late conversations,
drinking wine from a cup,
and every word you say
sounds like giving up.
but you're somehow still here,
both dying to leave.
you don't know how you feel,
but it's time to come clean.

it was going so well
back when you were still friends,
but it just wasn't meant
to grow into romance.
and now you're tipsy and sad,
so tired and confused,
and every sentence you say
sounds like trying to lose.

just let it end,
for the sake of who you were
and what it meant,
although it doesn't anymore.
just let it fade away,
don't linger for a kiss goodbye.
you know it's time
to let love die.

It's cold in the morning
without you my love
as the day is dawning
with light from above.

My dreams have been of you
so now are my thoughts:
at times we all go through
our life out of sorts.

That time spent together
did not really last
because of the weather
which came like a blast.

I long to be with you
with all of my heart
and hope you will be too
like after our start.

You know how it was then
at our first greeting
for we gave ourselves ten
on that chance meeting.

It seemed our time had come
to be together
as it happens for some
who brave the weather.

Those storms of life often
are too rough to bear
and some seek to soften
the road getting there.

You had to forgive me
when I doubted you
and this I found to be
as our love was true.

The people around us
don't have much to say
they're likely to cause fuss
and then move away.

I have always been yours
since the day we met
so for us to hold scores
is not that well set.

You're my life's one true love
and I'm not guessing:
you were sent from above
with the Lord's blessing.

Written in June '24. A difficult to write love poem as it went through a few drafts right up until just before posting.
The presence of the 'Me' is only in the 'We'
For the 'Me' is absent outside the 'We'

Till the 'I' and 'You' is united as One
Till the 'Us' and 'Them" is denounced
Tell the 'We' and 'They' is discredited

The narrative will continue as is
It is in the 'I' and 'You"
That a delusional wall of seperation exists

Validated by the eyes images of 'Us' and 'Them'
Endorsed by the minds stories of 'Mine' and 'Theirs"

Orchestrated by the ego
Played by fear
For its is in this ideology
Suffering is rooted
Pain is ignited

Truth of origin is denied
Light of soul is dimmed
Voice of love is deprived

For there is no truth found of who we are
In the physical existance of what we see
No truth is held in the body
No truth is carried in the mind
For these are tools to be used
Only to serve our soul's purpose

For the error in this believe
Constructs but confusion
Inner conflicts and outer battles

As the
Heart and soul knows its truth

Yet the
Mind and ego created its own truth

With each label we build one more bar of seperation
With each bar stands another column of fear
As we build prisons upon prisons
Walls upon walls, bars upon bars

We indoctrinate our mind
We magnify the seperation

So what we see in the streets of the world
Is but a representation of inner struggles

For we have become strangers among our own
For we have forgotten
An attack on them is an attack on us
For there is no 'Us' and there is no 'We'
For they are 'Us' and we are 'Them'
For we are 'One'

For what we are
Transcends the eyes visibility
Surpass the minds perception
For we are not created by mind
The mind will fail to know us

For the truth of whom we are
The infinite soul
Divinely connected
A representation of a miracle
Assembled of love
In physical form
That knows no boundaries
That knows no fear
That knows no seperation

And let it be known
I say this to me, before I speak it out
In the hope of upholding these words
I choose to extend it to all
With love to us all

For perfect I am not
So mistake not that spoken is
The embodiment of me all

For I fall prey too
To this indoctrination of seperation
So let us all be the reminder for us all
Humanity Is Not Political.
To bare witness to all that my eyes have seen I must voice it - This is how I choose to express it. May the universe listen to this call!

I invite you all to take a moment to call the words forward into reality. This is not a far fetched floating prayer or romantic fantasy based compilation of words. It is our truth. It is our essence. It is at the heart centre of our core being of existence. Let us not be robbed of our humanity by allowing our pulse to be politicised and monetised with the delusional tools of fragmentation, division and seperation.

After the winds and the rains,
Came the Sunshine in the morning,
Like a bride before the wedding.
Earth looked fresh and shy,
And the fragrance intoxicating.
The breeze kissed me warmly,
The trees danced around me in happiness,
Flowers smiled and waved at me,
As I stand near them, waiting for you, Waiting for you to come.
But, still in the wilderness, I am,
Like an insane soul in agony,
Searching for you everywhere.
Still in my dreams, I am,
Like a floating cloud on the sky,
Longing for you in my arms.
Still in my loneliness, I am,
Like a man lost his senses,
Wandering in this wilderness.

If she met him in a different life,
Not this one,
Where he lost his wife;
Would she give this guy a chance,
Despite his failed and trying romance
With her.
Could she understand the shortcomings and frays,
And take a chance he's changed his ways.
Could she touch his skin, smile with her eyes,
And realize he's not the same.
That man died
In remorse and regret,
He did what she can't forget.
Now years later,
Could she live -
Not with a man she can't forgive-
But with a man who doesn't show
The hidden scars the damaged know.

Unwanted by me
I fell out of love to protect my heart and now I am all alone.

My friend goes, gives me

a rose from the bush, alas --

still in the bud, picked.

A shadow crossed the room
in the corner of my awareness

A cloud outside somewhere, probably,
but for an instant, I thought that motion was you.

Thoughts of you are casually intrusive.

Maybe you’d crawled into my luggage - and hidden.
There’s a complex birthday-candle wish.

Desire owes no deference to logic

When I think of you, my tummy becomes warm satin and I know,
that in your hands, I could be boneless and lusciously obedient.

For a while, anyway.

I remember us at the beach, lounging in deep parasol shade,
how your tanned skin glistened with tiny beads of sweat
and your endless legs stretched out like a centerfold’s.

Or you pulling me up out of the pool, one-handed, effortlessly,
with enough force that I briefly flew, and how you’d gently guide me down.

“What are you doing?” I’m virtually slapped out of my ****** fantasy, by Lisa, who’s standing, exasperated, sandaled toes tapping, purse in hand.

“Daydreaming,” I answered weakly, as I jumped up to get myself ready.

Has it only been four days since I left you?
I already feel tragically underheld.

you say it's just who you are
and if i love you so,
i should be able to accept it,
i should be able to dissect
my own feelings,
pour some acid
and watch them dissolve.
but you see, love,
it's not true though,
and every little sacrifice
makes me diminish in your eyes,
as if it ever was a valid
reference point.
i refuse to be appraised,
i don't accept being sold.
let go of my hand.
guess what? life ain't fair.
so take your overpriced baggage,
all your emotional damage,
and **** it up.
it might sound cruel,
but if you want to be a grown-up
you should stop playing the fool.
no kiss goodbye,
no sweet farewell,
i guess you'll never get to learn
that this is who i really am.
