This is a letter to you.
To the you that's had a rough week. To the you that seems to be under constant storm clouds. To the you that's feels invisible. To the you who doesn't know how much longer you can hold on. To the you who has lost faith. And the one that is constantly blaming themselves for everything that goes wrong. To YOU.

You are incredible. You make this world a little bit more wonderful. You have so much potential and so many things left to do. You have time. Better things are coming your way, so please hang in there. You can do it. You CAN.

I never truly understood before
Meaning of the word "bittersweet"
Until this moment our fingers
Cautiously extend to meet

The rush of longing fills body
Mix of nostalgia and despair
Electric passion flowing through me
Almost more than I can bear

The teardrops wet my expressionless face
I am thankful the sky is dark
You tentatively fiddle with the radio
Unaware I'm falling apart

I am trying so hard to be grateful
Each second I spend with you
The whole time our skin is touching
Wondering if you're grateful too

My eyes glisten and betray dismay
You finally notice something is wrong
Crack a joke to make me laugh a little
The happiness only lasts so long

One look at you
My hopes soar
In sinking waves of blue drown
Scolding stupid emotions for flying
I know our love will come crashing down

Yet despite desperate restraints
Expectations climb against will
So fond of you it makes me sick
Too infatuated I feel ill

The air coats clothes with loneliness
Lungs with empty residue
Stardust permeates sore limbs
Brightening everything we do

So curl up halfway on your lap
Savoring temporary bliss
The agonizing thoughts lurking in my brain
Are not so easy to dismiss

The ecstasy blooming in my center
Is why I remain here
Why does all the good between us
Have to be tainted by pain or fear?

The sizzling sensations are sweet
Presence infects my core with glitter
It's the inevitable hurt when you break me in two
Rendering me jaded and bitter

Now I realize how wonderful
Yet awful that word can be
Learned it is impossible
Spelling bittersweet without "we"
Finally one I am proud of that is semi-recent

There are times when we lose everything,
times when we feel as if the world is falling upon us,
there are also times when we just want to dive off a cliff,
and times when we just want to be away from a group of people and hide in a corner and cry.

But after those times,
there comes a beautiful miracle.
A miracle that will change our life,
our hearts open up like the wings of a butterfly,
and everything starts to look beautiful again.

We are whole again,
we are new, beautiful and we avoid all the negativity,
i thank God for those times because it's the most wonderful feeling,
to feel loved, honored and respected.

I know now that everyone has to have patience,
to see the bud bloom into a rose.
Miracles do happen

My head is filled to the brim
Packed brainstems
Maybe that’s why I take you straight to heart
Truths whispered and held in cupped hands
Like butterflies, then released
See where they land and the clarity they impart
You words are vast galaxies
Mystical, colorful imagery
Like melted crayons pouring from the fount of your mouth
Dripping into molds making wax elephants
Heavy words trumpeting sentiments
That I may never ever truly figure out
Eyes that speak paragraphs upon chapters upon volumes
Upon libraries
And I am only a syllable in the commentary
Fill the empty crevices of a heart once on fire
Long since expired
And give this charred thing new life, incendiary
Make this full mind empty every bit but you
Clear the queue
So I might feast on more than these offerings of crumbs
Minds will always be filled and filling
And full
But the the choice of what’s ingested is the rule of thumb

Wonder-filled
I don’t think I’ve written a poem that has stimulated my brain so much. This has my head spinning a bit. Hope you enjoy...

You got called to do the Devil's bidding,
Blood and bones,
It is his coat of arms.
Words are energy and they cast spells,
Its "Mind in the absence of body,
Body in the absence of mind."

You can  love a monster, Kid,
But that doesn't change its nature.
In Satan's Jigsaw puzzle
You were half-demon, half-god.
Forgotten by the world, but not by your Creator,
From the womb of the earth
All patron-saints march.

You don't have to be evil to dance with the Devil,
"One dies as he lives," they say where I am from
Burned too bright for this world
Entombed below perceptions,
Searching meaning
Where there shouldn't be at all.

Everything that's ever been said is a lie,
Earth awaits for its hero with delight.
And when you hold the universe
In the palm of  your hand,
To talk about death is to talk about life.

Forget everything you've ever known,
Start over,
A functional adult
Is merely a fictional adult,
You might not be in control of what life throws at you,
But the reaction to it entails a tricky job.

But why did you think
This was going to be easy?
This might be revolting,
But is still kind of fun.
That's a lot of heart to carry,
But, if the truth cannot be proven,
Is it still the truth at all?
Sometimes I sit down to write and let my mind wander.

Trip into a new world
Just
Trip yourself
Into a new world
A wonderful place
When your days are dark.
Just a wonderful place!
Trip yourself
Into a wonderful
Wonderful escape!

Running in the rain
Just trip into the portal
Appear where you are loved
Oh, yeah, just don't leave it open...
Don't leave it open...

It might leak...

But hey!
Just trip into a new world!
Trip
Yourself
Into a new world
Where you are loved
Where you are held
Where you can love
And nobody hates you...
Just trip!
Just wonder...
Just wonder...
But don't leave it open...
Or reality will spill...

I tripped over my own foot, and a friend caught me. Sometimes, when you trip you don't necessarily fall.
