My childhood
Born and died on a hook called quietness
In the stillness growing with contemplative reverence
Until meadow flowers and cattails calm
Burst forth with artistic being again
And now, having been adopted and reborn on the same mountain breeze
My perspective has changed me entirely
To adopt the sun as quite my own
And in moonlight see, to forgive the Father
For as dirt is dead and dies eternally
So the seed breaths quietly, living on in life and death
To reflect the stillwaters on the aspiring breeze
It ends as it began
Quietly
Indefinitely, Me
Dream Jul 2019
And when death comes my way.
I want to feel every breath.
I want to remember every second spent with you.
I want to hear your heartbeat as mine begins to stop.
I want to comfort you and tell you that I'm alright, even though I'm not.
I want to hear your voice for the last time.
I want to see your face before my eyes.
I want to meet your soul and mind for the last time.
I want to tell you I love you on my deathbed.
And I want to hear you say "I love you too" before I close my eyes.
For the last time.
Just a poem, For when I die. For you my love,This is what i want.

And when i die.
Let me go.

**** my thoughts.
And don't think of my ghost.

Don't let me come back as tears In your eyes.
Just let me go and don't think twice.

Don't think of me when you're at home.
Don't think of me when you're on the road.

Remove all my memories.
Erase all my photos.

Delete my poems and
Destroy my phone.

**** me in your mind.
And never think about me twice.

And when I go,
Release all your anger.

Just let it be.
Don't get angry.

I know how you can be.
You won't shed a tear but you'll cry on the inside heavily.

Don't let your anger take over.
Just forget about me. I was just a lover...
I think of you as I type, poems on death with tears falling down my eyes. Even if death could be stopped I wouldn't try. Because eternity with you would be better after life.

I've been waiting for Death to come knocking-
On my front door, oh I've seen him stalking,
The lock is dusty, the screen door is creaking,
I think I hear him speaking,

And he says-

I've been patient; I'm Death, walking-
Down every side street, I hear people talking,
God, money, drugs while their life blood is leaking,
Nothing on Earth can stop me from seeking.

I hear Death, he's outside talking-
I walk out, the porch swing is rocking,
The chains are rusty and his voice is thinning,
I'm weak, he's at the beginning,

And we say-

I've been waiting for Death to come knocking-
On my front door, oh I've seen him stalking,
The lock is dusty, the screen door is creaking,
I think I hear him speaking.

I slipped

I slipped and fell so fast,
It was embarrassing.
You laughed asking if I was okay,
But no I just fall over things.

My biggest fall was for you.

It didn't hurt at first,
I didn't realise it quick,
Until your smile was my world,
Without it, it was sick.

There was a drop.

So fast and low,
My love for you found no bounds,
I didn't think to let you go.

I fell

I fell so fast and deep,
Your eyes suffocating me,
Now I must give what I keep,
Ending love what needed to be free.

You said you were tired
And I was too
But I didn't want to let go
Because it meant I'd lose you.

Yes we were mature,
Enough to be friends,
But did we want that?
It still felt like the end.

Here we are sitting,
On the bench, in our park,
Talking about anything,
Even when it was dark.

The lamps turned on,
Flashing lights of cars,
We went our separate ways,
Knowing love could never be ours.

For now, life is great.
Just be happy.
Because "for now" does not last
forever.

When all I try
And all I do
Falls down like sand
Midst castle molds

With knees
Red and worn

And eyes
Read and worn

I will dig the softly sudden earth
And build myself
A castle new

Never to be torn down
In this life
