When I stare
It started to frighten me

Zombie in the mirror.
Note: Replacing “I” with “It”. Writing is liberating.

Chair Man
He made a decision to clean the factory chimney out.
Did he know it would be messy?
I look out of my window and see so much smoke emanating from the chimney.
It blanketed the fields in particulate sulphate alkali acid.

I was so happy! I could be a zombie now.
I ran down to the fields and danced naked in the grass.
I was in a real pea souper of man made chemical arsenic fog.

Right away it happened: zombification!
My skin bubbled like acid and fell off in tatters.
My lungs filled with liquid and I drowned in my own blood.
Every orifice streamed liquid, a real **** burn. Won't be using it no more.
The only gals for me will be ones I eat.

The smoke thins and I see a watery sky.
The pause between before and after.

My life and my very body have changed for the better.
I feel my teeth turning into steel shards that yearn for female zombie flesh.

I go in search of my first victim.
As I stroll thru the summer grass I see her. Mrs Peters from the farm.
She looks disorientated.

I close in.

What are we
looking for
Lost voyeurs
Scrolling thru
Each other's lives
At breakneck speeds
Time traveling
From Not present
To inaccessible
An unconscious collective
Our departures marked
By blue screen glare
And a vacant stare
Intelligent phone
Intransigence drones
The United State of
Learned helplessness

Called to Be Free

We are bound by our sins, chained by our choices
We cry out, we scream with soundless voices
We are slaves to what we love, prisoners to our desires
All we touch burns and we are ****** from razor wires
Trapped in an endless circle a cycle so vicious
We can’t find up, it is tormenting and malicious

But we are called to be free
We are called to truly see
The weights we carry have been lifted
We deserve nothing but how much we have been gifted
We are called to leave the madness far behind
To seek and know true peace of mind
We are called to rise up on great wings
To laugh in the meadows and dance in the springs
To leap with young legs for the joy of being alive
To go beyond just enough and learn how to thrive

We lose ourselves in the everyday action
We forget ourselves and lose satisfaction
We miss the point and we miss the mark
We wander aimlessly stabbing in the dark
We are the walking dead animated flesh and bone
We cut ourselves off and then feel all alone

But we are called to be free
We are called to look beyond “only me”
We can find ourselves in a breath of prayer
We remember ourselves in our Savior’s care
We can reach the goal and reclaim our center
We a full of light and life when we let Jesus enter
We are united to Christ and to one and all
To be free and alive: this is the call

Amen

she had golden hair
like a bale of hay
but more silky and tempatious

she made me dizzy
gave me a hangover every day
when she left me

she laughed like a wild cat
one that no one could tame
because she was not lame,

she was
wild

and unstoppable like a vampire
or maybe a zombie,
with her sad eyes and ciggarete who's smoke burned a hole
through my heart

i can never stop loving her
my princess, my darling, my murderer

she hurts me still
but i will dream of her till
i have fallen ill.
please comment and feedback below! thanks :)

I'm an Artist.

So I don't have to go out on Saturday to feel cool.

I can just stay in and get artsy.

I got involved in a fight at Cradley Heath
Resulted in losing my two front teeth
Then another fight and a loss of my left eye
Got into a argument on the high street at Ross - on-Wye

A bus accident followed and I lost both feet
I was running for a bus at Birmingham New Street
After this it was the time I lost my hair
It happened in Scotland I think it was in Ayr

My next body part to lose was my dear old *****
Caused by a jealous Welsh husband at Caerphilly
I was talking too much in the town of Louth
Yep you've guessed it I lost my lips and mouth

Please don't pity me I still have my heart and brain
Actually that's a lie as today I got hit by a train
The day just got worse ....
