WHAT IF TIME IS RUNNING OUT?
What if time is running out, there's so much I've yet to do
see the sunrise in the desert, watch it set from Kathmandu
Meditate in Angkor Wat, eat Sushi in Hong Kong
its been nearly 40 years now, you think she changed while I was gone
Scuba dive the Barrier Reef, go snowboarding and live
Make my peace with everyone, because there's nothing to forgive
Explore India like locals do, travel on top the train
armed with my black umbrella, just in case it starts to rain
Pay my parents back for everything, for all the love they shared
Find a way to tell them thank you, that does justice to how they cared
To show my son how much I love him, and how proud of him I am
and how that once scared little boy, has turned into a man.
Tell my sister she's the best there is, that I am proud of her
and ask for her forgiveness, that I was not the brother she deserved
So, what if time is running out, there's so much I haven't done
there's one more thing left on my list, to see if you're the one.

The Dutch brought art, mud and dirt of the Kathmandu heartland,
With cigarette smoke clouding the air, and pizzas in the oven.
Not overcooked, no medium rare, slight rounded, man-made
The ambiance was now of Rembrandt and Van Gogh,
Yellow with the hint of light.
Perhaps coffee, perhaps tea.
And delight in a conversation of philosophy.
Maybe you'll pay, maybe me.
The open doors swallow in the air of the monsoon,
with the enigma of ever binding books who stuck to the wall
Like wall flowers, some folded papers like petals of an unbloomed bud.
They all had smells better inhaled with tobacco smoke.
The music played, and people dance within the security of their thoughts,
The shelter for their thoughts, the flaws of their speech.
Memories, pure and bright radiated from the lamps above the bar,
Lights which come to us only in fallen stars, but wishful thinking
is dangerous.
Hence forget it like Dutch forgot the wars.
Memories are made here, where the humidity is heavy from the perfume of heavy smiles, or folded chins and forheads from a chess game.
Not hidden, no worries, around the corner.
But yet again man made.

The burning cigarette and a cup of coffee
My companions again
Gloomy day
Loud traffic
Not a single pretty girl in sight
Kathmandu afternoon at its finest
Nothing to do but smoke a joint
And write this poem
My attempt at creativity
With a mind under influence
Thoughts running wild
I could start a religion
But I'll just sleep instead.

If I were an elephant
I know just what I'd do
I'd pack my trunk with all my junk
And move far from the zoo
I'd bring with me my monkey
Best friend and sidekick Preston
If memory correctly serves me
He's a **** at giving directions
Cause I'd like to move to Timbuktu
Either that or Kathmandu
One thing is clear as long as it's not here
Any old place will do
I'd then open up a doughnut shop
Run by Preston the monkey and me
Where we would toss sprinkles on top
With banana creme in-between
We'd be known far and wide for our doughnut delights
Oh and fancy schmancy eclairs too
Yes if I were an elephant
That's exactly what I would do
Wouldn't you?

Yadda......yadda......yadda
he's dying of loneliness
Go listen to the news
They're Nine million people lonely in the country
You're all known for your coldness
Some don't even know their neighbours
You abandon your parents when they get old
Put them away in Retirement homes
when was the last time you saw your elderly mum
when was the last time you called your sister
Thank God for the GRASS being the scapegoat used by crooks
To illustrate community mobbing let us all gang up together
Now you're hugging the Asians and the blacks are your best friends
yadda......yadda......yadda
come join the club we are all mates now
against that outsider grass we welcome all
the ***** ******* are molesting women oh it's just
to make grass envious cause we've stopped him loving
talk to me I hate you no more because grass is more hated
no more bullying you just join us and help us harass that grass
don't trouble that foreign shopkeeper we now want him to join
welcome Muslim brothers and sisters come join us
we now like you cause we have somebody else to hate
hey Mr ugly come here for a hug just make sure its in front of grass
you my loner friend be lonely no more you are now a club member
you Somalian, you Ethopian, you chinese, you Ugandan no matter
everyone is friends no more hassle just hate the grass as much as us
yadda......yadda......yadda
this is politics we fool and fool you all
when we need you you are our best friends
we show you our commonality and bring you into the fold
just make sure you do as you're told and don't grass like grass
we will give you opportunities to make grass jealous
we will forge a grapevine from here to Kathmandu and beyond
we will teach you hate and poison your stinking minds
we will imprison you and make you our slaves to serve us
just make sure you give that grass a hard time and come for a prize
this is all our secret and your minds belongs to us gangstalking crew
make him lonely make him friendless and show viva democracy
You are all simpletons and that's how you will stay in our pockets
this is a union of morons by morons for morons and the crooks win

