Tonight, she taught me the nature of healing summer rains
Whimsical descriptions of dancing in puddles, but
Metaphors only serve to drown her pain
Dry on the surface, swearing inside the drought sustains
But dew droplets in her eyes betray her restraint
The morning after, the storm remains

Little flower, bent at the stem
Oversaturated by the self-absorbed
Her waterlogged roots weighing her down, but
In fields of bloom they still look to you
See, the weak reach for the easily used green and blue tulip hues
But her yellow petals require strength to be pulled from the meadow
For A Dear Friend: Stronger then she knows.
We were attached
by the same red string.
Except ours is wrapped around
our necks and each
time it gets harder and harder
to breathe; love wants
us together, but yet fate says
we simply cannot be.

The night lit with red lamps,
oozing musk into the air,
the moon's drunk in the rhythm
of the dancer's heart,
as he twirls his partner.

She smiles through the night
as the jasmines on her hair
fills his heart with rivers
of passion of the heavens.

The mystique of the night
grips time as it stands still,
as they get engraved in time .

Have you ever wished time would stop?
Like everything coming to a
Standstill

Just so you can have a moment
To catch your breath
You know that
There are always
Stars
Even when the clouds
Are most dense
But they will always
Go away eventually
Sometimes you have to
Stop
And remember things
Like these
falling is the color
of a naked heart, dipped
in cobalt dreams & violet
yearnings; bruises blooming

in amber, coagulating red roses;
marrow fueled & exposed, as it rises
—golden-yellow like the waking sun
with olive desires & an indigo passion;

it is in the merging of pigments into bright
light, brutal and blinding, but full of delight.

To the unknown street I am standing
For the extended life I am crying
Hating the way I am living
The flower that blossoms everyday
and wither very quickly
To the unknown people walking around
Crossing me everywhere
I am like the red light
Nothing to do and stopping myself to do
My colors are not showing up the world
My feet doesn't move forward
I am a red light
Standing alone,
saying 'stop' to myself
To the unknown street I am standing.
Blue iris I eye down
Green paper appearing all around
Red muse muting everything blown
Yellow flowers grown swinging with the sound
The hues are soothing
But the gray gravity brings me too a down reality
A pallet mixed in with neutral tones and anxiety thrown
Trying to paint a vivid escape in between the sketches of our complexion
