Beauty
Chelsie Dec 2020
Venti, I admire,
I wish I was like you who soars through the sky.
Free like the bird you are,
Unburdened by worries,
just like stars dancing at night.

venti sits.
Up in his statue,
He admires the city,
that he built.

Venti, my sweet,
How lovely is it for us to meet,
Your green hair, your glowing locks,
Please comfort my soul, so my heart will be unlocked.

Your voice, your longing stare,
I love that you're always waiting there.
Your dreams, your goals,
I love that you'd rather be free,
like the god of wind! You fly happily.

Venti, my sweet,
stop drinking wine,
you're higher than a grape vine.

Venti, my sweet,
You prevent me from getting enough sleep.
my thoughts wander,
to your fantasy world I wish to discover.

Your calming presence speaks,
volumes of comfort,
You never fail to bring me relief.

May you sleep well.
I'll be back for tomorrow before you say farewell.
I love your antics, I love your voice.
I love that you play with me, I love that you bring me joy.

Venti, my sweet,
Come have a picnic with me!
At Windrise, for an afternoon tea.
There's cake, there's biscuits,
a lovely day, for you and me.

A picnic, with me!
I'm sorry, I didn't get you alcohol,
I worry about your alcohol capacity.

It rains.
You once asked me to come out and play,
over puddles, in patches of green grass, mist and hay,
What a lovely way to spend the day.

venti,
your beauty is like no other,
as pretty as the stars under glistening skies, its no wonder.
I fell for your grace, I fell for your personality,
how your smile brightens up my day entirely.

slander your name, they do,
but I shall savor my time spent with you.
right or wrong, they dictate,
but I shall pay them no mind, as always, my playmate.

you live in my mind,
however you like.
as long as you're happy,
I feel peace, basking in the moonlight.
this is the first time I've gotten a muse and it feels really nice..

Purple, Orange, Red and Blue,
Those are the colors I see when I'm with you.
The stars shine bright,
Hoping to spare a glance at your beauty, tonight.

"Hardin"
Chelsie Dec 2020
Di mo ba napapansin?
Anak mo, sagad na din.
Pasensya, di kinaya,
Inis ka na rin pala.

Sinong gustong malungkot?
Laging nakabaluktot?
Isa lang aking dingin,
Maglaho, kagaya ng hangin.

Saya sa anak ng iba,
Sa akin din, pwede ba?
Magaling, masayahin,
Pag-iisip, normal din.

Kung sumama sa hangin,
Ako sana’y malimot din.
Maging masaya ka sana,
Sa iyong bagong hardin.
poetry is just my emotional outlet tbh

Drip, drip, the waters are calm and clear,
You already know, its always here.
I wonder how long you can stay afloat from the depths, little deer.
"Happy right now but for how long? Until when?"

Phases of the Moon

Phases of the moon,
Of fragments that are seen,
Won’t you stop and admire my beautiful cratered skin?

Phases of the moon,
My beautiful shine and gleam,
Ever wondered why my other side is left unseen?

Dear Muse
Chelsie Feb 2021
It's been night and day,
Since I met you, that fated day.
I've enjoyed every adventure, every battle,
as long as I'm with you,
Happiness is what awaits me, everyday.

stars and meteors catch flight.
may the winds assist you,
if one wishes to roam the skies tonight.

white, gold,

my only wish is to stay with you,
as long as these pillars shall forever hold.

The Sun Sets
Chelsie Jan 2021
The sea, the skies,
Purple in hue, warm orange in my eyes.
The green, the grass,
A brown fence that’s blocking my path.

My dress, my scarf,
The breeze wants to tear it apart.
My shoes, my feet,
Its all muddy, reminiscent of what I couldn’t out-feat.

The birds, the sun,
Tones of yellow, it begged me, “Please don’t do yourself any harm!”
of light, of gleam,
it failed to reach my eyes; it was left unseen.

The edge, the rocks,
The shades of monotonous black,
Take a peak and don’t look back.

A shame that tears always held me back.

I hate.
Chelsie Dec 2020
I hate that I grew.
I hate that I wasn't someone that I once knew.
that wasted childhood that went askew,
wish I could try a re-do.

A box that might bring me to a new world,

"Sea of Night"
Chelsie Aug 2020
Now, you've made friends,
an owl and a humming bird,
kept you company,
in the dark sea of night.

In broken branches, they perched,
Broken wings, they nursed.
Made a home,
put up a bright night light.

"It's better this way. Is it not?"
Humming bird tweets,
They also sang a song, followed by the owl,
and your breath of relief.

The owl thinks,
"How fun would it be to make new memories?"
the owl danced with glee,
Taking away pain, and replacing it with  sincerity.

In the dark sea of night, they sang and danced.
in the dark sea of night, they reached the sky.
In the dark sea of night, they painted stars.
in the bright sea of night, they said, "i love you guys. goodnight ♡."

"I MISS YOU"
Chelsie Aug 2020
Imagine me there,
Making you breakfast,
In a loving stare.

Strawberries adorned in red,
Sweet and beautifully created,
You haunt me, even in my sleep..

One of a kind,
Understanding and nice.
-Come back again, I miss you.

"Hesitation"
Chelsie Dec 2020
I love my best friends with all my heart,
It just hurts when I say I have to part.
I love my grandmother, unlike any other,
I feel so sad and torn,
I was never able to give her a taste of life,
she should’ve been born on.

Pills, why not,
but maybe I shouldn't rest where my cousins can see my broken heart.
i love them so much.
I just wish they never witnessed this side of me,
just like ashes, torn apart.

"Your Tree"
Chelsie Aug 2020
Island of grief,
O island of grief
you bear the burden,
underneath a tree of relief .

was it hard to bloom in a desolated retreat?
memories.. memories buried beneath.
did you try to forget them,
before they could speak?

you bloomed. that's enough.
you made it past the pit stop.
remember it not, that's alright,
but they hold your present,
roots, hated and hurtfully solidified.

Is it better to be dead at last?
Without a child of burden,
You can live your life happy, rid of any unwanted weeds in your garden.