Kathmandu
a quaint, romantic name,
had wanted to go there now it is a dream.
Nepal, this small mountain country
often used a golf ball between big countries
for purely selfish reasons.
Thousands of people killed and classical
palaces are reduced dust covering
mountain tops
as a fog of sadness
Cry my lovely I can only offer you friendship.
But for the tourists who evacuated on
Himalayas’ sacred top.
Filling valleys with empty cans of beef
and toilet paper flapping in the wind,
I have little empathy
rich tourists that had to bestride and befoul
a holy mountain.

If I was a king of Asia I would give you all the gold there is
But I'm not even prince of Persia, all I have is love and dreams
Let me show you land of legends, land of honeymoon and rising sun
I am not as rich as Ali Baba, but I promise we'll be having fun
I'll take you to Bali the gem of Java Sea
Then we'll go on to safari a little south of Abu Dhabi
I'll take you to Maldives to swim in coral reefs
We'll enjoy the sweet papaya on the islands of Pattaya
I'll show you lake Baikal, Tibet and Taj Mahal
We'll see Macao, Yokohama, Hanoi, Jeddah, Jaipur, Jakarta
I'll take you to Dubai, Dushanbe and Mumbai
We'll spend some starry nights in yurts near the city of Yakutsk
I’ll take you to Tashkent where melons got their scent
We will taste all sorts of apples in the city of Almaty
I’ll take you to Beirut we'll go nuts on dried fruits
And the coffee with vanilla we can try it in Manilla
I'll take you to Kashgar to shop at old bazaar
Then we'll fly a magic carpet to the markets of Qatar
We'll see ruins of Karakorum the old capital of Moguls
Then we'll go to Kathmandu and then Karachi and Kabul
We'll discover caves with treasures, make three wishes all at once
All at once will turn to a fairy tale, like in one and thousand nights
Let me show you feast of colors, take you cross the dunes in caravans
Even if I don't look like Alladin, I sure know a thing about romance
I'll take you to Taipei to see its lovely bay
We will sip on Coca Cola on the silky sands of Goa
I'll take you to Shanghai where towers touch the sky
And the best of architecture we will see in precious Petra
We'll go to Ashgabat, Bishkek, Busan, Baghdad
We will see Great Wall of China and Cambodian Angkor Wat
We'll see the Everest, mount Fuji, Gobi Desert
And it's certainly my pleasure to take you all around Asia!

There is not much to gamble
a drunk ramble,
midnight gunshots
but the city didnt hear,
because violence is it's old peer
and there nothing peaceful
when putting a wager
a blade being your avenger
I'm balling
gambling, falling
and there is the traffic,
spills on the road like molten gold
all the smoke coming out of one *****
city a two thousand years old
Only god really judges you here
because god's not a bureaucrat
look at people and memories leer
and where exactly
is this god of yours at?

somewhere in corner
Like roses waiting for dew
I wait for your warmth
Soaked in rain
Your memories run down my spine
(Morning Nostalgia)
Pashupatinath temple
The rain drops on the golden roof
the mountain breeze to pacify my soul
The life can be beautiful
When serenity surrounds to bind us
(Afternoon Divinity)
Thamel
Crying strings, the music of life
White smoke in air
The sound of cheers
Wish the time stopped here

starry night, ticking clock
nothing's changed really!!
the hookers are helping desperate men find love
One ***** at a time
making money
a man jumps off a bridge
**** life right?
Lonely ******* jerking off
while a beautiful young **** makes love
a mother's breastfeeding her baby
who's gonna grow up to end human race
while i sit on my chair

