Lovemaking goo
Purcy Flaherty Feb 2018
We talk about equality, honesty and candor,
dream of unity between *** and gender,
Though men can be *******, uncouth and crude.

It’s not just men that express lude desires,
Women too light their own fires.

A world full of wankers!
all love making goo.
I shouldn’t say it! Why?
It’s still a social taboo!
Equality, honesty and candour !

Lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely!
She said I am so lonely, lonely, lonely,
I  could die.
My mouth was dry,
There ain't sweetness here in paradise

Baby, Baby, baby, baby!
She said baby, baby, baby,
I  could die.
My mouth was dry,
But there ain't sweetness here in paradise.

Love, love, love, love!
Love, love, love,
I kissed you hard,
My mouth's was dry,
There ain't sweetness here in paradise.

Under the stars
Purcy Flaherty Oct 2018
I'm so lonely; all alone in my bed,
I don't recall all the things that you said,
but I dream of you all night long and I'm singing this crazy love song, Oh honey won't you give me ~
Won't you give me your love;
under the stars above.

Fold your arms around me,
and squeeze me tight.
we'll dream together;
all through the night.

And I won't be lonely; all alone in our bed,
And I'll recall all the things that you said,
and I'll dream of you; all night long
wake up singing this crazy love song.
Oh come on honey won't you give me ~
won't give me your love? under the stars above!

Winter snow
Purcy Flaherty Mar 2018
Winter snow, Winter snow;
I’ll come shining through,
They say that every cloud has a silver lining,
But it’s snowing down on you.
You’ve forgot your coat and umbrella
and now you’re froze right through!
I’ll come shining through
~ this winter snow.

You can hop from tree to tree;
Use a bag, or a magazine,
Take shelter in a coffee shop
and soak up the caffeine!
The streets are now deserted;
There’s not a soul to be seen,
I’ll come shining through;
this winter snow.

There are clouds up in the sky,
Whistling winds are blowing by,
There are snow flakes big and round,
What a sight, oh me oh migh!
Winter snow, winter snow,
I’ll come shining through,
Yes I’ll come shining through
This winter snow.

Winter snow, winter snow,
I’ll come shining through,
They say that every cloud has a silver lining,
But it’s snowing down on you.
You’ve forgot your coat and umbrella,
And now you’re froze right through!
I’ll come shining through,
this winter snow.

I’ll come shining through ~ this winter snow.

The Lotus flower
Purcy Flaherty Feb 2021
Recently I came to the conclusion that our body's are perfect, it's taken a long time!
The fact is we are all truly beautiful and diverse in shape and size.
I no longer look at the symmetry; lips, forehead, broad or narrow faces, chins, noses, jaw, eyes, cheekbones, how clear and smooth is the skin; how tall or small the frame.

I've come to realise that over time, these comparisons are a form of physical nostalgia; just a combination of shapes reminiscent of the many people we have loved or admired throughout our lives, and that our body image has become a measure of our perception of our physical self, our feelings, our positively and our desires.

I've come to the conclusion that all vessels embody the beauty of the individuals they carry; because everybody is both body and soul.

Purcy Flaherty Feb 2018
Like a star struck fool, I sway beneath the moon,
I got those weary blues, coming home with me.

Aint got nobody in this world, to sing loves sweet melody,
O’ blues; sweet melancholy blues, you’re coming home with me.

As I lay my head on my pillow and I close my eyes;
I dream there’s another lying by my side,
And I pray to the stars above, that the world will send me love sometime!

And I cry!
Oh blues sweet melancholy blues you’re all alone with me!

Brother Jake
Purcy Flaherty Mar 2018
He’s got natural rhythm, a girl in a red dress, a suit of clothes, a hat and a silk vest,
A set of brogues, a packet of cigarettes, a 20 dollar bill with no regrets.
He’s got a fast mouth, a slick deck of cards, chequered blues and a V8 ford;
He’s got jazz, gospel, and ragtime too: a carpet bag and a jug for *****.
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik!
He’s got it, he’s got Jake,
His feet will roam from town to town.
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik, Sheik!
He’s the devil with a ******* snake,
Your feet may never leave this town; not alive anyway!
For he’s on the board walk,
She’s on the board walk,
We’re on the board walk now!

He’s got mojo, see him switch and walk, a winning smile, a stick of chalk,
He’s a hot shot, man about town, his skin is sweet and his eyes are brown,
He’ll strut that rooster, beat them gums, take cash or cheque before she comes.
He’s got jazz, gospel, ragtime too, a carpet bag and a jug for *****.
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik!
He’s got it, he’s got Jake,
His feet will roam from town to town,
Sheba, Sheba, Sheik, Sheik!
He’s the devil and no mistake
Your feet may never leave this town; not alive anyway!
For he’s on the board walk,
She’s on the board walk,
We’re on the board walk now!

