You have a seemingly Placid mind that Strikes back with the Vengeance of a Thousand slain Kings.
Francie Lynch Apr 2016
I quiver til I shake,
I tremble,
But won't break,
When approaching you.

My heart, I won't foresake,
You'll not know my mistake,
Although my ground will quake,
When I'm nearing you.

You see, I will retake
The joys, not my heartache,
The day I drive the stake
Deep inside of you;
And finish building the fence
To separate we two.

Tragedies that make your throat raw
Injustice that sets the body aflame
Pain that bares fangs and brittles hearts
Blind rage that consumes the soul in a deafening roar
Lust that desires only the satisfaction of flowing crimson
Ugly beasts that corrupt and destroy
sheltering inside our beautiful darkness
Our passion for vengeance
And the tragedy it breeds
The Dedpoet Jan 2016
Vengeance, since you cannot
Vanquish my thirst,
Where is your power,
Where is your bloodlust?

       There is no vengeance
To carry away all the love I felt
For the One taken.

Vengeance, you cannot touch me
After the years have melted your
Full peak, and Peace grows inside
Me, fuller and larger,
The more I remember the love.
Taki Kumiko Jan 2016
The pain of losing someone you love
may be something,
But to be betrayed by your own flesh and blood
is everything,

Nothing is as vulnerable as exposing your weaknesses
to the people you trust the most,
The people you're willing to die for and you're
proud enough to boast,

And when the time comes when it seems
that everything is lost,
You become the victim when all you've tried
to be is a host,

Your greatest strength was your
greatest downfall,
You used to answer to their every
beck and call,

I guess it all comes down to just you after all.

As all is wrong, as all is known, you're on your own, your teeth are honed.
It's vengeance's hour, gives hate so dour, how it empow'rs, all to devour.
All remedies, obscurities, benignities, are turned to sin.
As you begin, fear setting in: for only one of you can win.

This lovely dance, this deathly dance, once-in-life chance, you fall in trance,
And call for death, draw your last breath, as all is set, start this duet!
Your final trial, you share a smile, a hateful smile, respectful smile.
Passion is riled, made this worthwhile, all that is left: blood, sweat and bile.

You both are free, you met your peer, now you will see, that death is near.
Without a sound, you leap around, and strike the ground, your screams resound.
All be confound'd, no way around, 'tis fate you found, you're destin'-bound.

One of you falls, and damns it all, more pain enrolls: they've met their goal.
Your life they stole, death takes its toll, you lose your soul: this dance is whole.
Oh, what a strife, with death was rife, grandest celebration of life!

She bestowed, “hero,”
Upon my broken brow,

Come the other hand that’d
caress my limp ivory ankle.

And I’d offer only tales,
The fables wrought one –

Someone, far away.

So to, the bedridden,
She’d drop a grape.

A majestic purple,
Incomparable, my tear;

And I’d offer only love,
Not to her,

But the one who’d spite.
What comes around goes around?

Poor Sonny Jim, lying on the floor
He was scared and cold and only 4
Daddy is a monster, yes it's true
But look out Daddy now I've found you
For the scared children. May they never need to be scared again
