It's finally over,
I'm breaking out of you,
You were a cage in disguise of a shell.
You were coated gold,
I couldn't see the black beneath you.
I thought you were a shell of light weight,
But the truth was you were actually not there;
To protect me neither love me.
You made me believe that love was still.
But, little did i know that love was a nonchalant tornado.
guess you don't know what true love is

The tornado is tangling me
Into a  complicated human being.
The thoughts are rising
So I can’t breathe.
I’m trying to reach the sky,
But I’m being brought down.
Because that action turned into a thought.
A thought that blew me up.

you break break break me
and then you pretend you did nothing
you hurt hurt hurt me
and then pretend that i did something wrong
okay i'm bleeding
can't you see
you've done your damage
now please let me be

if thunderstorms are to come
it'd be just like rain
i'll sway and sing tunes
along the electric beats

if tsunamis are to come
it'd be just like beaches
i'll surf along the waves
and will never seek land

if tornadoes are to come
it'd be just like wind
i'll fly my kite above
and will never pull the string

if earthquakes are to come
it'd be just like waltz
i will nail every step
and forever i will groove

if the forests are to burn
it'd be just a bonfire
i'll make tons of smores
and i will never share

if the world is to end
it'd be just a morning
for a world that is burning
is a world that is shining

People talk about Tornado Alley,

The part of the U.S where I live.
They act like tornadoes touch down every week in May through October,
Like storms go through every other week.
Like everyone’s not scared and they’re always calm.

The truth is,
Tornado Alley’s not like that.

Tornado Alley is worrying
When a tornado touches down only five miles from your house,
Your family’s in the basement,
Wondering if everything’s all right,
And if your house will be damaged.

Tornado Alley is praying a storm will pass,
The ever-looming threat of a supercell,
Swirling clouds above your roof,
The sky a nasty green and purple.

Tornado Alley is taking everything you have for granted,
Then being scared when it’s threatened.

Tornado Alley is knowing tornadoes exist,
But being thankful that you’re not in San Francisco,
Or Hawaii, Florida, the coasts.

Tornado Alley is flat plains and wide open spaces,
Not being afraid of a storm,
But of what lurks when the beginning is over.

Have you ever heard the sound of a rumbling train, when there were no train tracks anywhere near?
The wind of a tornado screeching and screaming fury and reeking havick upon a city with no warning, embarked is this memory this time of year.
On April 27, 2011, life's changed forever in the city I lived, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Home of the Crimson Tide, would never be the same.
A scene from a horror movie can't even compare as we became the victom of a war zone that day
Trees flew through the air picking up houses and vehicles, anything in it's path, as the monster of this spinning wind left nothing but the rubble and the people homeless and dead . Those that survived this wicked storm would never be the same . The destruction of this tornado came out of the sky and ripped our life away.
When it was over it had only just begun as it left a mangled city
As people walked through the neighbor hoods searching for loved ones that the storm had picked up and spit out somewhere along the way, kids screaming for their parents , animals laying dead the sound of sirens screeching through our heads. People trapped beneath their homes where they ran to be safe but little did they know their was no such place on this day when the tornado that took so many lifes and swept our homes away there was no safe place to stay. I hope to one day forget this horror trapped in my head, my best friend and I found his family in their  twisted home 75 feet from where it once set as there were no survivors of the 3 . So this time of year leaves me saddened   if you can imagine a war zone you then will see the memories in my head.
The sadness and hurt and memories will never go away . I will never forget the death and destruction the tornado left that day
