why am i here
Daksh 4h
Back here after years
different

This canvas soaks the blood
from the same broken heart

We are here again,
How did we get here?

Box full of pencils; Paper and clay
Her artistic soul painted my dreams

I found her Told her I loved her

In my head
Daksh Feb 2022
I am made of dreams,
the world is not for me

_everything _ that's not me
I am the life that I will never live
or I'll ever be
In my head, I'm not me

In my head, I'm some person I met
or I'm with a girl I really like,
a careless 13 year old with lots of homework
and nothing to do on a sunday afternoon

Meeting everyone until I will find me

Metaphors; nested, unconncected.

High order entaglements due to a damaged brain.

Fulfiled, Afraid, confused, dreams make you petrified.

Ask yourself those questions.

Conceptualised, formulated and executed
in a damaged brain.

Tremendous courage and steady blood flow through my veins
clamp your fists and hold on tightly

I will make it through sane
on both my feet
even if I have to strain.

If its you who love me, I shall dream of you
and write about you,
from a damaged brain.

Step into you,
keep you alive
in me, young I am.

Call me weak
for needing a canvas and a pen
strong, I call myself brave.

These ***** of feelings,
I'm not ready to show,
to each and everyone I wrote it for.

Years be: I won't forget about you
I will write about you, think about you
on a rainy sunday, while eating ice cream

last felt: They call it love

I don't miss it anymore

They make you, vulnerable
Expose you, let the people
figure you out.

Find the weakness, and pinch right there
But for I am strong and fierce
For I will not shed a tear
If anything happens

I shall remain upright on my feet
and if the day darkens
I'll paint it yellow
and stand by
this creed

Frost; Snow or ashes?, her tears
rain down on me.

Floating and falling, attentive but lost
into you.

Closed the door and went downstairs
with you in my mind.

Kicked the pedal and saw you from the window
with tears in your eyes.

I will wait for you

Far away he went.
Holding hands

He writes about you,
sings about you

and he doesn't stop
neither does the people
watching him.

"And this one for this girl who loved me".

Strings had the ability to compress a lifetime of
a journey
into music.

Slept with someone else,
night; thinking of someone else.

drunk,
and a broken string.
I have loved you even though I never heard you.

These broken songs that I play and sing.

Love birds but far apart;
An online room, full of chatter, fun and
promises.

I will be there soon, I said,
we cannot be kept far apart for that long.

Offline for the day.

So this is my life
And I want you to know that the letter never reached me

My address was correct even though you doubted me

I have failed a thousand times loving myself but I can never fail to love you

And I think you don’t know that I love you.

Maybe whatever It was, It mattered to me.

Maybe you were just numb
and I was the cold

Beautiful hair; 4 am, lights in the apartment room.

The notification made me jump from happiness, expecting it was you.

I'll talk with myself through it and tell it to shut up.

A week felt like a year.

Late-night talks were never seen again,
if seen: Tell them they were good

Night talks: every day.

Can I talk through you with this poem?

I loved it when we used to talk.
The moments when you used to tell me,
what you feel about me.

Now before I sleep,
I think about you,
every night
and I let you go.
Every night.

I have switched off the fans, the air conditioner
covered you with your blanket
And have stared you unconditionally.

Teary eyes?
Walking; Eating ice cream.
Never stops leaving some of it on her face.
I can't stop myself.

I will hold you and then look at you.

She speaks; slowly, softly, inside her, there's a storm.

Holds to hope, she raises her lanterns to see the horizon.
Wears long black clothes,
has a smile that I call home.

Runs clicks and see new things and closes her eyes to find something
no one ever tried to.

I call her magic

Loves ice cream and lefts some of it on her face.

I call her strength.

Happy:
Loved, naughty; crazy

Silly things excite you.

Does ballet, taps piano keys
The room was empty

The car outside was waiting for you.

Last seen walking in Rome.
If found; Please tell her I love her.

She forgot to take herself

Kisses; showers, cold showers, nightmares, and panic attacks.

You left without saying a word.

Grab the wrist of time
and run right back.

I’ll take anything for the pain I endured again.

Just to hold you in my arms,

You bring back,
memories when the skies were black,
shut the lights;
Everything black, wet everything.

Piano keys; soft sound of those strings
unveiled many blunders.

I’ll say thank you, every day of my life
As to when you arrive,
I’ll look in the sky, and won’t ever forget
to give you back,
a smile.

Opportunity
Daksh Sep 2019
It was time.
A spectacle was yet to take place
Exploring other worlds were always facinating to me
A footprint we left, every step it took was the sign that life exists.

We were like little trinkets, parts of stars that followed the rover from behind and took our fractions of amazingness of the universe.

It was the universe that broke you.
- This poem is about the opportunity rover

Someone arrives,
To find,
That the time flipped on its knees
looks at the date, time, year
And is surprised.

I’ve been waiting for you,
my time traveller

A moment, where everything in universe had their eyes on you,
and was excepting
you to arrive
with a smile.

Black clothes, no clothes; cuffs and ropes
Those Innocent eyes kept looking at me
I already warned you;
but now its time.

So I wrote a poem with my tongue in your mouth, and hands on your body

Looking in the eyes the whole time.

You screaming till your neck hurts
And I’ll not stop till my body hurts

I treat her nicely

Snow dancing, silly things
I was shaking, praying

the nights and the cold
