Break my bones;
cut my throat.
Pull me open,
learn the ropes.

Breath me in;
taste the fear.
Shank my skin;
stand and cheer.

Kick my head;
let me bleed.
Unbolt my veins;
enjoy the read.

Gouge my eyes;
punch my face.
Wrap me up
in your embrace.
Get to know me like I do you; inside and out.

Is it the words whispered
in secret corridors
i love you

are they proclaimed boldly
from roof tops
I LOVE YOU

Or maybe love
sounds like laughter
giggles shared only between two

what if love has no noise
its beauty is similar to a sunset
seen and felt
but never heard

there is something magical,
witnessing the universe at night.
the stars tell you secrets
hidden in plain sight.

that here, in the sky,
lies the answers we seek:
there are far greater things in this universe
than what we claim to be.
wade into the sea of stars and see:
we are all stardust and galaxies.

A Simillacrum
If you're a lover, then where is your passion?
Where is your interest in me, your
curiosity of my affairs?
If you're a lover, then where is your attention?
Any given day, you ignore me for the TV.
You turn and say, though, you burn for me.
Given how you wait to be prompted,
is it hard to imagine I don't feel interesting?

If you're a lover, when's the last time you expressed
at least some minor urge to **** me?
How am I supposed to buy a charade
when I'm the one who must wind the key?
If you're a lover, why do you never write
about me, but when you're sad?
Where is your urge to hold me, as I've held
you cradled for all these years?
Don't you think I ever need protection or intention
without a beggar's plea?

If you're a lover, then why do you forget my presence
until I remind you that I'm alive?

A Simillacrum
At times in existence
What you feel cannot be described
The words are there ready to erupt
The circuitry laid inside
Is beyond description
You're allowed your own wants
You'll never know if they're wrong
You paint it, you say it, angry at night
You sing it til it curdles into bloodied screams
The reality is your beauty
Is so kind that it gets the knife
The tip drips with black instead of white
The pen is, it turns out, poisoned
With toxicity to life
You live hope. You live faith.
You are strength.
Yet your desire is forever ensnared
Caught in a cry

I can no longer hide
My soul ignited

once disparaged
I long to share it

The chills in my spine put into words

Lips on skin
Eyes filled with sin

What is this sensation

I drip colors you cannot see

Heightening my passion
Enhancing my touch

Raw emotion channeled as such

My desire aches
The color of flush
My cage breaks
Expressions of lust

I do not fear it
I can hear you blush

My favorite sound

Our souls combust
My restless soul longs for something fulfilling

Who invented you,
O critic who reflects
The lies of my body?
Our ancestors searched
for the truth deep
inside of themselves.

Please, mirror, show me
The sun in my heart
The heart in my mind
The mind in my soul
Free me from the
Shackles of discontent.

I fight you in the morning
I fight you before I sleep
I fight you when I'm lonely
In pain or feeling weak

I fight hardest during the dark
It gets easier during the light
But the grey days are the tricky
ones
These days I strengthen the fight

I fight because I'm worn out
And it would be easier to leave
the daily pain and struggle
behind a long forgotten dream

I fight you for the people
That I would leave behind
But to fight you for myself alone
The reason I can't find
