Leaf  of the trees
Rounding the apples
Under the rain
Sound of the battles
Rain on the umbrella
Pain for the gain
I see beauty
In all this wretched game
In the liars game
The only way to win
Is to trust them fully
And be stupid as you can be
The only way to win
Is to lose all the rights
To win what's left
Those written on the walls
Drawing a paint
Painting a draw
Are we playing still
Or are we back to life

Does ignorance equal innocence?

The sun is a lie; the truth is here, inside
Yet you refuse to take your sunglasses off

He has forever treated you kindly
"He's innocent," you say
I show you the proof against him
"He's innocent," you say?

Take your sunglasses off
They're protecting you from the truth
You are ignorant, you are blind
You are living in a lie

Don't let his warming rays touch your heart
He's trying to trick you
He'll warm it up until it boils
And you still wear your sunglasses

He never harmed you specifically
"He did nothing wrong."
I tell you what he did.
"He did nothing wrong."

Does innocence equal ignorance?

I could never be a lawyer,
Not because I couldn't lie.
I can lie plenty,
Whether or not it's right.

But I couldn't stand to see,
When an innocent victim.
Gets blamed,
And there was nothing I could do,
Because the judge can't see.
I don't know how they do it.
My talisman was destroyed
by a sorcerer, who, much annoyed,
bade me worship only him.
I worship not a lowly man
who lacks the power to understand
beauty beyond the realm of man.

Plato’s archetypes are real
in our creations and what we feel.

The innocence of childhood play
The setting sun at end of day
The work of every artist great
Brings me to a better fate

My talisman returned to me
Resurrected, in a different guise.
There is somewhere of no lies,
only adamantine ties.
Where love is indivisible from art
and only death tears us apart.

As a child to be a fool
To think the world outside is
always colourful

Inside a bubble
With walls of iridescence
Sheltered in a world of ignorance

But I know it's a privilege
to grow up so naive,
And nothing really prepares you
for the world outside

In an open field
it meets you - a wind so harsh
The umbrella in your hand
has now flown apart

Then the sharp sunlight hits your eyes
You catch glimpses of iridescence in its light
And that's when you truly begin to empathize
with the ones who came before and
all that your parents have sacrificed

This poem reflects the innocence and joy of childhood that we often forget as we grow older."
Jucan Mircea Jan 7
Midst the lorn, forsaken land of living,
Came upon, a lonely girl.
To this wasteland she was giving
Purpose, brightness like a pearl.

Fire burning, souls alike,
Both with tears and hearts with spikes.
Tried their shot at ****** love.
What was thought, a peaceful dove.

Made of ice, then made of fire,
Each fought so hard this endless war.
One day low, then one day higher,
No matter what, they yearned for more.

So hear me darling,
My silver lining,
When you feel you are of coal
Please remember,

You're my diamond,
And you save this empty soul.
First love can be so overwhelming and painful, especially if it's between two young and incompatible beings. As much as they wish things could work out, the unfortunate truth always keeps catching up to them. This is a poem conveying such love. Showing both the good, and the bad. Yet love prevails, for now...

Wisdom spills like morning light
From youthful lips untouched by spite,
Pure and simple, crystal clear,
With virtue adults long to hear.

Why is the sky grey and blue?
Why is there a shadow over the moon?
Questions that we've long forgotten,
Wrapped in wonder, freshly gotten.

They see the world with untrained eyes,
No filters yet to cloud their skies,
No prejudice to dim their sight,
Just raw perception and pure delight.

In their logic, direct and true,
Lives the insight we once knew,
Before the world grew complicated,
Before our minds were educated.

So when curious children do speak,
Their random thoughts, pure and unique,
For in their words, both odd and sage,
Lies innocence that vanishes as we age.

The amethyst of her eyes writhed with maggots, laden in bile,
Spilling from the crystal in macerating clumps, thick and vile.

Squelching across her pupils, clouding her sclarea, they thrashed vehemently,
Glazing her cherubic face in the pulsing sludge of larvae beneath a peach tree.

The creatures tore apart her pores, crawling out, parasites moulding her skin,
Leaving a mottled rot gilding her features in divine black sin.
Up for interpretation but I originally wrote this piece as a metaphor for the corruption of childhood innocence and loss of naiveite. But feel free to read as you please, I'd love to hear what you think of it! <3
