the cloud escapes me
when i am far, it floats further away
when i am close, it is lost forever
what we see, then, is it true?

i try to find you
but you are far, and further
now you are closer, disappearing
soon, you are gone; you were never here
inspired by tyler lockwoods '5pm, last week of october')

i am sick and tired
of loneliness.
looking for companionship
is going nowhere.
so i will settle for you,
said me.
i want you to love me
said me.
i want you to cherish me
said me.
i love our togetherness
said me.
i love that we wake up together
i love our humor
i love our kindness
and most importantly
i love our happiness.
i will continue loving you
till the day we die
and don’t worry
ill never leave you.
i will forever be with you
and if someone comes along,
we can date her together.
i have finally realized that the person i’ve looked for, is staring at me in the mirror. there is no other love than self love.

Doubt is a cloud hanging
              over me.

And the rain is a reminder,
            that ill never dry off.

I just want to hold up high,
                        strength,

                                                  so it keeps
me dry of tears seeping though stitches.

But on this day, I'm ill prepared and
the clouds drown me in droplets

of high felt emotion.

                   Raining down unimpeded.

Time seems to only fly
when you
don't want it to,
right?
Sometimes our days drag on
and on like passing clouds-
other days, like shooting stars-
blink and you'll miss it.

When storm-clouds rumble in the sky and June showers come down. The wind comes marching over the city to blow it just right now.

Know how it feels?
'tis impalpable, flows through I,
just like the clouds flow
thro' the blue sky.

Know how it seems?
'tis solid, visibly opaque,
just like the clouds above
in the blue sky's wake.
Know what it is?
'tis Love.

saw a breath of mist
mist became a cloud
the view from space

Drift away
Watching the sunset
Feeling the wind blowing on our backs.

thing of beauty
soaked in light
saturated with every emotion

You leave me weightless
static as skin

overwhelmed with the deepest of joy
when I get to stand in your rain
For the last few months I have just been overwhelmed with the beauty of the clouds in my city, and this poem is my love letter to them.
