Shadows grow like wildfire.  The sun falls short in the dusk hour, witching creatures fill the sky. Flying knighs on black wings bring the darkness with ungodly things. The horrors fill the the haunting hour herald by the twilight fire.

The pendulum of time swings back and forth
and touches all those who regard it’s worth.
There isn’t any indication of when it will stop
because none can foretell that time of the clock.

It includes all living creatures that move along
and there are some who recall it with a song.
In so many ways they’re somehow involved
as they know without it nothing gets resolved.

There's an ancient rhythm of the heart
that has been there ever since the start
when life evolved at the dawn of time
and began to beat a certain rhyme.

We hardly know how this came to be
and if there was any purpose to see;
across all those various stages of life
that seem to go through unending strife.

If the heartbeat is steady body is maintained
and together with the mind both are sustained
but if it falters and sometimes misses a beat
then there's something wrong one has to treat.

During the course of life's journey on earth
there are moments that are contrary to mirth;
a foe instead of a friend can cause one trouble
which will have to be dealt with on the double.

This ancient rhythm is the pulse of life
that all living creatures have and is rife;
within each one's ***** it can be heard
a semblance of the Creator's Divine Word.

Time,
such an unforgiving venture that grasp the focus of all wandering humans.
Making us quiver with fear and desperately longing for a glimpse of the vision behind the timely creatures’ eyes.
Taking everything we give out as relying sustenance.
Feasting on every action we execute on our day to day to give birth to freshly constructed seedlings.
Soon will they sprout to become awaiting experiences to mortal souls, and of course not all are roses.

Karma some might call it,
God’s wrath even.
But in all truth, it’s our own handling.
We nurtured the creature and handfed it our deeds that have led to our own naturally calculated fates.
So yes, be careful of how your hand swings.
Think twice of which way you sway, where you lay and think to say.
For your present actions are the source from which the creature nourishes itself
to give life to tomorrows unwritten day.

The sunset calling birds home
And winged creatures to rise.
Bidding earthlings farewell,
Arousing the next hemisphere to light.
Home coming to us,
Tugging our beings to freedom.
feeling the walls close in
the cold consuming your very soul
distant and cold
refusing any comfort
why are you still here?
who made your self worth so low?
the cracks between your aching heart
can't take another blow
the haunting
the lonely
the wonderers of night
causing fright
tear yourself apart
let your insides rot
fragile creature
terrified of the night.

As night approaches
And as darkness falls
I keep my eyes wide open

For my fears inside
Of the things that hide
And what now may have woken

Under the surface sheen
In the carousel of the surf
And the churned-up foam
Turquoise-coloured drink
And beige dust storm
Swirling down
Brushing against
Corals and polyps
That will die too and
Join the round bodies
Of diatoms.
Stars of the sea,
Celestial show in the deep.
Dancing as they descend,
Toward the inevitable end,
The boundless dark
A plain of mud
Made ghostly by their larks.
I had just seen a program about creatures of the sea, including diatoms, or phytoplankton that photosynthesize. It fascinated me that something so tiny and delicate could be so important, fixating 20% of the air's carbon and 40% of marine carbon. This makes them incredibly crucial to life on Earth.
