White Head Phones
Blue head band
Wearing the shirt I bought her

Golden earrings
Golden wrist watch
As Golden as the sun

Feigning ignorance
In the face of romance
I think I like her

Wouldn't you?

So many strange fruits,
       In the streets.
Black bodies living in the sewers
Africans hanging from the apple trees,
Used needles on concrete,
Blood has a new home build with tears,
It's sad to say,
It's sad to say,
Children are born here.
They wonder why life became so rotten.

They line the streets
And on every  corner
One "ailment" or the other
A family,  sometimes brother and sister.

Crying in a song
Singing with one voice
All covered up in fake injuries
Lamenting about past glories

They line the streets
Crowding every corner
Always a bother
Clinging to our knees
In their deliberately torn dresses

Keep them away from us
Stop them from touching us
With their deceptive illusions
Appealing to our emotions
With empathetic persuasions
And now our money is gone.

Moving in slow motion
Discrediting the old notion
Standing still
hands on the window sill
Feeling the vibrations
Within the walls
Watching opinions clashing
As Deafening as horns blaring
No decision can be made here

Dusk to Dawn to Dusk
The same noise
Over and over again
Oblivious of the wallflower
The self appointed refree
Now as invisible and the paint beneath the wallpaper.
Who is in the right, here?

Silence, I say quietly
Silence, I shout more loudly
We're in an insomnic haze
Arguing over what we know not
They've made us mindless,
Zombies living on lies.
Wake Up!

Blowing a wind of change
The air rises
As each season passes
The weather is full of surprises
The silent wanderer,
Slaming through the gates
Its force
Almost breaking the nights and days

The cloudy fog arises to announce the morning
Same as every other day, it seems boring
The roads ahead unseen
The air as cold as ice
And dry as desert sand
And we can't see the stars
The weather,
Unpredictable as they come.

Night and day yet unbroken
Standing tall in the face of changes
We're beyond defeat.

Pagan Paul
Take a peek inside his poems
if you really want to know him.
He hides himself deep, immersed
a tiny piece in every verse.

Take a peek and take your time
savour the moment of every line.
Relish the thought of what lies there
and appreciate his soul laid bare.

I wish you could see into my heart
The joy I feel
Like colours shooting darts
Like tripping on a banana peel
Falling into an endless world of colours
An explosion right here in my heart
My feelings, all in rainbow colours
My mouth laughing at jokes by K. Hart
Laughter!
Making my eyes shine brighter
...
"I must say,
Happiness is a wonderful colour,
On you, I see rainbows"  She says.
...
I wish you could look into my mind
The thoughts flying through
An endless flow of music
The incomprehensible joy
I can't help but smile
I close my eyes, and the music turn to colours
Unrestrained it floats through
Happy feelings bursting forth
The music that never stops
...
The brighter it becomes
My whole body,
Overcome by colours
As Happy as a Rainbow.
