That perfect moment when your between steps
When you dare to look at the sky
And watch the marshmallows floating by

That perfect moment when time stands still
As you watch the birds on the window sill

That perfect moment when you meet for the first time
And you can't catch a gulp of air
As you wonder how someone so perfect is there

That perfect moment when you walk under the autum tree
The falling leaves a perfect sight
Like colorful birds taking flight

That perfect moment when that first snowflake falls
Gently coating your chilly head
And you forget the winter dread

That perfect moment when you watch the children play
And you remember when you were young
And all the crazy things you did for fun

That perfect moment when you roll down a hill
As your head hits the soft plush grass
You realize how small the world may be
And your a tiny speck of happy impossible to see

Then all these fleeting moments are gone
Forgotten verses in life's unending song
Please like if you've ever felt a tiny moment like this for just a second ( or if you like my poem) and please repost, not enough people appreciate the small things in life

I miss your eyes, I miss how they look into mine.
But now they look into someone else's.
And they sparkle as you smile at her.

Every emotion played out on your face,
from happiness when you kiss her,
to contempt when you look back at me.

I see them sometimes, your bright eyes.
Next to those shining green ones.
It's hard to look at them,
cause I know you're over me.

Oh no, I'll never forget the color of your eyes,

but you've forgotten mine.
thanks to everyone who got Your Eyes trending. it's weird to think that so many people read something I wrote. I figured I'd post this one too. thanks <3

Hey you're more than pretty. You're gorgeous. You're eyes sparkle brighter than any star. Your smile beats the moon. Your hair is so much fun to play with. Remember not to starve, purge, cut, tear, stab, poke, burn, scratch. There's no need too. I don't need to see your face to know your beautiful. I don't care what the mirror says. You deserve to know the ugly truth. You will always be beautiful and there's nothing you can say or do to change that.
For every girl, guy, and everyone in between. You deserve to feel beautiful. 'I kissed the scars on her skin and I still think your beautiful. I don't think I could ever lose my best friend.

Today I'm going to stop
This ridiculous destructive thing
I've been doing it to myself
For five. miserable. years.
I talk so much about
How I hate to be controlled
but this is controlling me
I'm wasting my life
and this is my fresh start
I don't want to paint over
the same old canvas
I've already painted black
I've gone down this road before
and I could have been a killer
I don't want to be her anymore
The girl no one could help
and just watched her waste away before them
I'm no longer going to count the numbers
and measure and weigh
and cry and hate
I'M DONE
it can't control me anymore
she told me she was worried about me
now I know it's too far
what do I care anyway about all this?
It won't be very easy
but I'm not going to do this to myself anymore
I'm taking this canvas and BURNING IT
I'm starting fresh
I'm done with this
I'm finished
I need to be strong enough
for her
I won't become a statistic
under the earth in a wooden box
with only a block of cement
to prove I ever existed
because pretty doesn't have a size
and for her
I'm going to stop
Five years
is long enough

A Sickening Love
When you say you're fine.
I know you're lying.
You're my friend
I know something's wrong.
Why can't you talk to me?
You may not know it
but I've been there too.
I've been depressed.
I've been so low.
I know how it is
to be alone.
I care too much
for you to feel it too.
So please just talk to me!
I worry about you.

I miss your eyes, I miss how they look into mine.
Beautiful, big, brown, eyes,
sparkling as you smile.

Every emotion played out on your face,
from happiness when we've danced,
to sweet sadness when we said it's over.

I see them sometimes, those bright eyes.
It's hard to look at them;
afraid of what I might see.
I might see the fact that you're over me.

Oh no, I'll never forget the color of your eyes,

and I hope you don't forget mine.

Argentina Rose
You may not have been birthed in the soil,
and granted,
you will not blossom
when spring melts winters wake
but inside of you
grows a thousand gardens
full of exploding stars.
You are of the earth
and your ashes
have been constructed with stardust,
and set free with the wind.
So you may not have a pretty face,
and your body may hold stories
of too many moonless nights alone.
But if you reach inside,
you will find a forest
for a ribcage
and a restless ocean heart.
So don't ever let anyone tell you
you are nothing.
You are a galaxy
holding a million different planets,
and my dear,
that is not nothing.
