She called me then,
To say she wants to see me.
I kept mum, and didn't go.
I gave excuses that I were busy,
And she heard me holding her pain.

She called me again,
To visit her soon,
She was in tears, and was desperate,
I said I'll see her, once the time is right,
And she hung up, as hopeless as before.

She called me yesterday,
Her voice was weak,
She wanted to see me, but I didn't go,
I said I'll be there in a few days,
She silently agreed to me.

Today I'm going to meet her,
She, my mom, lay there still.
Her eyes are closed and calm,
She never complained anymore,
All she did was welcome me with her dead silence.
I was seeing many girls
when she stormed into my life
broke my run with her resolve
to find her place as wife.

I was seeing many girls
when she came reined me in
halted me with all her force
determined to win.

I was seeing many girls
my dream was up to stars
when she arrived fully knowing
this man was soon to be hers.

I was seeing many girls
none of them could be wife
she knew it when she came
I would stick on her for life.

There was a brief moment of cloudiness. You didn’t see the sun nor the moon

Except for one night when the moon was shining bright for you.

You told the moon about the sun and how sometimes she was to luminous in the mornings

And somehow you were always hooked on the idea of kissing the full moon again.

Soon enough though, a familiar radiancy woke you up.

You lost the sun, but she returned, so tell me why does the moon keep coming back for you.

”So what is it then, do you miss the sun or the moon?”

”The thing is you already have the sun, so why do you still want the moon?”

FALLING

in love

Sometimes
You get hurt

Sometimes
You get caught

But either way

It never turns out
Like you *
thought
Flying above the plain of my existence
Floating not falling
Searching for a new kind of substance
Or just another calling
Something to take me higher
Above this place you call reality
This angel in my ear is a liar
But this cloud of smoke is heavenly
Surrounding me
Taking me in under it's wing
A light dusting of white
To calm the insanity
And that's just the beginning

Inside there's a growing need
Branching out through my limbs
Starting with some stems and a seed
There's no lack of pseudonyms
Call it whatever you can think of
It takes me to that place I need to be
Maybe it's a new kind of love
Reaching unknown depths inside of me
Cascading with dreams of sanity
Planting roots in my core
It's almost calming
Knowing when I can't handle anymore
And when I wanna keep flying

It's okay
(It hurts so much)
I'll keep my mouth shut
(Please hear my calling)
Go bid your goodbye
(Don't say it)
I'll be happy for you
(I'll be sorry for myself)
I'll always paint a smile
(The tears will never stop)
Go walk away
(Stay, I'm begging you)
Leave without hard or hurt feelings
(Leave them with me, I'll carry them for you)
Find your space, your place
(It's here by my side, is it not?)
Don't look back
(Look at me, just look at me again)
If we're meant to be
(Yes we are, we were, and we could still be)
We will meet again someday
(How about today?)
I am fine
(Baby, I'm so torn, so broken and dead)
I will be fine
(Oh God, I want to be fine)
Don't worry now*
(Let me be the one to bear it all)

I'm okay. I think. I should be okay. It's 2016. I will be okay.

Do you know?
Do you really know what I want?
It's a time machine.
So I could change that second I let you scape.
