super blood wolf moon
Venus and Jupiter kiss-
howling for romance
1/20/2019 - Poetry form: Haiku - On January 20, 2019, Forbes magazine wrote the following: "Are you ready for tonight's Super Blood Wolf Moon? A Total Lunar Eclipse will be visible from all of North and South America, and Western Europe. It's set to be a dramatic occasion, and one not to be repeated in terms of visibility for many years. However, few people are aware that just hours after the eclipse there will also be an unusual pairing of Venus and Jupiter in the pre-dawn sky.  In fact, though the headline refers to those in North America, anyone in Western Europe watching the Super Blood Wolf Moon turn red will be able to see Venus and Jupiter 'kiss' just above the eastern horizon while an eclipsed red Moon sinks in the west." - Copyright © Mark Toney | Year Posted 2019
A gorge déployée
Je me désopile.
Quand tu ris c'est Vénus qui me chevauche
Et me vénère !

Je me sens alors privilégié
Appelle-moi ton Empereur de Chine
Je suis consommateur captif de ce rire.
Rare
Quand tu ris tu éclates
Tu meurs
Tu ****** sur toi
Tu te plies
Tu te dérides
Tu es hilare !

Quand tu ris
Tous tes jardins secrets

Quand tu ris tu respires
Mieux tu inspires
Et quand ton rire expire
C'est pour renaître bientôt
Comme une chute du Zambèze
Dont on ne connait pas la source
Quand tu ris c'est le signal,
Muse vénérée,
Alors je me marre
Oxum, Inanna, Erzulie Freda

Porte-paroles d'Eros,
Indomptables et puissantes concubines
D'amour et d'intelligence,
Je ne peux décider
Avec qui convoler au Banquet des Sophistes ?
Certaines m'enflamment la chair
D'autres l'esprit et l 'âme
Et pour toutes cependant sans exception
Je bande d'égale vigueur.
"Amour, ont assuré ces maîtresses
Au disciple fervent que je suis,
N 'est ni divin ni humain
Ni beau ni laid
Ni bon ni méchant
Amour est un démon, un sorcier
Un magicien, un entremetteur...

Si j 'en crois ces rhétoriciennes,
Honorer l 'Amour
C'est désirer le Beau, assouvir
L 'impérissable désir d'immortalité.
On aime car on engendre
On aime car on féconde

Qu'on me célèbre à travers tous vos panthéons
Comme le plus valeureux des guerriers !

Your love shines emerald,
Green vines woven into a prosperous veil
Brimming with vitality, hearth and sorrow
Flowers hiss from the thorns
Buried deep in your pitiful veins
Gushing with love, your aura shines
Exalted.

Your love shines the color of wind,
Breezy and hollow,
Shroud of tangible cries,
The shrieking sorrow of banshee’s
Gushing from your veins, the crimson sunset
Turns you tumbleweed golden.

Bring me the sun, O’ exalted lover. Your heels taste of brimstone, my tongue hisses from the sweltering heat. Blisters ooze sanguine goop, plastering my tongue disfigured, acidic tar devouring my flesh. Yet however much melted flesh may drip from my porcelain bones, I keep pulling myself deeper into the vice of your love. And so, I melt. Becoming eerily disfigured, you sculpt the hazardous puddles of flesh into figures far too divine, not even Aphrodite herself could reject such an offering.

There is a lady in the night
A constellation fair
Lady of the Crescent Moon
You'll see her sitting there.

She wears a diadem of stars
Opals of bright hues
Each color in it represents
A soul who's been abused.

She, who is their patron
Lets them shine like suns
She holds them in the heavens
And cares for every one.

She holds a scepter crystalline
Wears rubies on her sleeves
Her bossom alabaster stones
A tapestry she weaves.

The crescent moon behind her
It's beams are like a flood
It is a second diadem
For she's of royal blood.

AH! You cannot see her?
No. You will not see her soon
You'd only see from VENUS

Lady of the Crescent Moon.
I hope you enjoyed this. It's written for my friend Sar, and based on a picture she drew.
I LOVE that drawing!

Saturn’s rings
are disintegrating

and Jupiter’s great red spot
is shrinking

and the ice caps on Mars
are sublimating

and our very own Moon
is slowly untethering itself
from Earth’s gravity.

In eight billion years,
the Sun will turn red and swell up

like a toddler on the verge of tears,
and incinerate

Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars—
all of our histories and fossils,

our legends and loves,
our monuments and our ruins.

You and I will be long gone by then, of course—
nonexistent to the extent

that we’re not even aware of our own
nonexistence.

Some people may think of death
as an inky void,

but it must be far more final than that—
an inky void would be copious by comparison.

What if there is simply nothing
on the other side of the curtain?

Perhaps it would be for the best.

For I never was able to avert my gaze
while driving past a smoldering wreck,

and you never could build up the courage to take a look.

When the dust clears and you are near
The air brushes a wind straight through your hair
Sensations I cannot explain, sunshine or rain,
I see you see me call your name
In silence, the desperate call, I wait each night
If the stars align, and Jupiter meets Saturn, then it is the time
The gate will open and you will meet the lover’s nest
The owl awaits and watches the hawk below Venus once the sun sets

Mars, they say, is God of War
Venus Love...
But not no more.

Mars is red, an angry shade
With knuckles like
A sickle's blade

His right hook
has some might in store
He lays her on
The threshing floor

There he whacks
The chaff from wheat
She's just a dog
For him to beat...

Mars is red
Venus is blue
Black as well
A nasty hue

Her friends tell her
To up & leave
For all the beatings
She's recieved

But she knows
That if she leaves
He'd find... and ****
With none to grieve.

So she stays down
On knees to pray
That Mars would simply
Go away...

He will not
She's bound to lose
Red & blue...
A purple bruise.

Finally she'd had enough
Packed some food
And all her stuff

Before he could
Wake up to belt her
She went into a caring shelter

He searched and searched
But never found
His goddess was
Nowhere around

He drank and drank
His days away
Finally t'was
As she had prayed

Mars hit bars
With liquored breath
He finally drank
Himself to death.

Mars was red
And Venus blue
But now she's FREE

She could be YOU.

This poem has been in my drafts for a long time. I was hesitant to post it, because it has very violent content. But something told me recently that I should put it up. Maybe there's someone who needs to read it, I don't know. All I know is that if you are a battered woman there is help out there. You don't have to suffer in silence anymore!

I was battered... ONCE.
I ran away and called the cops & that was IT for HIM. But he stalked me for 2 years before he finally gave up. I'm lucky to be alive!

The planets finally aligned
and showed me
I had the strength
I needed to set myself free
all along.