Atlas shrugged &
shook the brains
outta Tuesday's baby
about noon
on a Kathmandu doomsday.
the Berkley Tribe,
all the like & kindly rivals
was all in an uprising
over the missing peace
& meanwhile
The Big Evil cavorted on
in the east
of everywhere.
and the They was distorting real reality
to tickle their own fancy
& pawn overpriced romance
novels off on the populace.
nevermind the **** ***
boiling over on the stove top.
foiled again in clover feilds
& the poison only yields
it never stops completely
**** for pysche
forcefield shield
of freedumb fighter
white knight
izard-fucking
grand wizards
winner gets the glittery
7 minutes in heaven
with the blister queen
licking scissors
shiva shiver
ego wither &
sizzle in a cigarette flicker
**** a filter
my lungs aren't black enough
& this isn't the end
filthy tongued
french kiss misery.
he's that crass.
& he wants to be a ******* so
Charlie did himself in the chapel&
got laughs when the rats
came to have at the maggots
in his skin
he called em both his children
& loved em unconditionally.
Only figured
he address the issue
by ******** bout
the situation that faced
him & all of us
instead of
setting things in they place.

To the left of kathmandu
sat a man bereft one shoe,
was one sandal shod
so he said to God
"oh Lord this just won't do,
I've holed my sole
and my begging bowl
has up n then gone missing,
now it's my mishap
that I've trod in crap
and I've got no ***
to **** in".

How you know him: Gurung’s label, established in 2009, reimagines traditional textiles with a sportswear attitude. January Jones, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Oprah Winfrey have taken memorable turns in his fiery red gowns.
What’s new: Gurung is teaming up with Toms this month with exclusive designs to raise funds for Nepal’s recovery from the 2015 earthquake. For each pair of shoes sold, $5 will go to Gurung’s Shikshya Foundation to support education and relief efforts.
What does heritage mean to you?
When I left Nepal and told people I wanted to be a fashion designer, they thought I was crazy. I didn’t know anyone here. But I still remember coming up to the Midtown Tunnel and seeing all the skyscrapers for the first time, and I finally felt that I was home. I became myself in America, but Nepal gave me my core. The reason I am grounded and pragmatic is simply that I was brought up this way.
What was your childhood like there?
I was born in Singapore and grew up in Nepal, where I went to an all-boys Catholic school. I was different and made aware of it. It was a challenging time, but I had an incredible relationship with my family that helped me. Trekking became a kind of escape, and I was always inspired by the Patan Museum, near my house. I still go back for the memories attached.
How is Nepal reflected in your designs for Toms, and also your foundation work?
The ikat pattern is called dhaka, a hand-loomed weave that I wanted to modernize as a digital print. Black, white, and red are very typical of Newari women [from Kathmandu Valley] and my favorite colors, which I used in my first collection. Five years ago, when I started getting all this attention, I started Shikshya with a focus on education as a way to give back. Since the 2015 earthquake, we have raised more than $1 million to help rebuild, but the process is slower than people think, and the world’s attention turns to someplace else. So it’s my job with everything I do to keep awareness alive.Read more at:http://www.marieaustralia.com/long-formal-dresses | www.marieaustralia.com/vintage-formal-dresses

Your kiss would do it
Just one
Is that too much?
It's all I've been waiting for
All my life
The softest touch of your soft lips
The feel of your tongue
What the universe was made for
Your kiss
Your lips pressed against mine
Ten seconds to define our entire existence
Is that too much?
Let me slow down
Forget the universe
Lets rediscover ourselves
I belong with you
You belong with me
And everything else that follows
Does that work instead?
Now about that kiss
I've craved it to a point where I ache for it
Is that too much??
Ok then let me come out straight
I think we are at a point
Where kissing is the only thing
Only sane thing that would lead to my insanity
Get me drunk enough to be sober again
Hear me out love
One kiss
That's all I ask
One kiss to save the world
For I might just lose it
But if you feel it's impossible
Then just say it's too much
And I''ll go kiss her instead.

