I want you to be happy.
You deserve the best.

"You’re the best."

Well, maybe I am.
Totally.
But I can’t love you best.
That’s what I’ve been trying to say.

I can’t be there for you
As much
Even if I care for you
As much
Because I don’t want you
Like that
And I don’t see us
As anything else
But
Friends.

You deserve the best
Kind of lovin’
And between you and me,
That’s not happenin’

I now know
Why little girls crying
Into teddies say they're
Dying.
Now I know that none of
My songs of heart-

Break were real. I had
No idea.
None.

It's like holding your breath
When you know that that car is
Not going to
Stop.

It's the chill down your neck when
You learn that somebody
Just like you
Passed away. Suddenly.

It's the feeling of knowing you're
Losing your grip on the roof of
A burning
Skyscraper. Air.

A soldier, a landmine.
Looking down to see
That your body
Is broken.
Broken.

I now know why country music
Is so close to God at all times.
Why amputees grieve over
Lost limbs.
Why girls cry and boys drink.

It's going to bed, certain that
The sun will not
Rise in the morning.

You make me smile,
    like the sun.

You make me forget;
   all my worries.

You make me love;
   you even more everyday.

You taught me how;
  to live every moment.

You are the reason;
  behind me being happy.

You make me skip;
  a heart beat.

Oh, you make me smile.
That's a poem I found on tumblr, relatable shizz. :) **

Petal pie
Juliette's back
is a shapely cello.
Her hair trailing softly
plays a deep, sad,
mahogany melody.
'La musique malheureuse'
her soul whispers.

But in the morning
she will stretch out,
throw the curtains wide
and light will shine through her.
When she speaks
her harp-like heart
will play a pretty tune.

I thought I saw you
In the shadows in the park
I looked for your initials
In the grooved tree bark

I thought I heard you speaking
Through the lyrics
In that song
That played on repeat
In my head all night long

I thought I felt your touch
When I wore that blue dress
The feel of the fabric
You stroked and caressed.

I'm sure I saw you
Heard you, felt you
Like last may in the spring
But I could have been mistaken
It could have been nothing

She was the glittering fairy
In the books,
But those who knew
Of the fairy
Tinker Bell,
Told another truth.

For hook was never after Pan
He was to hook a fairy,
Was his plan.

She had them hooked
On Dust,
Each morning
They would snort the glitter,
Then once again
Before dusk.

Those of weak soul
Could not take the toll,
Blood would seep
from there,
Eyes
Ears
& nose.

Feed to the croc
With a clock ticking,
Also addicted to
Lost boy flesh
Glazed,
Glittered,
Eyes,
Of a hunger untold

Peter Pan
He flew to our world,
Not for
Friendship
Or for fun,
But to replace those fallen
Dismembered,
Hacked,
carved,
All by tinkers wand.
They were
Feed to the croc,
When all were asleep
High on dust
They never did ask,
Where the others had gone.

Enticed by a far away land,
Those who were taken
Never again to see home.
The lost boys
In a far off Land.

Peter her protector,
From the man,
The one with a hook for a hand.
Stories sing a different tune,
For it was tinker bell
Who magically removed
This limb called hand,
To quench its hunger,
Fed it to croc
Now the beast has a
Taste for the man.

No ill does hook hold
Against Pan,
But a sword
Must be put
Through this child,
Who thinks he is man.

For hook is the only one
Who can rid this land,
Of the twisted dealer
Of dust,
Who wishes
To enslave this land.

Roger Turner - Poet
If you've never been in love
How can you know the pain
Of true, gut wrenching heartbreak
You'll suffer time and time again

Keep emotion at a distance
Don't get all sad when you see rain
For, if you've never been in love
You can never know the pain

Just how many kinds of heartbreak
Do I have to suffer through?
Just why does every heartbreak
bring me running back to you?
I've lost count of all the breakups
and the make ups I've been through
Tell me, why does every heartbreak
bring me running back to you?

There's an empty kind of something
That I just can not explain
It's a feeling comes with heartbreak
It's a void, but there is pain

Your head is stuck on empty
Your heart it feels the same
If you've never loved another
You'll think that you have gone insane

You grow a little stronger
With every broken heart
Just get out and push through it
That's the best way you can start

If you've never been in love
How can you know the pain
Remember, like the weather
There's always sunshine after rain

Just how many kinds of heartbreak
Do I have to suffer through?
Just why does every heartbreak
bring me running back to you?
I've lost count of all the breakups
and the make ups I've been through
Tell me, why does every heartbreak
bring me running back to you?

I care for you little bird
Your bill has a job to do
Peck these seeds I served you
You look little
But one day you will
Gain enough strength
Get power to the wings
And you fly in the sky
No one can stop you
Either I who serve food for you
I am jealous of your ability to fly
But happy to see you fly
Have my wonderful seeds
And gain power baby and
Fly for rest of your life
Remember me I want to see you
If possible once in a day
Or once in a month
Or once in an year
Lovely birds.. Had freedom to fly.
No passports
No immigration
No checkins
No baggage claims
No parking troubles

Francie Lynch
If years could be booked,
Our pages, lover,
Would spread between
The covers;
To lay our plot,
And the life we sought,
For a setting like no other.

Yet shifting shapes from
Distant dates,
Weigh heavy on our pages;
A ring appears
Throughout the years,
To circle and engage us.

If years were versed
Our lines would rhyme,
Metered in perfect time;
Sonnets would spring,
And ears would ring,
With cadence soft and beautiful.

Those seamless shapes
Of distant dates
Are yet to be our pages.
The ring appears
With smiles and tears
To keep us through all ages.

When words and songs
Fade and fail;
When our bodies grow old
And our minds grow frail;
When the final note
Wanes from this song,
The world will know
Our love won.

PrttyBrd
there is love in laughter
and laughter in love
timeless longing in hearts
dreaming of
eons past
when cosmos were new
lost through millennia
still tethered to you
by spiritual umbilicus
feeding the soul
nourishing the heart
while paying a toll
for passing through time
your blood in my veins
unsettled in heartbeats
still calling your name
a name unrecognized
through these earthly ears
for I knew you as many
throughout timeless years
though tied in this body
two souls bound by love
found and completed
through cosmos above
61814
Yours throughout time
