"there are never enough hours in the day"
a thought that consumes many with dismay
so many joys continue to decay
as we watch our lives waste away
one through twelve is where we stay
slowly vigor turns to grey

i.

O' how grand the star's were last evening
As I layed in the dew covered misty grass;
I observed the time, as hour's goeth to fast,
Wilt I last, on mine twenty seventh birthday?

ii.

Tommorrow, the twenty-third, another birth,
Whilst I've lived for twenty-six, I've seen hell.
I've met heaven in mine queen, I've seen cell's
I've discovered godly knowledge, spiritual bliss.

iii.

Shalt I liveth, another timecapsuled round?
I've seen nine-twenty-three, on the clock
For year's, was it a sign of something big
To happen to me, or to the world's own fear's?

iv.

Is it the destruction of earth, is it mine curse,
Shalt I breatheth another eve', shalt mine body
Disconnect with mine spirit; shalt I still smile,
Shalt these bone's goeth home, where Yahweh rest's in aisle's.

v.

Nine-twenty three, cometh soon, of eighty-eight
When I was hatched, in the creator's hand flashed;
Twenty-six fiscal's, making to one more ticking-hand
Wilt mine vision's cometh true, for me, thou, forever 27...

vi.

Shalt I still exist?
Or leaveth quickly to heaven........

We’re just two different clock that
Tick at the wrong time

The clock strikes ten.
I have two hours to finish this story.
*Done!
I call this form Unlucky 13.

I've always been the girl to love
Someone whose heart beats counter-clockwise
Someone always living an hour behind or ahead
Never along for the ride
Just there to see it end.

Tick Tock goes the clock
as I look at the time
Tick Tock goes the clock
its 7:49
Tick Tock goes the clock
One more minute till its done
Tick Tock goes the clock
And the shot gun is held above
Tick Tock goes the clock
My fingers touch the trigger
Tick Tock goes the clock
And its the last sound I will ever hear
Colten White Jun 2015
The arms are melting off the clock face,
as you rest your arms upon my shoulders,
and kiss away the marks of time from my lips.

the earth dancing out
sets stars and moons whirling so
clock hands clap every hour

I will not sleep with you in my mind.
I made my choices,
and they have lead me thus far.
It is only temporary,
I tell myself,
Like everything else.
Envelops you like a sea
then releases you gasping on the shore;
I’m trying to enjoy this,
Take it by the ticking of the clock,
But Time says he’s leaving,
and Life says, "no".
I made my choices
You made yours too.
I will not sleep with you in my mind.