Here we are again
Same place
And you are starting to haunt me
Talking about love lost
Love not found
But It feels like it's staring at me
Like that cat from the other night
Like it can see right through me
My inside's imploding
With an urge
An urge to defy our truth
The truth that I don't want to believe
But again we create our own truth
When your lips open to speak
All I can think of is my open lips
Pressed against yours
When you talk about your past
All I can do is pretend to care
Honestly love
I think I am falling for you
I wont say forever
But for tonight
I want you more than this drink
Begging me to finish it
Or the lines of *******
Be my drug tonight
Even if you give a bad hangover
I want to get drunk
Drinking you
All night
And pass out in your heaven
You can leave in the morning
I prefer to watch the sunrise alone.

I'll make you my muse one last time
I'll dedicate myself to you just this night
Come tomorrow I know you'll be gone
And all I'll be left with is just another sad song
But the days will go by love
I know i'll be fine
I'll learn to deal with this
Just drink my sorrow away with time
Stay happy!!

The world seems strange
They wont get what I feel
Honestly love, I don’t care
I swear this is real
Time just flew by
But you seem the same to me
I’ve fallen for every inch of you
Fallen deeper than the deepest sea
I wish you were all mine
All mine till the end of time
You give life to my sad existence
This worthless life of mine
Please tell me you feel it too
The chills to the bone, the highest of highs
Your touch could just **** me
You kiss could make me fly
Please tell me you feel this too
I don’t care if it’s just a lie
For your touch could light all darkness
One touch and I could die.

Somewhere in you I see the love I lost
Somewhere in you I see the love I've been aching to find
Somewhere in you I see myself happy
Free from the emotional trauma I go through everyday
A release I've been waiting for
Somewhere in you lies that touch that could make me forget
That the world exists
Where people stab each other's back just to be more comfortable
Somewhere in you I see salvation
A door into heaven where i see myself holding the hand of god
While kissing the lips of angels for eternity
Somewhere in you I see me loving you
With all my heart, caring for you
Growing old with you
Taking my last breath right next to you
Somewhere in you I see a darkness
So deep that it frightens me to explore
Somewhere in you lies the hell where I know i'll end up
Somewhere in you I see my heart destined to break again
A painful journey that I know I'll take again
A withered tree refusing to bloom again
Somewhere in you is a knife ready to stab me
While my heart screams " no more"
Please no more
I am better off lonely
Looking at the stars and reminiscing what could've been
Somewhere in you I see a pool of tears
That I know you're gonna drown me in
While I fight for each breath, refusing to give up
Though I might already be dead
Somewhere in you lies my deepest fear that I refuse to face
Yet every inch of me craves to be
Somewhere in you.

A sad tune in an empty bar
That's what my life has become
People may surround me
But I feel alone
Being without you
Is like being without me
I am here but lost somewhere
In the days when you were around
Now it doesn't even feel like home
I am hoping for better days
Living in the past
I've tried to pick myself up
Put back the pieces
But I keep falling apart.

I walk these streets, silent and still,
Faces pass by, each chasing their will.
No words I offer, no call, no cheer,
In their worlds, they dwell—so far, so near.
Let them wander where their visions lie,
Beneath the same vast Nepali sky.
Dreams of theirs I do not intrude,
For in my quiet, I find my mood.
Am I rude to pass and not engage?
Or just a soul, freeing their stage?
Each moment they craft, I let it unfold,
A mosaic woven in threads untold.
Beneath these hills, in Kathmandu's grace,
I honor their rhythm, their time, their space.
For in this stillness, I see more clear—
A bond unspoken, yet ever near.
Let their paths shine, let them be,
As I journey within, just silently.
Nepali hearts, vast and deep,
In quiet respect, their space I keep.
