Your eyes looking at me with parental love
Freezing like snow drops
Your legs nearing me haltingly
Dissolving like water drops
Will you take me in your arms
Will you allow me to call you Mother
Do you know the yearning inside me
For the love of a mother’s heart
Leaving me abaft accepted selfishness
Is that you are doing now Mother
Though near you are afar from me
I am waiting mother with pain
Will that day come you recognizing
This poor creature, your daughter !

Rain makes me wet

Sun makes me dry

It can never be the other way

So no need to bet !

In a bubble he fly
To touch the sky so high
With a poke on the bubble
Flies a crow with a giggle
There he fell with a thud
On the vehicle full of mud

Women disguised as deities
With lines of oil paints on faces
Cosmic colourful designed plates
Enriched on the back of their heads
Body, in the colour of blood
Burning like a fire of anger
Swirling black eyes with rancour
Non stop dancing legs with the
Jingling of thick bronze anklets
Making a rhythmic terrific sound
Roaring of huge black elephants
Scaring me to run faster
Without knowing the destination
Ullulation, made by women
Rolling their tongues
Attacking me like a swarm of honeybees
Head started cracking into pieces
Sweating from head to toe
Shivering with fear of death
Opened my eyes from a dreadful dream
Taking a big sigh of escaping
From a dark journey !

Lost his wife a month ago
Became a drunkard with a flow
With the fear of solitude
Losing his fortitude
Memorizing his love's gratitude
Never did he go for work
With his heart as a fork
Lying on roads like a dwarf
Back to home late at dusk
Five of them were observing
From the day losing all his gay
Were his unknown guests popping
Throughout all the day
His house, the place where they stay
A and B were they, the two cats
E,F and G were they, the three rats
Forgetting their rivalry
Planned to bring him back
To the world of felicity
Stopping him from being a slack
Back after his habitual way
Seeing his house with a revelation
Full of lights and balloons of decoration
Getting in to his foyer
Welcomed by a birthday choir
From his Beloved's' gramophone
Standing there with a cake of cone
The five unknown guests of his home
Tears flowing from his eyes so red
With a wish to hug them Ted
Adopting them as his pets
Killing his habit of drinking pest
Changing himself as their best !
Another fantasy from me :-)

Thanking rain for watering my plants
Flowers laughing at my laziness

Walking through the streets
Of my beautiful village
Decorated with lights
Of rainbow colours
Breathing natural fresh air
Stopping by the banyan tree
Seeing men sitting under it
In their mundu and shirts
With thin and thick golden lines
Engaged in their louder chat
Boys in their new dress
Busy with their activities
Girls in full skirt and blouse
Of different golden designs
Sitting in the temple veranda
Tying garlands of flowers
Laughing out louder for
Jokes of their own world
Inside the temple kitchen
Busy preparing his sweet rice pudding
The priest, joining the
Girls wit with a simple smile
A group of women looking
Traditional in their Kerala Saree
Tied hair with jasmine flowers
It was a day of festival
Comes every year with a delight
Pleasing the Deities, for
The divine blessings of
Prosperity and happiness
In this village of togetherness !

Fell on the green grass
In a silent deep forest
Green grasshopper escapes
From my heavy thud
White Rabbits peeping out
From their burrows
Brown woodpecker stops
It's wood work
Yellow and brown monkeys
Jumping from branches
Black ants splitting
From their lines
Yellow spotted deer running
As fast as he could
Orange chirping birds on trees
Gossiping about me
Coo-Coo, faraway sings
The black beauty Cuckoo
Grey bats fly out from a cave
With a screeching noise
Scary innocent creatures
Reckoning me, their enemy

Getting up from the ground
Nearing them slowly
Acquainting me as their
Friend and not an enemy
One by one they came
To feel it in real
Touching me with love
Fed me with nuts and fruits
Playing with great cheer
With no more fear
Suddenly it happened
A powerful roaring sound
Giving them an instinct
Of their helpless death
Cuddled around me with
A message to save them
Roaring sound was
Moving near to catch its prey
Promising never to leave
Prepared myself being brave
Getting a call from my mother
Have to leave them in my dream !

