He told me my scars weren't beautiful
And I told him that no one could ever really admire a masterpiece
Without taking a few steps back
Your scars make you who you are and no matter what you are beautiful
The night’s ramblings
Whispered incoherently
Hearts synced forever
Can comprehend them
It’s a winding labyrinth
Hand in hand
So as not to lose each other
By the moonlit path
Incoherent whispers
But meaningful conversations
Laying supine under starry sky
It’s a dream together
Preparing to fly to destinations
Night’s ramblings
Have given a new meaning
To the adventure of life
My mind is an ocean
It's harsh waves drowning the things I cannot say for fear of harsh judgements
Toying with the things I want to
Like a small boat on the open water
The darkening skies harboring no nice weather
For your boat is out too far to return safely
You are alone tonight
With your bottle you plan on drinking dry
Your solitude can be your savior but it can also be your demise
And all that's left is me sitting here in silence, wondering why.
December 22, 2014
Sure, the time flies
but we can too if we try.
It's only been a year
but it's been my whole **** life
and I'm thinking of all the beer,
***, cheap liquor, and wine.
And I'm thinking of all that time
spent sitting side by side,
all of us so far gone
yet matching each other's stride,
but never looking right in other's eyes.

I can still see it now,
even after adding up all these days
into months gone from our lives.
I can still see just how
the broken smoke glass always stays
lodged in my lungs and mind.
And behind me in the mirror cloud
I spy the spot where magic still plays
a major role in my daily grind.

And I'm grasping at the looking glass
just trying to figure out how to get back.
What would I give for a heart of flesh to warm me through,
Instead of this heart of stone ice-cold whatever I do;
Hard and cold and small, of all hearts the worst of all.

What would I give for words, if only words would come;
But now in its misery my spirit has fallen dumb:
O, merry friends, go your way, I have never a word to say.

What would I give for tears, not smiles but scalding tears,
To wash the black mark clean, and to thaw the frost of years,
To wash the stain ingrain and to make me clean again.
A solitary wanderer
Guided by the winds
Through lonely valleys
Sipping from streams
Sleeping under stars
Night’s canopy as tent
Rolling on soft grass
Lay supine, dreaming
Of the sparkling stars
Holding them in the eyes
Life sparkles with glee
Solitary wanderer
Waylaid from the crowd
Greener pastures
Greets the wanderer
Solitude is bliss
Wanderer finds meaning
Finding ones purpose
Turning away from the crowd
You count me down
1 night to make peace but, the
2 of us can make the world stop
3 nights and you must leave on day
4 before the sun
5 reasons I need you to stay
6 because I might just love you
7 different ways to do the wrong things and
8 ways to say it
9 without six means you're mine
10 fingers as I hold your hand for the last time
For the author of "You count me up"
Sawyer Westerfield. Your art does things even if you can't see.
The world is an addiction
Eyes filled with vanity
Wonder if it's green like envy
Wonder if it all spring from the same seed
See one with it and you have to get it
By any means, necessary
Even running at them at a red light
Close to a district
But how we split a watch three way
Guess two must have to die today
The world is an addiction
Selling ***
We want to see more violence
More brutality even the headlights on our cars getting meaner
Is this what the media is teaching us?
In 30 second intervals feeding us
That poison
The world is an addiction
But where to find rehab
Is it with in a church
For even pastor Mason wants his dough and he doesn't pray for a dollar
So I come to my knees and ask for forgiveness
For the Versace and Dolce and Gabbana
Everything I don't need while there are kids who don't eat
I was like them, hungry
guess that's why I buy things
The world is an addiction
It flows through my veins like heroine, it goes up my nose like *******, inhaled it through my mouth like drough, smoke it of a pipe like Crack
For I desire everything I don't have
The world is my addiction
I seem to want all that I can't have since having all I have is not enough.