Purcy Flaherty Feb 2018
No sweeter flower could give such a vacant stair in the grass on the bank and it hurt in the sun, when everything had so much meaning to the world that we spoke.
Touching her skin thought the man how to fly to the girl with the beautiful arms, but flying was lying for with his hands held aloft he fell to the floor like a stone.
Now should he have given his wide open arms and grasped so tightly these leaves, when the flowers were lost and the petals were dreams that were blown in the cool autumn winds.
Touching her skin thought the man how to fly to the girl with the beautiful arms, but wanting to escape he held up both hands and said I’ve both feet on the ground today sensibly.
Senselessly the birds and the bees, they sung their song on and on!

A slave to freedom
Purcy Flaherty Jan 2018
'A slave to freedom'

We watched you sail; take to the sea in a rubber boat.
Take to troubled waters; and do your best to stay afloat.
So many lost souls, in the deep blue Aegean Sea.
The waters gently whisper, come and stay with me.

And as you slip below the waves; we wave goodbye;
It’s money verses conscience and so goodbye, goodbye, goodbye!
Then every eye watched you struggle to the shore,
We watched you knock, and knock, and knock, upon closed doors.

Another immigrant “a slave to freedom”
A nations money verses conscience; except on Sundays!
We may offer prays as an act of sympathetic generosity,
But won’t shoulder the burden like Simon!
So Back! Back! Let's not rock the boat!
I wrote the following poem, after watching thousands of terrified Syrian refugees, struggle to cross the Aegean Sea; rowing away from tyranny in rubber boats, only to find their neighbors pushing them back...

I believe the utopia we are all striving for will not be rooted in economics, but in solidarity, kindness and love.

During this time I spoke to a vicar who stated that there simply isn't enough money or room for these survivors in the UK.
(Where was her faith? when we needed it?)

Simplicity & complexity are a powerful combination.

Minimalism is discipline, the aesthetic is often pure and sensual; 'a simple joy’.
It strips the superfluous down to its essentials; it enables the viewer to contemplate the gaps and see the magic through simple repetition and gradual variation.

There is more room in our future when there’s less in it.

It's a setting for subtle syncopation, a place to break free from convention, a setting where aesthetic simplicity and abstract thought can combine to facilitate change, a space where human beings can create a tangible difference with very simple things; magical things.

Just a few thoughts.

Whilst colonialism by waring nations have steadily decreased across the globe.

(((Or until the next euro-war kicks off)))

Corporate colonialism has steadily increased, seizing power in society, using it's social and economic influence to extract resources; with little or no concern for the worlds fellow inhabitants.
That's because corporate colonial power has no stake, or little compassion for the welfare of indigenous populations or local economy's; over resources.

The super elite are so detached from reality, that they literally live in Alyssum; requiring just a small workforce and an army to realise production or the acquisition of global assets.

Our worlds leaders seemingly avoid all the negative consequences of their complicity in return for there compliance.

The welfare of the surplus population, especially those too young, or too old to work is unprofitable; and as such, is poorly funded, just enough to pacify the masses and stave off civil-unrest.

Globally there is a constant and gradual increase in funding pharmaceutical, mining and military sectors, with the support of the media machine; and a gradual decline in funding environmental schemes, health, and education.

(There may be big trouble ahead)
Nothing has changed for thousands of years.

'Sticky labels'

Each time we redefine a freedom, we simultaneously creat a new boundary and another cultural and social restraint.

Boundaries are often useful:
Healthy individuals are innately aware of what is right and what is wrong, because we have collectively encouraged them to flourish with love and understanding.

Unhealthy individuals cannot discern right from wrong, and a prison has never nurtured anything good!

Why not invest in our neighbours right from the START; pulling our communities together honestly, and kindly with open hearts.

GOOD THINGS grow from freedom.
what is true freedom ?

My vivid dream 28th Feb 2020

Since the perception of time, bored ancient malevolent entities; the 'stars makers', have been corrupting our souls with 'want'; Collectively this 'want' forms the material world, which serves to suppress the inner spark; the energy contained within the human soul.

Good souls gradually struggle free from the confines of 'want' or the material world, thus releasing and returning the inner spark to the origin of light.

Dark souls remain within the material world reborn as the 'Dark-echo' continues to expand the physical universe, thus slowly terraforming the multiverse into a single living entity.

Dark matter is the fabric of life, and the womb of our dark souls.

The origin of light is a place of contentment beyond the perception of any fearful, material being; clinging to mortality.