Yellow with white butterflies
Fluttering over the flowers
Big bee comes flirting with a buzz
Amidst my conversation with
Rose, the flower queen
Giggling of her friends being a response
Red whiskered bulbul sings vociferously
Please to meet you in our kingdom
Never beautiful but humble the black crow
Bringing some fruits honouring her guest
Wishing me hi from aloft the Sun
A pleasant morning with nature
Made my day a beautiful creation
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Walls wet after a breezy rain
Small green mosses grown
Snails slowly moving on the wet greenery ground
Flowers blooms from tiny plants
Yellow, red and Violet
Muddy scent spreading fragrance through out the earth
Butterflies kissing their flowers of love
Rain flies enjoying the rain's visit
Rivers and lakes are fresh and cool
Children running to jump in streams of water
Me, under blanket sleeping tight !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Wish to feel the weird
Experience after demise
How, who feel about
Me, before and after
Wish to know that
Real and fake love
Being Showered on me
Will there be anyone
Travelling with me to
The silent graveyard
Will there be anyone
Restraining their happiness
Will there be anyone
Renouncing their luxury
Will anyone curse me
Anyone shed tears for me
Wish to feel the experience
Knowing who is in need
Of my existence so badly !
Prathipa Nair Mar 2018
Looking through the window
He sat breathing with ease
Egressing of rain announced
By the black cuckoo so proud
Raindrops falling tardily from leaves
Tickling the wet and shy earth
In her dress of sticking flowers
Spreading the fragrance of a new bride
Sparrows and squirrels visit houses
Breaking the silence after rain!
Prathipa Nair Aug 2016
It was a lovely day after rain
Green paddy fields dancing
With their heads shaking
For the rhythm of breeze
A yellow butterfly fluttering
Around beautiful flowers
The muddy scent spreading
Earth's love with the rain
Water gliding from leaves
With a sound of gulp
Trees in wet clothes shivering
Waiting for a towel from the sun
Flowers and leaves like stamps
Sticked on the wet ground
With no pride but style
Rain leaves with a silent smile

Mary, is in love
     With Peter
Believing in love
     No age bar
For he is younger
     Than her
Way of caring her
      Makes him
A Matured Lover !

It was a Sunday sunny noon
Never knew was a golden boon
In my hand with the hospital bill
To the counter went to fill

Asking my cousin to have a seat
Came to have a drink since it was heat
Felt jingle bells ringing inside me
Air of love crossing against me

Walking back to support her
A surprise approaching me near
Towards me that breeze with a smile
Coming with first love of pile

The man whom I met through Internet
Fell in love just by his voice set
Never seen his face before
Still felt his presence as seashore

Met their eyes with a light
With a feel they were right !
Prathipa Nair May 2016
In an orange suit was the groom
In a red frock was the bride
Walking to the wedding floor
Flashing their most winning smile
The carrot and the beetroot

Radish, the priest addressing
The couple to come forward
Taking their blessings from
Potato, bride's grandmother
Joins the priest to proceed

Hall, crowded with guests
One by one joining them
Drumstick, the tallest uncle
Comes with his wife, lady's finger
With her sister, the Eggplant

Then came the triple sisters
Green, red and yellow
The stout capsicums
Always in dieting and yoga
Came the slim beauty bean

Hot and **** green chillies
With her cousins G and G
Red and pulpy tomatoes
Came running some toddlers
Of round and small green peas

A celebration was the wedding
Of happiness and togetherness
Sharing their blessings and love
With a sweet kiss and a tight hug
Were happily married with a bang !
Welcome to the wedding :-)

Doors of my heart creaking with pain in silence
Opened and closed with hands of fate
Disguised as Love of my life being the reason to live and die
Eyes of tank filled with salt water blurring vision of hope
Lost love pushing me to grave
Fear of death pulling me to face
Inside me happening this war since years
In search of a world where my heart gets to heal !
Prathipa Nair Jul 2016
Travelling a long way to a hill-top
From where I can get the vision of
The beauty of God's creations
Black and grey mountains
Standing like body guards
The sun peeping out
Behind the mountains
Clouds moving gracefully
Trying to touch the hills
Running waters of the rivers
Spreading its fragrance on small rocks
Ground of green grass where
Boys grazing cattle of cows
Yachtsman in his boat singing
Songs about the beautiful rivers
On his way back to home
Old woman sitting under a Banyan tree
Tiring from her day's work of selling buttermilk
Sun hiding slowly behind the hills
Allowing the moon to shine
Forest fires lit at night like stars on a hill-top
By the people of the country side
Was lost in the world of sleep
In my home of hill-top tent
Thanking God for this beautiful heaven!

