She had two lovers-
the sun and the moon who fought
so hard for her heart

If you
ask the stars,
they will tell you
that I won't shut up.
Indeed,
I wish upon them
every night,
wishing for you.
air is growing thin
as I float off the ground
the dreamers finally awake
now nothing holds me down

wandering into space
passing the atmosphere
seems my perspective
is too cavalier

running out of oxygen,
breathing goes slow
my dewy eyes reflect the stars,
like a canvas of Van Gogh's

I hear vibrations
this is my castle past the sky
where no-one asks how,
and I never wonder why

my body grows numb
as I float past stars
through my veins,
flows my liquid heart

peace like a wave
rushes over me
laying on this cosmic foam
it gets hard to breathe

I shed a tear
and then another arose
soon I was surrounded with these crystals
as each drop froze

with no gravity,
my walls collapsed
loosing all feeling,
I couldn't react

a syrupy smile spread
across my softened face
so do not be concerned
if you see a girl floating in space
would you join me? or would you rather stay grounded on Earth? why? tell me in the comments

Detached from you O' my beautiful Earth
My life is barren, has lost its mirth
You are blue and green and full of Hope
While I am grey and dark; have lost my scope

Earth o dear, you have chaos and peace
My life is cold; a perennial cease
Hell and Heaven; evil and pure
You have a cause; You have the cure
You have footsteps that leave a mark
While once in 'my blue moon' your Armstrongs embark

And as they leave, taking a piece of me
Men- all they care about is a bit of debris?
Planting their flagpole, darting a hole in my heart
Obstinate and selfish, they take pride in their art

I wonder O' Earth, if they incapacitate you too?
You offer your abundance, yet they still hurt you?
I thought I was lonely amidst the thousand twinkling stars
But my loneliness is bliss, better than your scars.
Look at you- You seem lost;
Your faith in men has been tossed.

Let me embrace you Earth, I give you my soul
Incomplete without each other- our Eclipse makes us whole!
And when in sunlit sky, you see me no more
I will wait for you my Earth, in dreams galore.

As darkness falls and you gain my sight,
Radiance of my fire breaks the delicate barriers of night
14 billion years, we have had each other-
Born from the Big Bang, our Cosmic mother

If a day shall come when we meet our end
Our eternal love shall eventually blend
Fear not O' Earth, as your youth extinguish
Watch every life on you relinquish-
Torn and Tossed into interstellar space
No days or months, but at our own pace
Where Time stands still, neither forward nor reverse-
As golden glitters of fiery dust, we shall explore our Universe.

out in golden blue.
The exacting clockwork of the cosmos ticks
ponderously
in Kepler seconds.

Chronology here is kept by
the
pendulous
sway
of
planets.

Aeons as minutes.

We are just dust
on the gears.

Galactic flecks,
swept up
in the filigree pirouette of an
astronomical timepiece.
Here, but not here.

Feeling the moment slip away
Losing direction out here in space
Trying to find myself
Tracing a path from the sun’s rays
Across the stars to that one place
Beyond the moon that bares your face
Out past the field where asteroids play
Carried out of the Milky Way

Into the void my journey takes
Through the holes carved out of endless space
Spiraling around for what feels like days
Suddenly, light illuminates my face

Flashes of life create this wave
That carries me back from whence I came
Back on Earth
Don’t feel the same
The stars out there call my name

I can hear them say
A journey through life is built on pain
Even the brightest of us lose our flame
When we are weak, we do not pretend
We burn out
So to shine again
Sometimes we need to be lost, so that me may find ourselves.

Festival of lights,
New beginnings,
Divine blessings,
Joy without strings.

Let’s drench in the boundless light,
From the sun, the moon and the stars,
Let's light up from within,
Make everyday a festival of lights.

I'm still waiting
for all the promises
we made under the moon
to return in
the stars.
