Forbidden love
As crazy as it may seem
It's the truth
For many who dream
Love is forbidden
For true hearts alone
Who fear
The society,religion
And people alone
They are bound by
Cultures and torn by
Religion but think of it
This way does this really
Matter when in love ?
Bound by chains am I
Forbidden by millions
Is my love
But it would it matter
If we truly believe
That true love is priceless
We often teach children
To love one and other
But do we tell them
As to which kind of person to love
White, dark or any other ?
Poor ,rich or the simple ?
Forbidden by shades of colour
Forbidden by wealth
And pieces of paper
Forbidden to love one and other
It this Why we often
Are scared to fall in love ?

Oh love are we so blind
That we cannot truly
Know your worth
We underestimate
You and cut you down
For mere pleasure
Is this why you fail to give
The truth of love
To one and all?
can love be forbidden?

It's 9:17.
It's night
And I still go to bed crying
With you on my mind
and I still go to bed in agony
of the memories I refind
and I still go to bed writing poems filled with pain
because of a constant loss

This loss that remains is constant
and the thought of you stays and is stagnant
The suffering wallows me and the depression follows lead
It's been over a year and honestly I fear that maybe im insane to even shed a tear
and to think you dont even have a sense of the time, it's been a year
and when I speak, you barely ever even want to hear

you're wallowing in your own self-doubt and love stories
not thinking about the doubt that you leave in others
what love stories you are a part of and the perspective that they may lead, following you
I remember always rhyming love with true and love with you and quite differently than my heart may tell
true love doesn't come with you, you aren't true, you can't even find truth and meaning in the one constant that you
always fall back to

So she settled for something as simple as a hug.
For even if it could not be,
All she ever wanted was to get close to his heart.
And she knew that it was the nearest she could get.

It was the good nights and good mornings,
The good byes and hellos,
And the silent stares and smiles of what cannot be
That made things still seem so perfect.

You were never a distraction from my everyday life, you were an eye opening welcomed smile to my mornings and a pick me up in the afternoons.

Each time we embraced and you caught my scent, you held me a tiny bit closer without looks from wandering eyes around us.

A slight brush of our skin as we past each other sent lightning throughout my body, a feeling of warmth from my fingers to my toes.

Forbidden glances for a split second as our eyes catches each other's as we shared the same thought.

The soft brush of your lips onto mine in those stolen moments was what made me smile as I laid my head to rest at night.

Sailing through storms, lost at sea
Two ship search for love, they plea
Lost in the unknown, two ships
But relief was found on your lips
Not knowing what we found
A love, or lust, or trust inbound?
Ships tethered together tightly
Surrounded by chaos, so unsightly
But your eyes like the ocean
Slowly swaying me, a beautiful motion
I didn’t know I was searching for you
I didn’t know what I could do
‘Til I found your touch
I couldn’t get enough, to you I clutch
Feelings of adoration, giving me inspiration
Appreciation so strong, my salvation
Chaos ensues over the sea
Two ships search for love, they plea
Untethered by contract made too long ago
One made before truth I didn’t then know
Longing for each other, but belonging to another
Should we even bother, to go undercover
Or brake free and together always be?
Tell me if you can, are we forever lost at sea?