Nothing in my pocket
Aloof wearing this jacket
Why this louder racket
Chasing me with a locket
Am I a familiar facet
Of a rampant celebutante?
Prathipa Nair Jan 2019
Under foggy clouds
In a morning bus
Pickled with butterflies
Of different liveries
Occupying my seat
Filled with content
Proceeding few miles
****** with a sudden halt
There came the lady
Combatant of mine
Who hankers for my seat
Looking at me like a mage
Closing my helpless eyes
Turned my face
Inhaling cool fresh air
Till I reached the destination
Prathipa Nair Aug 2016
Staring at a graffito on the wall
Sitting in her wheel chair
Unforgettable visions crossing
With a bleeding in her heart
Cursing those days of childhood
Making her motionless
King of poverty disguised
As malnutrition
Grabbing the bliss of her life
Prathipa Nair Jan 2018
Wind takes my breath away
Which you gave me from your lips
Chase the wind my love
Save me from dying without you!
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Alluring me with your looks
Beckoning with your eyes
Changing my mind in a second
Dedicating your song
Enduring your love for me
Fascinating me in a way
Germinating in my heart
Habituating me for you
Illustrating your heart of love
Jauntily exposing for me
Keenly trying to make me a
Laburnum flower of yellow
Meandering around me with
Never ending love and lust
Oscillating me in your arms
Proposing with red roses
Quieting my heart beat
Releasing me giving oxygen
Slowly making me yours
Treating me like an angel
Ultimately surrendering
Victoriously claimed your love
Watching me falling for you
Xanthic flowers grow in me
Yaffingale bird making green
Zealously engaging me in you !
Prathipa Nair May 2016
Met him daily
But struggled to
Look into his eyes
The moment i try
His eyes make me blush
Putting my head down
I become a new-born BRIDE !
Prathipa Nair Jul 2016
Every morning he goes to school
Green leaves waving him goodbye with a smile

Seeing them turning yellow
Waving him goodbye still with the same smile

Seeing them falling slowly
Waving him goodbye with a last smile

Seeing them dead on the ground with a smile
Teaching him to move on in his life

Inspiring him never to give up
His smile for the unavoidable

Walking with a smile waving
His daily goodbye to the new green leaves!
Just move on in life !
Prathipa Nair May 2016
You are always Mine,
And that's always Fine.
In between never a Line,
Which distracts our love to Shine!

From your eyes that wine,
Flows through my spine,
Holding me like a twine;
Tells me you are always mine!

From your lips that smile,
That comes even from Mile,
Making me smile like a Nile;
Tells me you are always Mine!
Prathipa Nair Jul 2016
Walking in the moon's limelight
Holding hands with him
On the road of black carpet
Green Ashoka, the sorrow-less trees of fences
Decorated with orange-yellow flowers
Turning red with her blush
Welcomed by the green grass of audiences
To the throne of rosewood bench
On his shoulders holding her close
Seated together to inaugurate
A beautiful portrait on the canvas of blue lake
Dancing colourful fishes jumping up and down
Shinning glitters of sizzling rain
Enjoying the bliss of their first kiss
With the singing sweet voice of the nightingale
Lost in their world of romantic love !
Prathipa Nair May 2016
In a clear crystal blue sea
Holding hands with her
Orange, silver and golden
Bigger and little ones
Passing with a smiling face
Taking me to a white shell
Of her ocean locker
Rainbow colours of light rays
Reflecting to my eyes
When the keys unlocked
Inside was a white pearl
Presenting me her property
Proposing me as her lover
With her wide eyes open
Awaiting for me to answer
Oh! My Mermaid Beauty
For you I am always ready !
Prathipa Nair Mar 2018
Sitting under the sacred Asoka tree
With my mind in solitude
Hiding behind the tree smiling
He comes out slowly
With his hands covering my eyes
Feeling his cuddling touch
My gloomy lips blooms like a flower
Turned to see that facetious one
Standing with an unimpeachable smile!
Oh! Am I dreaming?
In front of me the sky blued Krishna
With his full weight on left foot
Playing the nine-eyed flute
Filled with spiritual music of love!
Prathipa Nair Oct 2016
Carrying her with me alike a kangaroo
Never apart by any means
A beauty of soft and silky skin
in her alluring attic
Calling me with her sweet voice
Joining me when I smile, cry, get angry
Becoming the reason of all my emotions
A silent moan at night to assure my presence
Not a second is possible without her thoughts
Making me forgetting the world with her presence
She has relatively everything within
           Meeting my expectations
With solutions for my problems
Showing me a path for my confusions
Breaking my loneliness with music
I love her to the core, my sole companion
Despite a new soul being replaced in her place
Losing myself in her thoughts
Who durably remains the best in my life

