Through
the
looking
glass

on the sands of a shore
to
a
common park
an
African heart

We
fathom the winds
stave
the
tempest
that
stokes the grave

from
a lions roar
to
a humble dove
speak in tongues
none have heard
turning
sound
to
God's word

living
in straits
of
life above
Valhalla
here
the
gift of  love
.
To all the poets/poetess and those to come
You
inspire peace and one love

Like, a suspect from the law.
Love got me, running away.
Yes, so afraid that I might enjoy it.

Just when I feel the need to explore it.
I see so much distraction that affects my attraction.
Oh, love got me, running away.

Don't want this heart of mine in pain.
Because hurt never been a good thing.
Don't matter what any expert might say.

So, I'm running away(running)
Yes, running away (just running)
Afraid of affection.

Hello Daisies
Have you ever heard
A melody
A toon
A song
So sad
You had to scream
Turn that off

That's me
That's where I belong
But,
You would only be mad
If I said no,

Keep it on.

What came before, said no one clearly
An explosion of life, the big bang theory
A chasm of chaos, as out come the stars
Planets and black holes,
up pop Venus and Mars
Galaxies are formed in a matter not ever known by man
As they stretch into infinite and further if they can
Are we here all by chance,
or is there a higher, godlike power
Throwing out orders since the start of time, from its heavenly, overseeing tower
All we can do is wonder in time,
until that day we finally die
And to think,
if we really get told,
after we say,
our final,
goodbye

sometimes i come here
to write only for you;
sacred words spilt on white
when i’m feeling so blue.
sometimes i come to here
to mourn a love
long lost to time
and sometimes i come
just to remember;
that once you where mine.

8 Ducklings through Mom
are enough to astound.
6 Alcott Lane, Greenhills.
Winton Woods playground.
Christmas Terry loved a TV
I loved Beach boy record
Kevin loved math books
we shared Umbilical Cord.
Each poem I write always seems less than your poems. Love won't leave me alone.

So Long, Cowboy
Red earth painted on your sun-kissed face
Marked the shadow of a veil
And the rim of your Stetson worn out

Was I really that mean to you?
To leave you in the dust
So that my sneakers feel the dry embrace of cracked pavement?

You walked to me barefoot at sundown
The fire outlining the silhouette of your ribs
In The Garden of Saint Paul’s Hospital

Your thin bones
Toothy smile
Fixed gaze

I’ll send you a postcard
You send me your love
Listened to "Nation of Two" by Vance Joy; "The Garden of Saint Paul's Hospital" by Vincent van Gogh
At the heart of the village
The leader lived
Led with integrity

Fence on a side with spikes
Where nature meets eternity
Brick walls on the other side
For security

No pretence
Sharing beliefs, disagreements griefs and bliss
The family of simple needs

Sparse the spread
The table neatly laid
With a welcoming spirit
That never fades

It was the simplicity of the house
Where hearth and home, evoked grace
Old chipping doors, unkempt outdoors
Where flowers bloomed effortlessly
