Amber
At first you are ecstatic
Look what you found in the attic
A toy!
& you are just a boy.
So you play,
With me all day,
A month & a year goes by.
But I'm out of your mind's eye,
Collecting dust on the shelf
See he got a new toy for himself.
All shiny & red
I knew I would dread
The day he didn't want me
It hurt but it had to be.
He threw me on the curb
Not to be disturbed
Until one day
Another boy will go out of his way
To play...
Because I am just a toy.

White lies
are the
worst lies.
They
could mean
the least
to the liar
But they could mean
the most
to the one being lied to.

kaye
her scars may seem too deep for you.
slashes on her wrist,
blue and yellow
bruises on her skin
and under her left eye.

but the deepest scars
are deeper than the skin
under that layer of filth
beneath the blood and bones
lies the most dangerous piece
of humanity
that can be scarred upon.

would you like to see my heart?

Upon the cliff I stand alone,
after facing such harsh weathers,
standing up with a mighty grown,
as my clothes are torn to tethers.
Looking down at the blood I have shed,
the wounds which have healed,
the scars blanketing my head.
They are merely God's surprises,
never truly a danger,
coming from life's disguises,
from a lover to a stranger.
And yet you are different in a different way,
with words as smooth as silk,
and a voice like a mockingbird.
You wrap the wounds of my heart,
which the sweetest phrase.
I love you flew into my head,
and set my heart ablaze...

This fire burned every scar,
melting my skin and heart,
removing every tiny mar,
and letting me restart.
Send me a dark angel
Who's felt the same pain as me
Show yourself to me
Ease the suffering if you dare
And i'll ease yours
We can forget everything
And exist without sorrow
Some
people hold
onto their
pain and sadness
like a mother
with her
newborn child

It
grows as
the years pass by
being nurtured
along the
way
becoming
a part
of them

Making
setting it free
just as
heartwrenching
as
being held
captive
by it
T'is that time of year when everybody spends,
pretends to the world that peace is reigning,
winning, lying, buying, crying.

See the mother crying at night deep in the dark,
her heart aching, breaking that love is not enough.
Love cannot be placed under a tree.

Credit wins, common sense loses.
For what? tinsel and a turkey?
Baubles and gifts exchanged in the sales.

Garish lights, plastic trees,
fights in the aisles for the must have items
Belief, understanding all transferred to the neon God.

Advent calendars lie. Instead of chocolate or a gift,
let's open that cardboard door and see the rift
this season brings.

On the 1st day of Christmas a bailiff came to me
repossessed last years gifts and left
the plastic tree.

Little donkey, little donkey
little cheer, little joy,
little donkey can kiss my ***.

Jingle bells, jingle bells
jingle all the way......to depression
oh what fun it is have with discount *****

Poor vs Rich, Belief against Belief
the homeless, the food-banks, suicide
hunger, fear, nothing a man in a beard can save.

Dark Mess
When the enemy attacks,
It will be a sudden shock.
It will be certain,
To leave excessive pain.

The attacks are endless,
And sure are merciless.
Nothing can stop the opponent,
Along with its destructive intent.

It will inflict harm to its victim,
Leaving marks limb by limb;
Freezing every joint due to fear;
Admiring every cry it hears.

As the victim gets weaker,
The enemy gets stronger.
Every corner is not safe,
Will the victim ever find its escape?
In this poem, the said enemy symbolizes the things in life which make us suffer such as depression, hatred, fears, weaknesses and like.