Mourning in the death of my cellphone !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
The clock struck twelve at midnight
Tick-tick-tick-tick goes on
Suddenly woke up from my sleep
A shadow passing my window
With a sharp knife
Whole body sweating with fear
Hands and legs tied with creepers of thorns
Breaking my bones by inches
Darkness capturing the room
Someone was trying to unlock the door
Bang-Bang knocking on the door
Threatening to **** me
Became dumb in vain to shout
It was calling my name with a roar
Pushed opened the door
And the shadow came in with the knife
Nearing me with blood drops from its eyes
Came in force with the sharp edge
To pierce into my stomach
Now the face was clear for me
Recognising it as depression
Abiding full strength breaking the creepers
Became the shadow's murderer!
Prathipa Nair Aug 2016
Transformed to a good actor
Portraying myself being strong
Controlling my silent tears

Inviting the help of rain
Covering red veins pain

Revealing the volcanic tears
Transforming to a bad actor
Lacking my virtuosity
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
A silent afternoon
Warm breeze through
my window
Short nap after lunch
Crying of the crows
Swirling of the fan
Neem leaves peeping in
To see me sleeping
Love to take a short nap at noon with silence :-)

Man with four children
One is selfish
One is greedy
One is arrogant
One is cunning
Father, their basement
Becomes discontent
Children, his pillars
Becomes weapons !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
It was the month of April
Was in grade seventh or eighth
Spending summer holidays
With my mischievous cousins
In my ancestral home
One night making me
Scary and neurotic
Jingling sound of anklets
Woke me from my sleep
That sound climbing upstairs
Nearing to our bed where
Me and my cousin slept
Waking her from her sleep
With a fear on her face
Pale with yellow and red

Moving towards us rapidly
With a aim to harm us
Closing our eyes tight
Holding our hands together
Heart beating faster like a cheetah
Becoming speechless
Trying to call out louder
Someone to help us
But was in vain to do so
Came out my voice
Just to reach my mother
Came running to us with
A fear and looking worried
Hugging her with tears
Running downstairs like a lightning

