Hopefully you all like this as much as i did after writing it.
Also check out my other haikus, they can be a bit offensive and some silly, but i think theyre pretty good

It had to super secede conscious thought.
To be biologically absolute.

Overthinking is a non conundrum.
Fight or flight, that’s all that’s left.

Removing choice, perhaps the key,
Though it’s no clear cut sanity.

Precision is swift, through non mortal blows,
Just within the fringes of lethality.

On the edge of life or the brink of death.
Let the flesh decide for itself.

Come take my hand,
and we’ll fly away.
To better times,
of yesterday.

We’ll search for places,
that are thin between.
We’ll find the tears,
and slip in unseen.

In between to nothing,
that exists there.
Where we can be alone,
without these cares.

Or we can travel through,
to the next world beyond.
Find the next in between,
and truly be gone.

We can find a place,
where we don’t exist.
Or we can choose to fall,
into the abyss.

Just be brave now,
and take my hand,
and let’s fly away,
to Neverland.
I have, throughout my life,
often been beset with a sort of
sickness,
a longing located
deep within my
shoulder blades for
wide white wings with which
to fly high away
from this world
and all it's little troubles.

Never before have I been so
afflicted than as I sit
in view of the world's walls,
these wide wild mountains.
It is as if I cannot
bear the thought
of being unable to touch
something so much greater
than my self.

Flight is dangerous
Miranda Oct 2019
I scan my boarding pass and begin the turtles pace
Down the tunnel to what looks like a big white metal bird that will take me back home.
I cross over the gap between the walkway and the plane
Where I can see the ground that feels like it’s miles beneath me.
The jump over the tiny valley always was the perfect mixture of scary and exhilaration,
Stepping into this powerful machine.
I press my hand on the cold metal as an encouragement to myself and the bird,
And I can feel its heartbeat.
It isn’t like mine, a rhythmic thump,
But rather a humming,
A continuous vibration.
I sit down in the seat that is just uncomfortable enough to make me keep
Readjusting every 5 minutes,
But I don’t care, I’m just ready to meet the clouds again.
I always loved flying,
That feeling when you get so high up in the air that your reality seems so far away.
For that couple hours, you get to physically escape your life.
But unfortunately, even miles off the ground you still can’t escape your thoughts.
I’ve always loved flying,
Being up in the clouds makes me feel closer to God.
It seems like He is right there,
Whipping up the clouds like cotton candy like heaven is a circus.
I always loved flying,
The magic of traveling so high and fast to your destination.
I hope I never lose the wonder of being in flight.
