Do you ever have so many things to say,
but you don't have anyone to talk to.

If only I was there when you needed me,

and I am so sorry,
because you weren't alone.
Ever.

I got a call from an angel
Floating on a cloud.

I made her laugh with the last message I sent her.

Misinterpreted messages lost in the light of the sun.

With ears at attention there was a brief silence.

Walking through the hall of infatuation.

She made me smile.

My hearts done none stop jumping jacks since the first time I saw her smile.

I told her about a dream I had.

Changing into something a bit more subtle.

We back peddled to the day we first met.

Just before the first date, but right after the third date.

The first moment that felt like we ascended.

The way time always seems to fly when were together.

The songs that describe exactly what it feels like to deeply understand.

The breaks between the bass where our hearts completely zoned out in a full day dream.

Knowing the words to every song that played.

Selectively introverted to the world around.

A mixed bag in the variables of comfort.

An audience of denim in a world filled with leggings.

Even in silence I send my prayers.

To an angel whom answers, as well as makes calls of her own

Seashell shores,
Ocean blue waves.
Dancing fires,
Lustful airwaves.

We go through the woods,
We go through the river.
We go down the deepest lake,
Till we're lost and gone away.

We know we cant stay up,
The only way we can go is down.
Once your fears have gone away,
And you're sitting by the sundown.

I don't care what people say,
Just survive another day.
And then once you do,
**We Can Go Drowning Together
No one is going down alone. If you're going down i'm coming with you. At the end of the day guess I'll see you all in hell. I don't care at least we're together.

this is how i have chosen to show my love for you
i wrote you a poem
i haven't written in so long
that spiders have claimed their home
at the crook of my right palm
i try not to pick a pen up
just so i won't disturb them
but this is how i have chosen to show my love for you
i want to write you a poem
although i have forgotten every stored metaphor
every beautiful way to say,
'you are like the sun on a rainy day'
and i can't seem to remember
all the comforting ways to say,
'i want to be there for you'
you see, this is how i have chosen to show my love for you
i will write you a poem
because i have never really been good
at saying the right thing at the right time
but somehow
i have discovered the Lost and Found
between my mouth and my hands
where the words i have lost on my lips
have been found on my fingertips
this is how i have chosen to show my love for you
i want to tell you
you don't have to be alone
and carrying heavy things is always easier
with someone else to help lift the weight
don't you think that the world is too heavy
to be carried all on your own shoulders?
let me help
for it is how i have chosen to show my love for you
because for a while i have thought
that i had nothing left in me
but maybe i still have little pieces left
and i will find them
so you can borrow them
just until you find yours too
i hope you see
that this is how i have chosen to show my love for you
because for the longest time
i have been afraid to write
but this is how i have chosen to show my love for you
i wrote you a poem
dedicated to my dear friend, who is having a hard time right now. this is how i have chosen to show my love and support for you. :*

sleepless nights taunt me in the pitch darkness that mirrors shut eyelids and butterflied lashes,
the same ones we wish upon,
and wish away.
the hours tick on by and i cannot drift;
my mind accompanied by other things than dreams,
and you,
yes, you, too, my sweet.
imagining anything,
everything,
i suppose is unhealthy for a lonely girl like me,
though i wasn't always this way.
when i found you after journeying through the beyond,
the nights were easy,
and i'd never wake in the midst of sweat and fear,
for you were safe.
a lifeboat for saving you kept rowing back to me,
and i'd come close to slipping under the water,
but i always felt your hand,
at the last moment your hand clasping mine.
and when i would open my eyes and throat above the surface
i no longer saw that dark of the night,
i saw you,
in your light you were everything.

Oh, I'd like to throw you in the sky
and run you like a kite
Smiling as I'm watching you fly above me
Taking you to endless,
                         breathless,
                         /boundless/ heights

But, oh, my feet would tire soon
And the breeze would drop
                and so would you
And you'd crash down at my feet
And you'd know now that I'm incomplete

                                                            high
But I'd hope you'd remember the
While you're down here dealing with the
                                                                          low

I'd hope you had the courage to fly once more
. . . with someone else pulling the string from down below

I* just know that you will never let me feel alone.

Loneliness does not scare me any longer,
Or even the thought that I might lose you ever,
Virgin I will love to perish in my life here,
Except you, I will bed anyone never.

Your body is so very amazingly gorgeous,
Of a beautiful heart it's a temple so gorgeous,
U**nder the wicked sky of loneliness it gives me relief.
Another demonstrative flash poem about secondary acrostic poems that I told my best friend Pooja Shah when she needed to be reminded about the name of the *acrostic poems*.

I love myself,
Not just in the day,
Through the night too,
Of the darker day,
Xylem of my life is,
Involved in it,
Carrying the emotions
And feelings alike,
To and fro the brain,
I pity myself for
Not being emotionally strong,
Goons within hurt me worse.

I have all these pictures
Of us smiling,
But I didn't know
They would be the only ones.

You accepted me for who I was,
I loved all your flaws,
We were inseparable
Together, we took on our teenage years.

We had dreams
To escape an inescapable town
And avoid unavoidable futures
But I'm the only one that left.

You stayed behind
Though I begged you not to
And shunned me for my desire
To grow.

We were supposed to grow
Old together
But instead we grew
A    p   a    r   t     together.
For Jessica. I just wish you told me why you hated me all of sudden. 10 years is a lot to throw away.