Narrating the nightmare
In the morning to granny
Heard an ancestral story
About the jingling of anklets
In excitement was she
Annotating about Gods
Walking through the streets
Their legs with anklets
And hands with iron chains
Protecting the people from
The darkness and evils
Lucky are those who can
Hear that Holy sound
With an innocent smile
Felt how lucky we are !
Prathipa Nair May 2019
An evening drive with my love
Lakes, mountains, trees and breeze
Witnessing the eternity in our eyes
Welcoming girls of golden flowers
Standing in yellow on both sides
With a saucy smile his eyes scan
In search of my wooing lips
Finding it waiting for him with yearn
Sudden break with locking lips
Eyes closed when the heart echos
This is your Un resistible world!
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Sitting in my corridor
On my favourite couch
Having my evening coffee
Inhaling the muddy scent
Gifted by the drizzling rain
As I lifted my head
Saw that beautiful sight
On top of our water tank
A pair of white pigeons
With their nose together
Kissing tight each other
Expressing their emotion
Giving a feel of human love
Prathipa Nair May 2016
After an evening shower
A walk in my terrace
Cool breeze with
A feather light touch
Passing through me
Giving me a feel of
Flying weightless
Crows in a row
Back to their homes
Slowly moving clouds
The moon, playing
Hide and Seek
To and fro like a firefly
Passing helicopters
Tallest buildings
With their lights on
Enjoying all these
Finishing my walk
Let me have my supper
And go to bed to dream!
Prathipa Nair Nov 2016
Leaning on our car in a world of solely two
Head on his shoulders standing in silence
His hands holding me close with love
Buzzing of bee, chirping of birds, fluttering dragonflies
Pampering us with their music of love
Blue waters of vast dam surrounded by mountains
with narrow white ribbon waterfalls
Taking our souls to a world of fairy tale
Where we are the king and queen swinging on moon
Lips locked by kisses with muffled eyes !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Brown and White rock salts
Of stones
Making a wide mat of sand
Waves come skating like
A group of young boys
Enjoying their summer days
***** running from sea to shore
Like tiny remote cars
Moon with a smile welcoming
To their world of silence
Stars here and there posted
As beautiful female hosts
With a welcoming drink
Comes the cool breeze
Me, the chief guest sitting
On the seat of sand
Thanking the manager, the
The one in a blue dress, the Sky!

My heart stops seeing a Children's park
Transforming into a child's heart
My soul disguising as a child
Runs to play on the sliding board,
Sea-saw, and the all time favourite
The swing taking me to the sky
And bringing me to the earth
With an adventurous feel of
Flying in the air !
Prathipa Nair May 2016
In a standard row
Like an engine train go
Carrying a unit of rice
Never knowing the price
Leading a long way
Never saying a single nay
Always in a uniformity
Black or red to prettify
Naughty ants are they
Who bite us on their way !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Walking through the green paddy fields of solitude
Training my heart to open my love for you
Seeing you coming towards me with a smile
Me, with a fast beating heart of love waiting to explore

You, coming near me with a request of being a statue for your painting
Ready with your canvas and colours
Making me sit under the ******* tree

Searching for words to express my love for you
Waiting to see my beautiful painting on your canvas
Now searching for words to control my tears
Knowing that I was just a statue for your painting
And that painting was your love !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Where will I go in search of
a piece of it ?
How will I find a piece of it in this world of fish market ?
Irritating talks, hurting deeds,
Culture less actions, dominating mentality, spreading rumours,
Insulting emotions, disrespect,
Where I, the biggest ego
Staying in a permanent room
Of everyone's head to toe
Where can I find a piece of it ?
A PEACE OF MIND !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Never drop me like a waste
For I am not your fate

Value me as a pearl
But not like a hurl

Never use me for misery
But only for ecstasy

Pleading with a peer
Me, the overflowing tear !
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Swinging on a pleasant evening
Yellow golden flowers dropping on me
Grandfather's white beard,
Came flying to me, the pappus
Blowing it up with a smile
Excited to bring out the antlions
Caught some red ants being their prey
Dropping them on their sand pits
Waiting to see them come out
Orange-red jungle flame flowers
Inviting me to have a sip of honey from it
Aimed some mangoes with my catapult
Ate them dipping in a mixture of salt and chilli powder
There came a gorgeous blue butterfly
Challenging me to catch it
Tired after all these activities
Back to my swing, to and fro
Flying high with a feel to touch the sky
It was my unforgettable evening !
Prathipa Nair Sep 2016
Mother sky approached me
With a proposal of her two sons
The sun along with the moon
Dumbfounded by my answer
That I can marry the one alone
Whom I can see amaranthine
Prathipa Nair Jun 2016
Beautiful fireworks in the sky
Sparkles in her smile
Colourful butterflies fluttering
When she passes by
Innocent child-like affection
Reflects in her eyes
Soft and silky black thread
Her waving long hair
Does she know me admiring beside
With a heartbeat facing tide
To know what is going on in her mind
Asked me to take her in a boat
Far way from the shore
Dim yellow moonlight forced me to admire her more
Looking at me with a smile
Took her scarf out of her nape
A flash of light hit my eyes
It was her diamond pendant with my name
Confiding her love with a romantic hail !
