happily anonymous
I hope our love will be like a photograph.
with still smiles and memories that last forever.
this way our love will not end, but be frozen in time

We are like a religion.
We, the tired ones. We,
the middle of the night ones.
We, the howl at the moon ones.
We, the aching.

She is like the ocean
                                     Wild
                                                    Untamable
                                                                           Beautiful
                                                                                               Free

He was a poet,
She his poetry.

He was a crooner,
She his melody.

He was a painter,
She his masterpiece.

He was a monk,
She his inner peace.

He was a captain,
She his ship.

He was an admiral,
She his fleet.

He was a laddie,
She his missy.
. . .
. .
.
Now there's no more she.
Forlorn is he.

The Quiet Poet
I shuffle my way into the kitchen,
suicidal thoughts running through my head
"you're worthless"
"you're stupid"
"you're ugly"
Thats the only thing I hear.

I grab the sharpest blade from the drawer
slit  slit  slit
It hurts
but at the same time
it feels amazing.
I need to stop
but I can't.
drip  drip  drip
My blood splatters onto the floor,
with every cut
more and more blood
trickles down.
This is so relieving.
The knife is cutting out every insult,
abolishing all of my glitches.
all of my failures are replaced with integrity.
I feel as if I were new.

With this knife,
I'm going to carve a better me.

Remember?

Remember the time, when we sat on a bench
and you spoke with such eloquence;
I got scared

Remember that time, when we danced in your basement
and you kept stepping on my feet;
there was no music

Remember the time, when I laid my head on your lap
and you were so tired that day;
you made me cry

Remember the time, when you kept punching the door of your room
I was just outside shouting;
we made love that day

Remember the time, when I threw things at you
I slapped and clawed you;
you said "I love you"

Remember the day, when you said you were tired
I begged you to take me back;
you didn't

Remember all those times, because I never will
I may not deserve you, you may not deserve me
but those memories are worth remembering

Im Fine.

There your body hung
And all you left was a note
And all it said was *I'm Fine.
We are NEVER okay. There is no such thing as "I'm fine."
