When you find joy pain disappears,
Overcoming obstacles paves the roadway clear,
Good or bad just be thankful you're here,
Life isn't really so serious my dear,
Don't concern yourself with not doing what's right,
Just take away the dark and it all becomes light,
Take the chains off your wings and prepare to take flight,
The sun always rises after the dead of the night,
Eliminate the wrong and let go of the hate,
No matter how low you go it's never to late,
Alot of time is wasted on debate,
You can be a warrior of choice or a victim of fate.

Rectify our mind sets and everything falls into place,
You can't build a life of peace on a negativity base,
The foundation for loving the world is truly loving ourselves,
You can't share joy if you don't know it as far as I can tell,
So many things that don't matter we choose to worry about,
Like opinions of others, fear of failure, self pity and doubt,
Tread softly my friend you've been through alot and it's not over yet,
If you try you'll either learn or win that's one safe bet,
No matter your past, no matter the wrong you think you have done,
You still have a chance to better yourself if you wake with the morning sun,
I wish so badly we would stop being our own worst enemy,
Be kind to yourself, be kind to others maybe then you will see.

Thoughts turned into feelings,
Pain turned into healing,
Processes of energy transformations,
Living experiences make the best revelations,
This interconnected web of overlapping realities,
Leaves alot of room for personal subjective fallacies,
Yet deep within the hearts of men lies euphoric clarity,
Words have no place here only clear sight of sincerity,
It's tough to understand this beautiful road we are on,
Life is beautiful the goal is to appreciate it before we're gone.

Put all my pain in a tarnished picture frame,
I look back on it and never forget from where I came,
I appreciate the sun more so because of the rain,
No act of love is ever committed in vain,
Too often we forget that every life matters,
Peace is up high and hope is the ladder,
We are all one and the pieces are just scattered,
They say the heart breaks but it could never shatter,
I will never find the words to explain this beauty,
I can just feel its light because it runs through me,
For so long I let my own mind fool me,
Untill I acknowledged being myself was a divine duty.

Pray for the strength to be positive through the negatives,
If you want to catch a break well first something has to give,
So give your heart and mind to everything you do,
As souls we perform wonders I just wish we only knew,
Unknowing is true wisdom accepting what we can't grasp,
It's ok we have today and it could be our last,
In a way it is because it will never come again,
And all the before and afters are really just pretend,
This moment is peaceful if you recognize it as such,
Life is a blank canvas and you hold the paint brush,
Attachment is derailment for the peaceful train of thought,
If you always want more you'll never be happy with what you've got,
Loving what you have gives you everything you need,
I am as I am this is the true meaning of to be.

A picture is worth a thousand words but a word can paint a thousand pictures,
Depending on where you stand with your current emotional mixture,
Is it really so hard to Imagine everything isn't what we see?,
But only a picture in our minds of what we really want it to be?,
Intentions are energy made manifest by the way we carry on our day,
Reality is simply a karmic dance and we choose what music to play,
There's this indescribable beauty hidden in and all around,
What vibrates in our minds and hearts came from the sky and ground,
How small we are with endless space lurking in waiting within,
We really are deep vast oceans with our bodies as layers of ice so thin,
I wish so bad you could come with me I want to take you to the quiet,
But we can only meet there in harmony once you have decided to try it,
Thoughts are like food we can pick and choose which ones to digest,
The complexity of simplicity is clarity when we finally put our minds to rest.

Woke the demons inside to find that monsters aren't real,
Just needed to sort out how I really feel,
Pigs started flying with a beautiful squeal,
Commited to compassion made myself a deal,
Between you or me I see no real difference,
Our bodies run on the same fuel for one simple instance,
Go with the flow cast away resistance,
One foot in front of the other success is persistence,
Go the distance it's really where you've been all along,
Unleash the caged bird to hear the wondrous song,
Life may not seem so short but it's not that long,
Be here now before you wake up gone.
