Remember that time
I told you I'd felt
like a plant recently?
I'd gone out
and soaked up some sun
after those dark winter months.
The feeling  is
the same when I think
of seeing you again.
To hear that sparkle of a voice
the light of your touch.
You are radiant,
and I a faithful stalk of green.
not the best but I'm very happy with this piece

The orchid is flowering
Opening,
a living mandala
Next to my bed
I hear it in my dreams
It's telling me very strange things
About the chemistry between us
And what being a flower really is
And what it really means.

There's a lot to learn.

The orchid whispers in chemical symbols

I danced through the night one night
I drank water in the desert
The sweetest taste, I've ever known
I heard a sound I've never heard before
The buzzing of Chi
Blowing in
while the curtains fluttered
In the night time wind.

Our time I know is limited
Forever wilts away

But while the orchid is flowering
That's for another day

I find myself longing for the scent of the night and at least
One more dream to go.
This came as a total surprise, 100%! Never expected. We all channel our internal poet, a conduit from within, dictated somehow. My experience at Hellopoetry has been life changing  and the community we are all apart of is truly a sacred circle, for that and this moment in time, I am grateful.
The poet, well, he's sleeping now, but I will pass it on when he awakens. Many thanks, to one and all, you continue to teach me what it means to be human and an artist in this world.

Have you ever fallen into the world behind your eyes?
Tis a world beyond description, of concept and timeless colour, pure sensation.
Have you ever loved the world behind the sky?
Loved the ideas, not the people, not the grass, but the sound of green on green.
Have you ever dined in a maze of countless lies?
Seen the beauty in the words, danced in meadows made of her...
Have you ever sat and watched the darkness; the twilight, mirrored starlight?
I have and it burned quietly; quietly and softly.

Conversation begins to rise with the giggles. The irony of life is too common not to laugh. A mixture of colours scatter across the sky. Blending into one to see the cosmic eye. Rays of fluorescent light ripple across my vision. Tunes dance around us with there flowery melodies, hypnotising our moods. The sand sinks into the soles of my feet. As we move closer to the roaring ocean, demanding to be touched. Our bodies gently press upon the water. It streams up our legs leaving a chill. We walk across the shore discussing the politics of meaning, reality begins to dissolve.
Are humans the most intelligent species in the world?
I cant help to disagree, we're sharks looking for our next prey. The weakest waiting to be enslaved by our arrogance.
But you insist in our advance technology that surpasses any other species known.
If we're so intelligent however, then why do we massacre each others dreams constantly. Dead bodies thrown in ditches with our forgotten hopes. Is it smart to be consumed by an ego and place yourself in top of the food chain. What are we missing?
Empathy.
We reach the end of the shore and  draw a breath of fresh air to fill our lungs.
Peace.
The waves cease to move and the ocean extends beyond sight.
Silence.
The sun stretches across the horizon and showers us with warmth.
Love.

Lying embedded in velvet gloom and night,
You and I are gazing up the northern hemisphere.
Within the sea of darkness is the stars' stained light.

Hidden inside the fabric of interstellar space,
Might be a kind of universal truth
That answers all the questions of human race.

Sensing the pull of the universe
I feel like we're lost between the infinite vastness
That none of us could ever dream to traverse.

Suddenly you get up on your knees -
Head in the sky and feet on the ground.
“Perhaps the stars only made us feel lost,
because we both wanted to be found.”
Maybe we all are just waiting to be found:)
