Poems which rhyme are written with rhythm in the ears,
Poems which do not are written with kaleidoscope in the eyes.

In your eyes, I see a contrast of hues that paint the windows of your soul like stained glass paints the inner walls of a church in the early rays of morning - a kaleidoscope of heavenly light.
A poem for my love. Your eyes captivate my heart in ways I can only hope this poem conveys.

your crystal eyes
a kaleidoscope
crisp colors changing each day
like stained glass
these patterns pass
reflecting light in a most beautiful way
one i wrote a while back

I put back

our broken pieces

differently...

So everytime you look,

you'll find a new 'Us'...

I paint myself

each time with

an untouched

part of your soul

So the beauty of our love,

is captured within us...

And everytime you feel,

you'll find my heart

fostering the love

for you differently!

Cold
relentless
rain.

An
un-tuned
late night
drumming
play.

It
cleanses
the day’s
depressing
gray.

And
brings to life
those
*****
puddles.

Where
city lights
ride
the ripples.

A
kaleidoscope
of
sound
and
color.

There's crumbs, all over my computer, all over my pants, all over
Me
Entropy, the natural state is it?
Humans attempting to force the unnatural?
The little graham ******* crumbs,
nothing keeping them together
anymore
But still, each individual crumb upon my lap houses millions of billions of trillions of
Individual pieces, that house
And so on               and                  So forth
Till you get to atoms
And eventually,
quarks

But, is it worth,
Looking, thinking, so infinitesimally small
When,
We've got bigger matters on our plate?
Things so large, red, and shiny, that they take up all the space
Except the little cracks that we miss,
Forget,
Or don't care about altogether

Because we've got bigger fish to fry

Right?
But then,
If we always keep chasing the dragon,
Won't we miss the shooting star lighting up the sky for just a moment?
As I was writing this I found multiple surprisings interpretations. That's why I gave it that title, it's filled with meaning yet a random mess at the same time.

Rocking your head back and forth
Disbelieving faces stare
As you cry for mercy
Quietly going insane

Dropped through the hole
Feeling nothing at all
As you saw what the world could be
Reality and fantasy kaleidoscoping

When you awoke--
The brightness was gone
Vanished from your mind
And your ideas seemed inconceivable
--to the others

Oh, the others
The disbelievers
The skeptics
The ones that refused to open their mind

Possibility spreads like a tree from a single root
But they are unable to see it
Instead, they dismiss you
Send you to the sanitarium
Where your screams of madness can be heard
Even today
