There is a certain sadness
found deep within happiness.
Although happiness is the best to be,
there are a few downfalls to it once it's been discovered.

To be truly happy,
you have to feel the pain of sadness first.
You eventually get use to this feeling,
you develop an attachment to it.

Once you discover happiness,
the attachment is not easily broken.
It's not impossible to break,
but it is quite difficult.

First you might struggle with your daily routine.
You have to learn how to wake up smiling,
thinking of the day as a new day
instead of just another day to fight through.

Then those songs you've always related to,
become so pointless and you can't relate.
There lyrics are now just words.
They are now just remnants of your past.

After awhile,
you begin to change into someone new.
But don't let this destroy your positive state of mind.
Change isn't always so bad.

That attachment will eventually fade into oblivion.
The happiness you feel will fill it's spot more generously.
It will remind you that even when we become attached to negativity,
there's always a positive alternative waiting to be discovered.

why do we always choose negativity over being positive
we choose to have our thoughts drown us because
it is harder to swim
than

Very in-between with my thoughts lately , i think i am getting better though. I haven't had an anxiety attack in a week and my scars have begun to fade from the last one

Every time you take a leap

There’s someone pulling on your shoe

To pull you back and try to keep

You from doing what you do

Naysayers!

Jealous ones,

Block-your-sun,

Wreck-your-fun

Gloom mayors

The ones who simply won’t believe

You hold the power to achieve

But they don’t know what you can do

How strong you are, they don’t know you

So we won’t let them in our way

We’ll pay no mind to nayers’ say

They’ll have to judge us from afar

For they don’t know just what we are:

No-fretters

Can’t-bother-me

Get-off-my-tree

“I-will-succeed”

Go-getters

Soon enough they’ll surely see

Just how mighty we can be

Can't you see? Are you truly so blind?
The negativity that flows from your venomous lips only further poisons the world. Don't make anyone feel ashamed for loving something or someone. Whether you agree with it or not. Love is the cure, the answer, and the light in this world. Don't stamp out someone's light. Don't feed the darkness. Feed your light and let other's lights grow and watch the world become a bright and happy place.
