adore my beauty
before it grows old
look into my eyes
before they grow cold
undress your body
before I go blind
tell me you love me
without lying
kiss my lips
before they go dry
give me a reason to live
**before I die

Fragile wings of stained glass rainbows
Endless your uncharted flight
Still I face the window staring
Praying you return this night
~
Longing in this darkest hour
Emptiness my heart does breathe
Forever more I shall be waiting
Eternally I shall believe

My heart beats,
To the rhythm of drums,
It's life.

Her words are clearly written

full of life and love

yet she is showing you
the emptiness

It's there
between the words

above ..

and below ..
the lines

It surrounds
each and every stanza

and envelops whole poems

You ..

just choose

not to notice

It scares me
to know that I loved someone
three years ago
and feel the same no longer,

that you love me now
and perhaps
a year from now
love someone else.

How will you convince a man
that his own garden is beautiful
if he insists on
looking over the fence?
Interpret it as you wish.

beware when you fall in love
with an artist
be it a painter, a singer, or poet

for the artist will
paint you
with strokes and hues
in shapes of every kind

sing about you
with heartbreak lyrics
and feelings which rhyme

write about you
with the simplest words
and a secret message she wants to say

beware of the artist,
and her love
one wrong move
and you're an artwork in her display
Each And Every Day

I try to see the man inside
When others turn away
They all pretend that he's not there
Each and every day

I bring coffee in the mornings
To help warm his inner soul
We talk about the life he lives
How his day it will unfold

I give advice on where to go
When the weather gets to cold
Knowing that the words I say
He hears but will not hold

I check on him each morning
And make sure that he's alright
Hoping that he heard my words
Found shelter through the night

He tells me that the bottle
Is what keeps him warm inside
I know that he will not let go
Of the comfort it provides

I try to see the man inside
When others turn away
They all pretend that he's not there
Each and every day
