behind the castle walls,
behold a girl who's been hurt,
a girl who's been taunted,
a girl who's been broken into pieces,
a girl who's been tossed aside like nothing,
a girl who's been torn down.

behind the castle walls,
lays a ******* her mattress,
eyes trimmed with water,
as her gaze is fixated on her ceiling.

behind the castle walls,
is a girl who doesn't understand love,
because she's numb to the feeling,
something that stings but no longer pains.

behind the castle walls,
is a girl who's tired,
both emotionally and physically.

behind the castle walls,
is a girl who doesn't want to breathe any longer.
because even the shallowest breath,
burns like flames.
the walls aren't high enough

cracked cement ramparts,
a less than mighty bastion,
  swamp cooler overflow,
   drool down the battlement.
    behind the stockade walls,
     faceless generals barked
      orders to their private troops,
       drilled their little soldiers.

           “welcome to my castle.”

       you call this a castle?
      heat throbbing off the
     parking lot convinced me
    to chance crumbling stairs.
and there, step four, flight two,
i bumped into my white knight.
okay, maybe more like gray.
i’ll compr with silver.

It was a dream exemplary and honorable
Delicacy laid in a glittering table
What a sweet dream it was
The sight so glamorous it will never last
The sweet scent has gone by
A luxurious aroma so enchanting, like I'm about to fly
Living in a castle full of delicacy and dreams
A knock on the door swept in
Come on and join me and take my heart
My sorrows withers when I'm with you

Trembling, Crying
The table is breaking, castle is fading
Shes chomping the delicacies voraciously, without hesitation
My Pride, My Hope, My Dreams
She ate it all, it shreds my heart
And when she's done,
She left to find a new castle
Worth 30 of my time

Underinterrupted silence,
none to gather at the gates.
Sell your warey wagon's axle,
feed, the castle masticates.

Oh the joyous altercation,
angled, dangling neatly down.
Hold your elder father's picture
underneath your writing gown.

Words defy the lonesome meeting
of the dogs in golden chains.
Herds arise of loathsome chieftains.
Battlecries as arrows rain.

Open book of monstrous brethren,
teach them how your pages turn.
Loving violence, kindred-hateful;
gutted, for a beat you yearn.
Round one, fight

A castle of dark, a castle of light
I wonder what'll happen today
Brave men and their steeds ready to fight
From night until the day

Deep inside, there lives a soul
Singing a harmony
Banging his hands on a keyhole
Dear James L'Carmany

Burning eyes, eventful fate
Hope will never die down
"Goodbye my dear, I'll be here by eight"
He would eventually drown

James knew in his heart
This day would a brand new start
I'm needing to leave,
But because of you,
I'm glued to my feet.
Unable to walk away.
Stuck in my tracks.
The sight of you was unbearable to breathe.
I once shared another life with you.
An intuition of recognition is what I perceive.
I'm missing your skin,
like a feather misses the wind.
Carrying my soul from place to place
all in a spin,
without destination or control never to waste again.
Everything came so naturally,
Wild and free.
There isn't one thing that I'll miss
but of everything.
Remember when I once said this,
followed by a kiss.
Forever yours I intend,
but that's when the storms rolled in.
Just like that,
the start was an end.
Without no inbetween.
Short time, losted friend.
Missing you over and over,
again and again

A lost glass slipper
Shouldn't mean a broken heart
A locked door
Upon the highest peaks of a castle
Shouldn't mean locking yourself away
The bullseye shone brightly of an arrow
Shouldn't lead to running away
It's the ever after that counts
Everything else before
Everything after
Whether you choose your own path
Which always tends to be the case
Just know you're not the only one
Longing for freedom
Cause remember
This is your Happily Ever After

I want to build
a cardboard castle with you
It won’t last long
but neither will we
