Years have gone
Heart still torn
Never the same
Come back again
Closed rose bud
Thorn in my side
Smells so sweet
I feel weak
Pull it out
So I can weep
Rusty words
Once meant so much
Eating away
Everyday
Left Alone
Dogs old bone
Sadistic smiles
Say goodbyes
Start new lives
But I'm still here
Can't move on
and all this....
Because you're gone.

Blue eyes, auborn hair, porcelin skin.
Thats what you see until you get to whats within.

Within it a soul that longs to come out.
Float through the air, scream, run and shout.
It wants you to know how much you are missed.
How much i know it knows it ****** up, how it misses every kiss.
It wants you to know that it still remembers your smell.
The way you look when you first wake up, and how youre putting it through hell.
It remembers your music, your voice soft and sweet.
It remembers how much you loved the feeling of the sand on your feet.
It wants you to know, that it dwells on the past.
That its hard to move on when you left without looking back.
It has a few questions, like why would you leave?
It thought it had found its mate, another soul from the same breed.
It longs to hold you again, to rock you to sleep.
It wants to feel the way you breathe when your dreaming those beautiful dreams,
It wants to tell you that it misses you so.
It wants to ask you, why would you go?

The clinking of seashells underneath my shoe's soles reminds me that even skeletons can be beautiful.
The cadence of the seagulls repeating their calls, brings light to the fact that *** rules all.
The ambient noise that puts some of us to sleep, is the sound of the circle of life, the mating calls of beasts.
People think nature sounds beautiful until they realize that 70% of what theyre hearing are mating calls = animals trying to get laid.

i wonder
if i have ever passed by
'the one'
walking along the road
or sitting in the plane

i wonder
if i have missed him
by seconds
or minutes
or maybe a day
or two

i wonder
if the next person
i see
holds the key
to the endless void
that is my heart

but mostly
i wonder
if he is already gone
if i am never to see him
if fate has plucked him away
before he had a chance
to be in my life

will i tread this earth alone, then
a part of my soul missing?
or will i settle for second best
our edges never quite fitting?
just something off the top of my head

Dear Heart,

You beat gracefully.
Your gracious pound,
Transferring life to another.

What heart doesnt love?
Was it the sweets that spoke,
Or was it his velvet voice.
That made you jump?

Dear Heart,
I love him.
More than ever.
Do you too love thee?

What is a pout?
What is a pout if your lips
are not there to kiss it?
Non-existent.
It isn't anyone's invitation
but yours.
So let blushing pilgrims
host a wedding with
dark colors and no guests
but your lips and this pout.
You may now kiss.

She thought that no one would come.
Everyone's someone was there
laden with sweet kisses so craved.
She felt his gaze on her back,
gentle warm strokes like the sun.
She had seen him in the night,
longing's whisper brought to life
an image her heart had saved.
She heard him call out her name
felt her lungs draw fresh breath
and her tears kiss her pale cheeks.

He thought he'd never get there.
His body trembles and aches
underneath the mask he weaves.
He draws her into his chest
kissing the top of her head
breathing in golden blessings.
Every pretense leaves him then.
He feels her spirit in his bones.
He holds her tighter, closer,
feeling familiar pain pangs,
as fears' tears stream down his face.

They thought more of each other
choosing not to dwell on self
but to give rather than to receive.
Fingers tracing round faces.
Eyes locked dancing together.
Hospital stench, ****** sheets
fade into wedding vow fabric
made clean by a lifetime's love.
Wander, wander, wandering
and though neither knows to where
shared is a love that knows all.
