug 2014
Come fill the void beside my heart
Wide as the river valley spreads
Still as hillside without wren's song
Make full this space where you belong

Who will sit down beside my tree
Enjoy the shade of my misery
Communicate what turns their world
Help my pain fade to ecstasy

Come fill the void beside my heart
Vacuity so deep and wide
Become the clouds containing joy
Please sit beside my lonesome tree

Water it while you water me
. . .  just a draft for now.
Addictive

you linger like a drug in my vain’s

your touch is my ecstasy

your breath my ******

Your words are narcotic

with a bitter sweet taste

my heart is on speed

when i look at your face

Addictive

you are right down to the bone

ill want you ill need you

till its time to go home

your touch is my ecstasy

your breath my ******

your words are narcotic

and you are my tonic.

Beyond the butterfly feelings

In the whirlwind of our intimacy
A full option sensual desire
Distance distancing distance
All at once till we hit the ******
The zenith of pleasures and feels
Like the breakthrough of Miracles
Sounds of Soughs, ex and in hales
Hot Moments of breathlessness
Scratches of speechlessness
Mouth agape, dead-in-moments
long squeezes, short grips, sweats
Body vibrating, breath whispering
Emotions revealing, turn ons
Passions imploding, hard ons
Intense kinetic motions of kardias
Slippery shining fleshy mammalians
Till the moment of implosion: ******
That sweet ecstasy moment when
all that exists is what you feel
Ushered into the breathable
Strung on undefinable threads,
Life's atmospheric interlacing;
A weaving, hidden to opaque sight

Subtle ties, loosen and relax,
Chest enmeshed entirely,
Titillating summations of Earth's enthusiasm
Entwine in activities of the lungs and heart

Pumping action, energy, growth,
Air feeds fire, and power, and blood,
Burning from the inside, animated,
Billions of cellular suns, throbbing

Light in the garden of the body,
Alive with murmurs, and hums
Of love, all of time, and space,
Moved to produce this oscillation

Ecstatic the body expands in swells,
Ecstatic the body contracts in swells,
Ecstatic are the waves exchanging,
Ecstatic is the surge of breath

How could I not— know . . .
See the noncut of soaring eyes,
Approach, moist, ****** and tidal,
Waves so searingly laden with tear,
Flame, forged in some mythic winter
Frozen as I was, before the rush of ice
And flows of glacier, I heard the loudest
Break of open silence in the seep and roar
Of depths' deepest, dark, coldest ocean waters,
.  .  .  Before sweet suffocations of the very colour
White and saw the dim fates of fade, emergence of blue,
Hearts drowning.

Within the four doors that make up my Hyundai Elantra surges gasoline of sublime ecstasy.
I'm gonna lose my mind and sail the ocean.
'Cause somebody told me there were cherry blue skies...

Reverberates my radio and pours out of my chords to the tune of the bliss hiding in the highways ahead of me.
Sometimes, I let my voice steer the wheel and my hands touch the happiness in the follicles flying through the winds of the roads.
Other times, I drive without reason--
Without a destination or time limit or objective.
I drive to dream about
                Waking up too early
                Maybe we can sleep in
                Make you banana pancakes
Pretend like it's the weekend now...

Or to caress the breeze of the sunset's gentle gust grazing my fingers and the spaces between them.
On the surface sits a black car, but inside travels the life inside of me that I cannot manifest anywhere else.
As
      Don't stop believin'
      Hold onto that feelin'...

Turns the corners and the lyrics to my wheels
      Come crash into me...
I can't help but thank the gravel that I drive on and embrace the euphoria that I breathe in and love the life that I live.

Lips, soft as petals, rarefied as undiscovered
Wild orchids.

Hair, threads of gold gathered, woven, mined
From secret caves.

Eyes, that fell from violet skies landing on new
Isles of azure.

Skin, so salmon flecked, subtle, delicate, solas,
Destination.

Your body is buried cask and gilded keeper
Of jewels and flame, whispers, searing cold,
Blue fires untamed—

Lush, fertile wanderings, colourful birds, sweeping
Moon, pools of sorrows and light, trees branching,
Pleasures keen, crushing delights without name.

You’re still;
You’ll always be;
A part of me.
The thought of you
hits the spot
like the first time:
warm and easy.
Your home
is in my heart;
custom-made
to fit you
entirely;
still.

The dark sets in
Her mind is calm,
She sheds the skin
Of social harm.

Her heart beats slow
Then picks up the pace,
No longer below,
Peculiar grace.

A falling crown
But safer now,
A crippled heart,
But not to drown.

No more cries
No tears of pain,
Only joy
And wild rain.

She shuts her eyes
And breaks away
From all the lies,
A diamond ray.

No more burning
In her soul,
No more hurting,
Lips unsewn.

A beautiful aura
Of dark and light,
The night will fade
Into the bright.

Her heart lights up
With ecstasy,
Happy, although
A tragic story.

The true meaning
Of being sad,
Lips grinning,
But not glad.

A peek of sun rays
Through the curtain,
A blinding haze,
A painful burden.

She doesn't want
The happy to end,
But in the daylight
She has to bend.

Monstrous faces
Without a smile,
Hunger that chases
Till the last dime.

The day drags on,
A hurting stab,
Her life is a storm
Without a God.

No rainbow or sunshine
In the light,
But colours so vivid
Through the night.
