In this world
Full of broken dreams
I asked the silence,
"Have you ever been hurt?"

It came close,
For all I could hear,
It murmured something,
In my ear,

"People shout,
They hurt me,
They speak the worst,
And they break me."

I starred,
As long as I could see,
But gone was the silence again,
How could this be?

I imagined,
Everything breaking,
The voice of people,
And the faiths shaking,

Everyone speaks
And every heart can be shattered
Why hurt like this?
When we can be better?
Just want to say that it is better to remain quiet sometimes. It is better not to say the rude things or shout at others. Hope my message is conveyed through this short poem.
The words that spill onto these pages
Harm more than they heal

A constant reminder of the lost loves
And the many mistakes we’ve made

But, in order to heal from these wounds
We have to learn to accept them

You may not have someone to cuddle with
You may not have someone to give you sweet kisses
You may not have someone you can call yours
But you have someone you can confide with
But you have someone who will help you through anything
But you have someone who will love you no matter what
And I'm **** glad that's me
Tried being the good girl,
I got nothing.
Listens to whatever you say,
I got nothing.
Did what I think was best for us,
I got nothing.
Pretending to be happy even if I'm not,
I got nothing.
And now loving you even if you don't feel the same,
*I got nothing.
She displays
her insecurity.....Her inability
With pride
Selling them In exchange
For attention and affection
That she wears
As a jewel With vanity

Little did she know
That she just need to love
And let go....
With no strings attached
For love to return
In its true form
To heal her wounds
My stomach never felt like this
A stone falling deep into the sea
Going into the unknown
Actually makes me so aware

3 AM felt so warming
Infiltrating my dreams
For me to wake up with a smile
Was no longer rare

I could get out of bed
Take my first breath
All without feeling sick
And that was scary

Stepping outside was now refreshing
Instead of being bashed by the tide
I flowed with it
I found a painkiller for numbness.
When I was a kid
and ****** something up,
my grandfather would say:
"If you choose to live
on the railroad tracks
you can't be surprised
when a train hits you."
All these years later,
I've been hit by so many
I no longer notice them.
And I still haven't
moved off the tracks.
