princess sword king
when I grew up I became a writer,
and at the same time all other
pursuits faded and floundered,
crumpling and whimpering like
puppies made of paper thin rose petals.

all my time is spent in thought,
warm wet puffy clouds of insight;
when I emerge in the light
of day with the mere mortals
chewing their complacency
like doe eyed, robotic cows,
my hands shake and my words run together.

I am too busy for the nonsense people call the daily grind,
that 9-5 mentality and the routine, oh the routine,
where we do what we hate so we have ten minutes to do
what we love and who we love.

Can't someone propose that we can do what we love
and get paid to do so, paid horrendously delicious amounts of money,
that would make basketball players blush and drug dealers cry?

For now I will take charge of this joblessness and settle into
my thoughts where I am free to roam
past streets filled with people waving at me and cheering me on;
I'll work your 9-5, and I'll spend a hearty 11 minutes
pouring my soul into my writing.

Sorry I'm late to work again.

Like black and white keys of a piano
Her heartbeat matched my solo chords
Together, our sync created music
Without lyrics, verses or chorus
But rich in unvoiced harmony
Singing our emotions to sleep
Amidst crescendos of fights
And playful passions...*

Guard's boots echo on stone floor
Crash of ocean pounding rocks
Roar of wind across the waves
Lost gull cries against the storm
Clang of iron door slamming shut
Key rattled lock clunking tight
Stifled whimper, slap of skin on skin
Maddening laugh follows screams
Psalms 23-4 whispered over and over
Sounds of hell slide through my bars
like wisps of black smoke in the night.

So. Wanna go out for a pint?*
That's what my dad says
Every time we board a plane
To England.

We do everything thoroughly.
Used to go every year, now
His pension only allows every
Other.

It's only right for him if he
Pays. I long since stopped arguing.
He gets tired from walking and
Sightseeing, but his eyes have that

Boyishness during it all that
Makes me believe in a God that
Rewards deserving old men with
Youth towards the end of old age.

Life is like cupcakes and pizza,
sometimes even when you think
you've done it correctly
with perfect measurement,
accurate technique...
Still sometimes it turns out to be hard and bad..
Then you'd realize
its not about the perfect ingredients
or the correct methods after all...
its all coming from your heart...
Your sincerity in doing things
and making and living your life..
So that it'll be as soft and sweet
as your cupcakes
and as delicious as your mouth waterin pepperoni pizza..
Asteroids come passing on by
Beautiful visions up in the sky
Cosmic wonders seen at night
Delivering a spectacular sight
Each magnificent feature we see
Forever in a universe that is free
Galaxies are still waiting to be seen
Heavenly bodies, they glitter and gleam
Innocent twinkling of the stars
Jupiter shows beauty, so does Mars
Keep looking at the visions above
Lights shining out, brightly with love
Meteors are coming,visiting near
New born universes,somewhere, here
Open wonders that are in their prime
Paradoxes shown from another time
Quickly passes on,a shooting star
Running on past, from somewhere afar
Space still hides countless treasures
Teaching us still, of untold pleasures
Universal feelings are what we feel
Venus, the love Goddess, is so real
Wondering of what secrets still await
Xmas of endless galaxies are our fate
Yonder, up in Heavenly skies, a beautiful dream
Zodiacal river flows from a starbound stream

Eye, reciprocal curve, spiraling, Shepard of the Circle and the Square.

Eternal asymmetry makes for Contrast, a definition for God.
From Contrast births Anomaly, makes for clarity in distinction.
For without distinction there would lack anything to compare.

What's out there, everywhere, all around, all the time.
Variety grows from a keen Perception. With blinders on, how to see Periphery?
Come now, See, Sweet Water, Drink, Be Well.

Where is your Pedestal Dear?
How to find if you remain blind?

At lamp,
When the world
Slides into peace,
On family I muse.

On a white sheet
An image ink stamps.

The trunk binds all branches
And all twigs hold leaves.
They bear summer
And pains of autumn.
Spring falls in their laps.
This, I hope,
Will be discussed in parliament
And go into effect soon.
No conservative man
Or any cleric will take arms
To tarnish this portrait.
Harmony is their strength,
Sharing their remedy.
I wish to be one of them,
Serving humanity.
see her salt feet rimmed in wet sands
wade the creek of the fishermen
gay abandoned black mystic strands
hair wildly adorned in sandgrains!

don't leave me girl for that fishing hamlet
where they count for the day's catch of fish
though times will go and eyes will forget
on the sealine your dreams will never cease!

tell me o girl your all the hidden pain
your desires winds carried to the sea
that along the creek you seek wild insane
long longed but never found in me!

come back my girl from beyond waves' roar
tell me of thousands one wish
before the tides go to come back no more
let your heart be for once unleashed!

We're still stars
Running track:
Leaning forward
Glancing back.
The timer's thumb
Is poised to press:
I'll run with you
'Til my last breath.
Across our path
Like a finish line,
Wait all the loves
We left behind.

From old to new
From new to old
Over the ages
Different stories told

Through song, through story
Through poems unfold
The victories and the sorrows
Of a life untold

Some are written
For all to see
Others kept away
For ones heart to keep

Those stories, those songs
The poems all  tell
The feelings and emotions
Hidden within ourselves

I sink into her lips as one sinks
into the soft sands as the tide
recedes gently into the jealous sea.
Locked in an eternal push and pull.
Daring me to swim into her depths.
Exonerating me to plunge down.

And all the while I tread the shores
of Galilee
in the off season,
as the suites come at a better rate.

Hark; the way to the surface is lost
amidst the turbulent crash of
this wine dark sea, which is her soft hair.
Her pale skin is the grainy sand,
And the foam that breaks upon me.
while I long for her wave to crash

I recognize her heart beat, as if
it reverberates deeply within my own,
sounding like a long forgotten love song
that I once knew all the words to
