I love endlessly,
I am yours as much as you are mine.
Your happiness is my happiness,
Your pain, as well, is mine.
One word with a Million Meanings...

Mirrors,
You never notice their magnitude,
Until each glimpse of reflection disgusts you,
Depresses you even,
When you are miserable enough,
To question significance of breathing,
Or why being born to this earth,
Has left you to feel deprived,
When your consciousness tells,
What you believe are lies.

You are a beautiful person,
Be aware of hidden gems.

Yet, compliments of being physically appealing are avoided like molten tempers,
Promises of the sweetest nothings,
You know to not take to heart,
After all,
You know what it is that they really want.
When people find you attractive and you feel otherwise it makes you question the truth within their minds....

Here in the masquerade,
plastic faces on parade.
Truth refracted by our lies.
Masks revealing what we hide.

Beneath the mask, a painted face--
there is no truth that's not erased.
We are what we pretend to be--
flaunting our complexities.

We cannot undo the mess we're in;
Our costumes now our second skin.
We choose carefully our facades;
We pay the price to act like Gods.

Thorefin,
Therifen,
Theraphin,
Raven Angel.
I do not expect
you to undestand.

I am he.
He is me.
She are we.
We are thee,
And there are more.
I do not think
This is something
Ordinary men conceive.

All the paintings of darkness
Are not to impress upon the critics
The level of my shallow depth,
Nor are my phrasings for the sake of vanity.

It is the darkness that gives lessons to the light, of things that I am not afraid to learn.

Like a papillon in a  season of change,
I am transformed into a dark lamp,
For I  have stood in many shadows.

I have soaked up the knowledge.

In my shadow,
Illumination awaits.
I have a love for all things Teutonic.
The evocation at the beginning of this piece is of the psuedonyms  I have used. This work is new.

You had me
wrapped around your finger
but as you cracked your knuckles
ready to hit me one more time
with the anger filling your eyes
as mine filled with tears
I still held tighter
than I ever have before.

A friend of my sister's was killed by her abusive husband almost a week ago. I wanted to write this to bring to light how horrible and just disgusted I am that this happens, not always to this extreme, but it happens daily with many people. If you or someone you love are in an abusive relationship, please do all you can to stop it. It's not worth it.

The Monsters

There are no monsters beneath my bed
I see the monsters outside instead
They peer through the windows in the dark
But inside they never dare to tread.

There are no monsters beneath my bed
All my monsters live in my head
And Those who leave the darkest mark
Are those words that I've said.

There are no monsters beneath my bed
They trap my limbs in heavy lead
And when I upon my path embark
My final hope turns into dread

There are no monsters beneath my bed
I find them here instead
Thoughts swerve by
like lost leaves
scattered in wind
         -.-.-
I wish I could hold on
to the words
that echo in my mind
