I know that you know
The pain you're so addicted to
Is not truly an addiction
To being hurt
To being made worthless
To feeling inadequate
It's an addiction to
Consistency
To feeling routine
But I know that you know
It's unhealthy
It's harmful
It's cruel
It's mean
Go find love elsewhere
Somewhere with respect
Somewhere with happiness
Somewhere without pain
I know that you know
It will not be easy
But I also know that you know
You need to do it
Because once upon a time
I was just like you
Addicted to the consistency
Of the abuse
Fight against domestic violence and abuse be it physical, mental, or emotional. We don't need that. What we genuinely need is love. So I urge you to walk away from that negativity because in the end you'll be stronger

My poetry has no consistent theme,
Or single writing style,
I simply jot down what I dream
Every once in a while.

I appreciate the daily sight
Of words someone elses owns,
That inspire me to try to write
A better work than Sticks And Stones

I always thought it seemed to be
A glorified, extended limerick
Compared to others on the daily-
All of them! Take your pick!

This rhyme is an apology
To those who may have thought
That I may show some consistency
In the writing of my poetry,
When I have not.

You need consistency.

Relax. You're stressing yourself out.

Stick with it. If you never stick with anything, you will never get anywhere. Keep trying to make change.

You are not omnipotent. Any change you can make will be small. But this change, reaching your potential, will be multiplied by the small difference of many, many others. Together is how you will change the world.

You are a beautiful flower, in a universal garden.

You need to slow down. Do whatever you think will best relieve you of your anxiety.

I know you want to sleep. But you have to get up. I know the world seems unwelcoming today, but you need to do something, become something, that you can be proud of.

Why are you so lazy, and bad at working? You need to work harder, your dreams are not the dreams of the lazy.

Relax. You're stressing yourself out.

You aren't getting anywhere. You think you have more control than you do.

Why do you look at yourself like you're such a mess? People think you're more than that until they see your low self-esteem. Then your sloppy attitude repels them.

Just do your work.

Why does your work drain you, and leave you unfulfilled? You will never always like your work. But sometimes it is good.

You need to stop switching between wanting to be here and not. When you don't want to be here, everything is halting, and all your progress is stopping dead. Indeed, it's as though you are dead.

This isn't making you happy, is it.
This one is the first one I'm posting just for myself. Just how I feel.

.
I think what keeps me up at night is knowing that
I could have made you so happy,
I could have loved you so deeply,
I could have been your constant...

If only you gave me a chance.

It is like this and
this is how it is.
The sun rises and
the sun sinks
but the moon is
consistent.
Don't fear
falling in love
because love is
forever.
Rather fear people
beacuse people
change.

I loathe consistency. It is the premier hallmark of the small mind and the stunted spirit. Don't look for any from me. I am a jumbled mass of contradictions. I embrace them. They are me. I say what comes into my mind (what's left of it) as it does. Tomorrow (or even later today), I may write the opposite. I am a smeared and blurred painting. I disdain simple solutions and answers. I accept chaos. ****, I eat chaos for breakfast. Some have called me mad; I call myself human. What you see is what you get - for the moment...

It's not that I can't do it
Its just that I can't KEEP ON doin it
Whatever "it" may be
I'm consistently inconsistent you see
Maybe cause I was born to be free
But that choice always seems
to wind up in apathy
I just can't keep it up
If I was a man then surely
I'd be suffering from impotency
This has been my struggle in life for quite some time, I'm at a loss at how to change it tbh, maybe I should take a leaf out of the book of Nike and "just do it"
