I don't care
what your
intentions or
concerns
may be.

At this point,

I no longer
want to be
a part
of your
outcome.

I wonder what you would write,
If you had the inclination to dissipate such woes.
What would be on your paper?
What if my persisting persistence and boastful amount of
hyperbolic word arrangements could be yours?
I would love to read your writes and write your wrongs,
Hopefully your wrongs are just writes
And not a totality of havoc carefully spaced between blue lines,
Whilst chaotic linguistics tend to rise from a certain muse
I guess what I'm saying is,
That I am curious to visually participate in a what seems to be
Something near impossible.
Unless you are me and I am you.
Then my job is complete and I can happily say,
Its not half bad.

Drifting in and out of consciousness,
As the blurred images come to light,
The ringing of my damaged ears,
Greeted by the smouldering sight,
-
Rubble all around me,
Smoke dense, as it burns my throat,
Blood dripping down my fingers,
Stepping over winter coats,
-
My anxious screams for help,
Drowned out by ringing ears,
Tripping over unknown objects,
As I am faced with all I feared,
-
The dense smoke clearing,
Bodies scattered amongst the cold,
Light captures their innocence,
Drawing out their traumatic souls,
-
Falling to my knees I watch,
As his hand collects them all,
Tears run down my broken cheek,
As I await his beckoning call,
-
The ringing of my ears fade,
The pain no longer there,
As my soul leaves my chest,
To climb his awaiting stairs,

As quickly as the ocean's waves turn themselves in
And as nimble as the ballerina making her final spin

As timely as the spring flowers come to life
And as melancholy as tonight

As agile as the lion's prey
And as doomed as the words I could never say

I love you, I love you
With as much blood as my heart can take
With as much breath as my lungs can contain
and let go.
Infinite.

I love you, I love you
With as much width as these tiny hands can hold,
With as much as steps these feet can muster
Limitless.

I love you, I love you
With as much time as this universe has.

Call me insignificant but I’ve been chasing undeveloped photographs
Down these old hallways that we used to call home when the sun didn’t look right
Locked away in closets with my heart stuck under your skin
The same old words buried under your fingernails
Sometimes I struggle to find the difference between hospital rooms and a bed for the night
And I’ve never seen the point of living by the hands of the man-made god that hangs on the wall
But the difference between then and now was that I always saw you in the dark
I traded your broken grimace for her smile and I swear to God I will never regret it
Because she speaks the same words with her mouth sewn shut
And I guess thats something you could never understand

Take me now, I am yours forever
I'll be your light, your perfect saver
Don't be afraid, I will hold you, dear
Take me, hold me if you really care.

Take me now, my whole life can be yours
I will go with you, that's my real course
Use me, feel me, I don't need a choice
Your fall, my fall, we shan't make it worse.

Take me now, I am yours forever
Just hold me tight, with strength and power
I don't want to live without you here
Wherever you are, just take me there.

I'll be the wind beneath you, my dear
Against all odds, I'll be there, I swear
Take me now, I am yours forever
Wherever you are, just take me there...

you're beautiful
not the stereotypical kind
more like a forest fire
destroying everything
yet still lighting up the whole sky
The snake hisses and slithers
Right into your mind
It fills you with wants
And fills you with dreams

The snake coils around your brain
And before you even realize
The snake has captured control
Of what you determine as your life

It bites when you deviate
It crushes when you try
It slowly kills
Any of you left inside

This snake, it's unwelcomed
But we grow accustomed
To the control of the snake
And yield to it's command

Few leave the snake, there is
No escape
And when there is none of you left
The snake slithers away
To find someone else

There is a snake
In everyone
There is a snake
And no way out
