Dark Hello

Darkness is dusk
dreaming in shadows of daunting
hello is dark night

Dancing is ghostly
white soul by moon dearest
upon the misty surface

Waves in heavy
dreading of night windy dust
gritty is the cry hello

Dark in tremble
ghostly white is by moon
echoing the hello dark

Seldom in rage
haunting by gate of bay
to reside you dear

This world isn't yours
Nor his
This is for everyone
For all of us
Speak your words
Show your ways
But never hurt a heart

Yes, we are free
We have rights
But we have roles to perform
We are in one house
We are a family
We are equal
No status
No gender
No race

We are in a free world
That needs only love...
Feel free

Oh to to be in Ireland, the Emerald Isle
With a green velvet carpet laid before you.
Hills, as fragrant as roses, skies so blue
The Giants Causeway, stepping stones
To a land of your dreams, in single file
To a land of your dreams.
The black and the froth, in a tall pint glass
Sweet heaven pours down your throat.
The Irish, kind, gentle, loving people
to welcome you to the land of your dreams.

Five thousand of you read
My secrets
One thousand of you
Good Morning ***

How can I not mind
That you've all seen inside my mind
When nobody in my "real world" knows
The color of my eyes

We were kids trapped in ultra suburbia
A dying town disguised by perfectly lined houses
Filled with children, fake smiles, and cancerous spouses
To escape it all we rode our bikes like a teenage armada

Not knowing where our wheels took us, they took us away
We found adventures in silly things like abandoned houses and railways
All of us held hands while we sat around the fire
Coughing out our hearts quietly so we didn't wake the earth

I remember the time my parents yelled at me
For being a little too girly
Or when her mother burned her with cigarettes
For doing something she'll never regret
But in all this pain we became better people
Let's not forget the times we got in trouble for being us
Language as you like.
Be it in the proverbial sentence as I do demonstrate
or in the slow callusing of the slow scrape of the slow,
trudging hand over paper--line
by
line
by
lonely lonely line--
bye-- bye-- bye--

Dignants’ confabulation with the legal writ may render profit
but of what avail when they cannot
revel.

Rebel:
These days, we do not trrrrrill our words
or fascinate on the decomposition of lane-goo-age.
Oneway-coyish-maturation.

Be Flame
Be Boy
Be Ant

I am
die
gene
err
rat
One of my best pieces to date.  Its a little different but hopefully in a good way.  It may take a few reads to comprehend it completely.
Until the front porch swing loses all it's comforts
and all the words become blocks of ice
between rocks
or an overly sized brushstroke of black
against all this green surrounding
and all I am is cold this summer
when all I ever wanted to do was hold you
I watched beauty morph into
untouchable, I watched it turn it's back on me
I feel like I can see my skin aging in your eyes
I feel ugly, withering, dry
desperate for my eyes to weigh less
I close them and stand up
drinking the last drop of my coffee
to block the swell rising too quickly in my throat
I know that i'm using these minutes incredibly untrue
I rise quickly to let you
think more about your cons on this list we've been writing
and I go
mad
I go crazy
I go without
I draw out the blow
that inevitably split us in half
and no sunset could ever fix that
If you can't say something good
perhaps it might be best
to keep your mouth closed tightly
and your thoughts close to your chest.

Try to keep malicious
words that you may want to say
and try not to be so vicious
when you do not get your way.

Most folk can shrug off badness
without a second thought.
but to some it can cause sadness
and could be the final straw.

So before you shout
and put somebody down
don't bandy words about cause
you could cause someone to drown.

So if you can't say something good
perhaps it might be best
to keep your mouth closed tightly
and your thoughts close to your chest.

Maria
It comes down to this.

Is this worth it?
Are you worth it?
