Play me.
Play me like piano keys.
Play me piano, pianissimo.
Play me forte, fortissimo.
Play me like a song, gently.
Play me with feeling.
Play.

Fear of tranquility
Social incompetence and
Tiresome wishes, dreams,
Fantasies of love
All bothered, shredded away
But gently like the breeze that
Strokes the clouds and
Broken petals of daisies—
He arrives rather humbly
Yet words of futures and
Springtime and laughter
Escape those gasping lips as
Hands that have seen a
Hundred lives pull and
Bother, shred away
But gently like the sea
I stick to you like a parasite
Leeching into your soul; a stronghold
My spiders web has you ensnared
When you leave I pull you back
You may find it an irritance or endearing
When I say I'll never let you go
Because aside from pretty words
You know I truly mean it
Oh no I'm not a stalker!
But if you leave me darling
*I swear I'm never going to let you go
Just a part of me I can't get rid off

You were as turbulent as the wind as you raised my wings to the sky.
Star bound willingly.
Magnetic, electric, profound.
So drawn by pulse and plasma.
Unwavering beauty in chaos.
each man must realize
that it can all disappear very
quickly:
the cat, the woman, the job,
the front tire,
the bed, the walls, the
room; all our necessities
including love,
rest on foundations of sand -
and any given cause,
no matter how unrelated:
the death of a boy in Hong Kong
or a blizzard in Omaha ...
can serve as your undoing.
all your chinaware crashing to the
kitchen floor, your girl will enter
and you'll be standing, drunk,
in the center of it and she'll ask:
my god, what's the matter?
and you'll answer: I don't know,
I don't know ...

Temptation is sweet, subtle,
Like the steady rhythm of beach waves --
Not there unless you're listening and
Watching for the sly and slick riptide.
The wait is agonizing, maddening,
Like walking along shell shattered sand --
Not willing to stop and reason
Knowing the anxiety is pulling people under.
The fall is sudden, quick,
Like the rush of a tidal wave --
Relentless in its destruction and
Scattering the power lusted as the serpent rises.

For what did you leave?
I never intended to lose
Sick and tired of the pain
Even when the songs play
My heart dances wrongly
If I’ve mistaken your love
Free me from this slavery
I’m desperate, addicted
What do I have to do?
To get some relief

Our love is a bad scene
of a movie,
passive lines, unsavory
characters
and this gaudy
bedroom lighting
wreck any idea
of realistic drama
and if the audience applauds
when the credits roll
only you
can take the blame.

The student rushed
to the Zen Master
and exclaimed
' I'm enlightened!'
  remarked the latter
   with an acuncular smile
  ' Sixty years I've laboured
that sentence I still can't utter!'
