Berry Blue
you'll get my golden calm
the better and the best of me
a bright and an impossible
radiant light will shine through me
bright and impossible. I tell ya.

.you'll see. you'll feel. you'll start to believe.
.don't give up on us just yet.

please.have.little.more.patience.
It's a long journey ahead of us.
I have been so anxious lately that it started to affect my relationships. I really want to show them that I'm capable of change.

The word disappointment weighs heavy inside my mind
It hangs on my shoulders like an anchor
It seeps from my pores
and causes blood to run from my veins
The girl in the mirror stands hollow and emptied by the world
lost in the desolation of space and time
she does not feel warmth;
she cant even will hot tears to flow from her eyes
she is left in silence-
with the word 'disappointment' haunting her thoughts

Pyassa Lias
She hums to the beat
Of my racing heart
And my deal with the cousin of death
Collapses and at once I resurrect
With her laying on my naked chest
I transform into a playful child
Fingers travelling at a snail’s pace
Through the traffic of her hair
A world stricken with war
All my life, I’ve run headless
In pursuit of the look of peace
And there it wore your face
And it’s beautiful

Kathryn
I wish that others could see you
as I do, Darling.
I wish they were here with us now
and could hear Flaubert’s love letters
dripping off your lips.
I wish they could hear the tenderness,
the ache in your voice,
reading those scandals,
for a love that deep and unashamed.
I wish they could see the joy that
flashes across your face
at the simple pleasure
of a charcoal line
drawn perfectly across a page.
I wish all the world could see you;
see your mind and heart
and soul as I do,
because you would receive
ceaseless love letters
from an enamored world
that would make even Flaubert blush.
For a dear friend.

Bob
i was drowning in love
        lost in your sight
        the suffocation was
        questionably satisfying

i felt:
        safe.

        calm.

        new.

but in this newfound love,
        emerged a feeling of doubt

"are you the one?"
A poem I wrote back in 9th grade.

The Foodie One
Such strange creatures
we are -
Flesh and Bones
and Pain - and Ambitions -

From inside Desire
urges Itself forward -
Traps and enslaves
every Will in its chains.