That's why freeing oneself from the confines of the material world, and returning to the 'origin of light, is a leap of faith.
The multiverse, and the fear of loss explained to me in a dream.

Dressed in a hat and tailcoat,
A cough and a sore throat,
He takes his coffee black.

Bible in hand thumb strum, thump,
His soul hammers out ~
on a cheap plastic drum.

I walked a mile in a dead man’s shoes !

Slow down Tom for the evenings long
And the sun an’t rising any time soon,
There’s not a dry eye in the house;
Just bells and bones and a waitress or two,
Whistling tunes that open doors;

Covid 19, A symptom too far
Purcy Flaherty Feb 2021
For the last few thousand years, humans have continued to trespass, venture into inhospitable areas, burning down, meddling, or just poking around in natures complex, natural chemical laboratories.

The more humans encroach upon the natural world; the more exposed we are to a highly complex eco system; a system that has evolved over millions of years to support a huge diversity of life in which humans play a tiny part.

As a species we struggle to survive the mosquitoes, not to mention the trillions of other diverse insects, animals, fawner and flora we are now disrupting and introducing to our populations, is it any wonder so many of us are dying.

This disease is a symptom of our consumption and lack of contentment?

7 Harsh truths
(Advice for my kids, and anyone who struggles to let go)

1/ Stop showing up, where you're not wanted and hoping to be needed by someone you really like.

2/ Be brave and let go of the people who are not ready to reciprocate your love, or show little interest in you or your company.
(If they didn't see you coming, then they didn't see you at all!)

3/ Stop struggling with people who are not yet ready to change, you have a yearning to be understood, don't invest your energy's into troubled souls, or be fooled by the appreciation of the sycophants.

4/ Don't be sorry to let people go! set them free, and in time they may find their own calling

5/ There are billions of opportunities in life without the need for modification;
"Like finds like" so be true; and just get on with being you.

6/ A good job well done is where the beauty lies, and there's plenty of work to be done.
Find something you really enjoy, and do it for the rest of your life; time is short, so get on with it, and have fun with the destiny you deserve.

7/  Be both bold and polite; be that guy.
Advice for my beautiful children.

There goes my soul
Purcy Flaherty Feb 2019
Our love blossomed from the sheets, we liked to play but not for keeps.
You set me dancing on the air,
we lived our lives without a care.

Once or twice you bought me flowers,
we'd often talk for hours and hours.
We'd watch the rain through the sky
and play a game just you and I.

~ and there goes my soul again,
I gave my all and we're still friends.
There goes my soul,
There goes my soul,
There goes my soul again.

I've seen them walk down the road,
I've seen lovers come and go;
I've seen them smiling
and I've seen them drunk,
There goes my soul again.

Once or twice you bought me flowers,
we'd often talk for hours and hours.
We'd watch the rain through the sky
and play a game just you and I.

Sketching pictures in the sand,
picking apples hand-in-hand.
We drew the water from the stream,
our bellys busted at the seams.l

~ and there goes my soul again,
I gave my all and we're still friends.

When we parted,
it split my soul in two,
half of me was so in love,
the other half was through!
Sara~
Please. don’t talk about me when I’m gone,
Even if the things I said were wrong.
You know my heart was true and this love belonged to you,
So ~ please don’t talk about me when I’m gone.
When you’re feeling lonely, sad and blue,
You know this lonely heart belonged to you.
You know my heart was true and this love belonged to you,
So ~ Please don’t talk about me when I'm gone.

Soul song
Purcy Flaherty Jun 2021
Lord I’m tired, Lord I’m weary and my soul is yours to keep!
Lord I’m tired, Lord I’m weary but my soul is yours my soul is weak!
I’ve been hitting on the drink, taking drugs, ******* women lord and fighting in the clubs.
I got two arms, I got two legs, I got a body lord, and I got a head,
That makes me human, that makes me human, that makes me human lord, but that an’t kind!
That makes me human, that makes me human, that makes me human lord, but that an’t kind!
I like to think that’s there’s a light, in the deepest darkest night,
Somewhere I might lay my head and not wake up cold and dead,
Somewhere I’ll find peace of mind some place lie paradise,
Do you hear?
This is an old soul song I wrote.

Music is a spiritual tongue,
Find someone to talk to,
Bless us with the revelation,
The sound is huge.

Flying fish fill the sonic space,
A classic romance,
Through and through,
You're beautiful,
You're handsome,
And you're a cad.

Creation has a place for everything,
Life's lesson is surrender, so let it go,
Go with the flow,
Like it as it is,
Push past the fear.

Here we go,
Here we go,
Here we go.

Here we go,
Here we go,
Here we go.
BOOM!
