Options

I wish I could deny you this love,
Deny you my heart,
Deny every kiss,every touch,
But I see that its too late for me,
And denial now, is not an option
But tell me this my love, how can we not deny this love, when I know you are not mine to claim?
How can we love without fear when I know that the evidence of every moment you spend with me must be wiped clean,
before you turn your back on me and walk back into your perfect life,
How can we not lie to each other when I know you will never choose me in the end?
Denial,it seems,is the easy way out for you,for me,for us.

Too many of your friends,
wanna rob you for your money,
and many of these girls wanna take it,
while your asleep,
you cant go on keeping promises to everybody,
but staying to yourself is the promise you can keep,
everybody has their critics,
and even some that hate you,
but you always gotta know that talk is cheap,
the truth has a cost,
and everybody gonna doubt you,
you cant deny,
when they make you,
believe.

Someone I Could Love

Your smile is so innocent, but I see every crease.
Every scar and every wrinkle that tell a very interesting story.
I understand that the smile that appears before me today,
Was once lost in a valley of tears and sorrow.
Hidden in a lost city of pain and regret.
Searching for the strength to appear once again.

I question it's sincerity; whether your smile is forced or true.
Nonetheless, it's something that's so lovely on you.
It hides all your pain; masking your scars.
Hiding your tears and concealing your fears.
When I see that smile, I deny what is true.
I wouldn't mind falling for a girl like you.

Like the guilt from things undone
Lies the horrid emotions
We don't deal to feel

So preciously unique
Unlike any other I've heard

I've learned to burry it all in a well
