the days may seem long poetry,
but ive lived more in
the words i write, than anywhere else

-Here one day, gone one night.

Racing towards a huge tower,
Over five hundred miles per hour,
Was a hijacked aircraft, piloted by a stranger.

On board were innocent people,
Young, old, along with the feeble,
All reluctantly making their peace with their maker.

I listen to you say,
Your version of me
As your debtor.

And then I say,
Me in my original version
Is far better.

A million words, a million thoughts,
We've all been here writing till the end of time.
What new ones may have been brought?
It's all I can think of, did something happen?
Am I still original or am I out of line?

A dirge of memories past, till the very last.
The rhythm sounds like 'other time folk music,'
Played to an *****-like effect,
I guess you would be able to out-do my
Eccentric best.

Keep playing that well worn traditional back-days song!
You know I was here to **** you down all  along...
