It is raining again today
Everything is wet
Everything is heavy
Sun has vanished in the gray sky
Everything is murky
But no one else is bothered by it because
The monsoon resides in me.
...
Perhaps not all clouds have a silver lining.

What should I do
when my heart
feels so heavy?
I am not much of
a weight lifter,
I do not know
how to raise it
from the ashes
and bring it back to life.

My eyes burn
My hands clench
My skin tears
My chest bursts
My pain screams
My rage grows

It stops

My eyes deaden
My hands release
My skin burning
My chest heavy
My pain hidden
My rage buried
Dissociation is something I deal with daily

Head pounding
Like rainclouds
Filled to burst
With dark thoughts

Chest aching
Like her arms
Weeping red
And throbbing

Tears running
Like her dreams
Ever farther
From her grasp

Heart breaking
So much like
The promises
To herself
It rains. It pours.
It breaks. Once more.

my head is heavy
and falls back
sometimes on my left
sometimes in my front

i bang it on walls
and i drag it in the dirt
i pull out its hair
or try to rip it of its neck

my head is heavy
i don't want it
it pulls me down
and doesn't love me

i want to smash it open
and allow my ghost to flee
i want to get rid of it
so it can finally let me sleep
my head is killing me

Rain can be as beautiful as it can be dangerous.
While sun is warm and bright on the surface.

Hail is loud and hectic and much
As wind can be fast and hurt from its touch

Fog is mysterious
A tornado is serious

Cyclones will swirl
Hurricanes will whirl

Snow is gorgeous in all different ways...

But sleet is heavy and melted; with a sadness that stays

Fit
Fits of hyper-venti-lation
With no seemingly logical explanation.

All you’ve done is say those six sharp words,
That are now stabbing you in the back, just like swords.

Your thoughts jumbled up in a giant mess,
Lost in all of the dark, heavy stress.

And it’s all pressed
On your quivering, fragile chest.

It feels like a never ending pit.
No one seems to understand it.

And now all you’re left with,
is that dizzy-making, stomach-churning hell of a fit
